What A Korbat Dressed Up As For Halloween

The Darigan Korbat mused at his reflection in the mirror,
As he hung upside down.
He tried a ferocious snarl, and then a mean grimace,
And then a menacing frown.

He licked and groomed his neck ruff to sleek perfection,
Flapped his furry wings to make himself appear bigger,
Wiggled his fluffy ears and perked them up.
The month of Collecting is his month, and he was no amateur.

This year he wanted to dress up as Lord Darigan,
To the annual Halloween party.
The Korbat and his owner finally saved up enough Neopoints,
To paint him Darigan from his original colour--Baby.

Going from Baby to Darigan, as you might imagine,
Was quite a shocking change.
He went from tiny and cute with a bow and dummy,
To a purple fright with yellow eyes so strange.

All he needed now was a torn maroon tunic,
A black cloak and a staff.
Of course, he must perfect his intimidating expressions,
And his best evil laugh.

Then he will be all ready for the Halloween party.
He could barely contain his excitement as the day drew near.
You just know that his mind was already tinkering,
About what he’ll dress up as next year!

A Journey to Korbat's Lab

All you've got is a ball and an old wooden paddle
Pay no mind to the skeletons that rattle and rattle.
The Spyders and Korbats will stand in your way,
But good aim and angles will carry the day!

You'll find many brews in this dank, dark abyss
They can help you find fortune, or find death's black kiss.
They can make your ball faster, make a rocket appear,
Make your paddle much bigger, make all the boxes clear!

Don't be alarmed when the screen is filled up with balls
That bounce off the Spyders, the blocks, and the walls
When the balls turn red, that starts the real fun
Their box-blasting power is second to none!

If you fancy a challenge, grab that yellow flask there,
To reverse your direction, and break boxes with flare!
But avoid that big skull - it's dangerous, true,
Make sure not to touch it - or game over for you!

Korbatty Limericks

There once was a Korbat named Carl
Who always said things with a snarl.
He would hang from a tree
And glare at the sea
And make rumbly noises like a Grarrl.

His neighbour, a Korbat named Sue
Was different, for she liked to moo.
When Neopians told her
To stop, she grew bolder
And mooed till the roof fell through.

And then there was little old Bob
Who was once every bat's heart-throb.
He still liked to sing
And lift a dainty wing
To place the old kettle on the hob.

The youngest, a Korbat named Star
Was the sanest of the four by far.
She dreamed of the day
She could finally get away
And fly on past the Neopian Bazaar.

I Wish I was a Korbat

I wish I was a Korbat!
One with beady little eyes, 
I'd get to stay up all night long and travel through the skies.

I wish I was a Korbat with such pretty little wings,
Such wings for swooping down on prey and stealing all their things.

I wish I was a Korbat with a pair of floppy ears,
You could tell me all your secrets, all your wishes, all your fears.

I wish I was a Korbat with a pointy row of teeth,
Then I'd be afraid of nothing, not even the mighty Skeith!

I wish I was a Korbat, living in a little cave,
To sleep and slumber upside-down, it's simply what I crave!

I grab my morphing potion and I take a hearty drink,
And just before I know It my whole body starts to shrink. 

My arms turn into little wings, my ears begin to grow, 
My teeth get nice and pointy, then I check the mirror- OH NO!!

I've turned into a Korbat, yes! But much to my dismay,
I am no longer excited cuz my colour changed to grey.

The White Korbat Glided through the Haunted Woods

Awakening of a local haunting
Or a sudden gust of wind
As silent as her arrival
Only the trees saw her leave

Far and further, higher and high
She turned down the inviting branches
Of the roots, stretching underneath
Dark and darker, deeper and deep

For they grew against the same land
Under the same piece of sky
Watched by countless blinking eyes
Now with two pale moons in the night

A tender scythe, a softer blade 
Closer and closer she approached
The moons became one, and then the one
Descended into the deeper dark

Forward, carried by herself, swiftly
But not as fast as time, although
Forward, they flew together, forward
The white korbat glided through the Haunted Woods

Korbat Scientist Outfit

A spooky outfit on this site
Is Korbat Scientist.
It’s quite the strangest Korbat set
That ever did exist!

The Glasses feature swirls of red
In place of proper eyes.
The silver moustache and goatee
Are quite an odd disguise.

The Wig is also grey as well,
So ragged, tousled, shook.
It does befit mad scientists
That quite neglect their looks.

The Gown is made of fabric white,
And shut with toggles grey.
This lab coat is a spotless white,
A creepy, pale display.

The Shoes are black, and laced with string.
They withstand acid drips.
They’re rubber soled, and will not slip.
Your Korbat never trips.

The rubber Gloves are purple hued,
And fit your Korbat’s paws.
They’re heavy, and cannot be pierced
By your pet’s pointy claws.

And finally, the Beaker held
Within the Korbat’s paw
Is creepy, green and bubbling
And fills you with weird awe.

The Korbat Scientist is such
An eerie character!
Its outfit is the spookiest,
You simply must concur!

Korbat's Cave

As you enter into the darkened lair
and light a lantern with caution and care
A black figure darts past on wings lithe and strong.
Hark! Korbats nest here all day long.

This is the cave where they live and thrive
Under the bright of day they shelter and hide
For the nocturnal Pets feel safe in the dark
And leave the cave only as starlight sparks.

Let not their appearance fill you with fright
For Korbats are friends during both day and night
One swoops down with wings held wide
A jovial hug! You accept it with pride.

What a lovely roost for a batty young pet.
It is quite the privilege to have befriended and met
a spooky Pet who lives up to his name
Korbats are a Neopet of renown and acclaim.

And, she gives a great hug!

Sharp claws, sharp teeth,
Oh, the Korbat is sweet,
Friendliest bat you'll meet-
Just don't step on her feet.

And we have come to say:
Do they want to scare? Nay!
