Eyrie Day Special

Eyrie Day
by ragecandybar

Wing-beats span across the sky,
Lofty feathers carry them high.
Sweeping plumes of every shade
Make up their flock -- an Eyrie parade.

With downy tufts and golden beaks,
Their group is great, but each unique.
The great migration has finally come,
But the Eryies’ journey has just begun.

The soaring herd arcs over the land,
Past Haunted Woods and Lost Desert sand.
Beyond charted islands and into the bleak,
A hallowed roost is what they seek.

The young ones grow weary,
But the flock will not cease;
Not ‘til they arrive at this marvellous peak.
The place is a legend, or perhaps a mirage,
Yet nothing will stop the Eyrie barrage.

At last, the clouds part
And it comes into view;
Fyora be praised, the legends were true!
A tropical mountain so pleasant and warm
Openly welcomes the whole Eyrie swarm.

With paradise found,
They are ready to rest
And at last they have found
A safe place to nest.

Talinia, on Target
by precious_katuch14

Deadly quick and accurate
Through hail, rain or snow.
This Eyrie keenly watches
And draws her bow.

She waits with bated breath
Waits for her team's cue.
Her arrows fly straight
And hit their target true.

Talinia, she's on target,
An Eyrie with sharp eyes.
Ready for any adventure
Through sand, woods or ice.

Deft hands, precise fingers,
Perfect to string and shoot.
When she's prepared to fire,
Enemies shake in their boots!

She's focused on victory,
To keep her friends safe.
In her bow and arrows
They can place their faith.

Talinia, always on target,
Always dependable and strong.
With her on your side,
Battles won't take long!

Kass' Ambitions
by parody_ham

Atop the Citadel’s spires
Stood an Eyrie with desires
To steal power at any cost;
In this trade, his nobleness lost.

The Lordship Darigan gone,
There rose a terrible dawn.
Dissenters quieted soon
Or faced immediate doom.

Ultimate power in his grasp
Ruthless clawing in talons clasp.
None could stand against him alone;
Many tried for the stolen throne.

Hope relinquishing, all seemed lost,
Until a Lord who paid a cost
Came on triumphant wing to bring
A challenge with sure sword swing.

As Kass defeated to rare skill,
Thunderous roar escaped his bill.
Aware that fate led him astray,
The fallen Lord fled in dismay.

A wayward Eyrie’s Ambition
Through Revenge he sought attrition
And from Greed he sought division
In the end, he failed his mission

Deadeye the Eyrie
by xxskyisfallingxx

In a smoky tavern,
Drinking fruitmallow grog,
Is a pirate Eyrie
Who leaves many agog.

Rather than plundering,
He enjoys games of chance:
Fleecing his opponents
In a delicate dance.

Monty and Grimtooth
And others like them
Can't hope to compete
With this gambling gem.

Just give up your gold,
Your points and dubloons,
Or this Bilge Dice master
Will win them before noon.

Though many call him cunning,
He's a really nice guy--
As long as you don't mind him
Bleeding your wallet dry

Eerie Eyrie
by neoreturnee

A month of spooky cheer,
Eyrie day is here,
Halloween is near!

Halloween Eyrie,
Magnificent and eerie!
Not dreary,
Nor teary,
Like the Grey Eyrie.

Happy Eyrie Day,
Let us not forget the spookiest of most,
An Eyrie ghost!

Celebrating a spooky month,
Eyrie Day and Halloween,
The Halloween Eyrie,
Grey Eyrie,
And Ghost Eyrie
Come to say,
Happy Eyrie Day!

The Elusive Emerald Eyrie Coin
by punk_rocker_pip

The Emerald Eyrie Coin is the rarest of the rare
It is a lovely green colour with just a touch of glare

Smooth and shiny, this rare item is sleek
On it is a wise Eyrie with an open beak

This coin is rarity one hundred
Where do you get one you wonder?

It restocks in Collectable Coins shop
To get one you must be fast on your laptop

You see this coin is labelled ultra rare
So you must restock with the utmost care

It is only seen in shops once in a blue moon
You must pay with Neopoints not Dubloons

If you’re lucky enough to get one from the Coin Shop
Hold it tight and be careful not to let the item drop

Then, You can put it safely in your coin album
Great for collectors although some may find it dumb

Not to sell it in for a large amount of Neopoints
The sum you’ll get will be sure not to disappoint

Realms of the Earth and Sky - Eyrie Day
by fox_confessor

Creature of legend and of old
Soaring high on the wings of an eagle
The courage of a lion in each dauntless step

Stretching the tips of its feathers
Climbing high into the Neovian sky
To the land of clouds where faeries once flew

Arching downward toward the dirt
Landing firmly on proud paws
To walk upon the earth as the wingless do

Brave and tender of heart
Above and yet among all great and small
Never boastful in its silent self-assurance

Rich in gold and rich in love
Guardian of priceless treasures
Yet trainer of the small and meek

Battle-scarred yet not battle-hardened
Ever ready yet ever the quiet optimist
Majestic in its self-possession

The best of both worlds in one body
The realms of earth and sky open wide
To the fearless Eyrie who is both proud and kind

An Ode to Cap'n Threelegs on Eyrie Day
by alittlechai

Do you have dubloons?
Time for training – get there soon!
Cap’n Threelegs waits.

But not for too long.
The finest swordsman to see!
Hurry, don’t delay!

A powerful beast,
And a treasure fanatic:
This Pirate Eyrie.

How did he lose it?
(The leg, of course, you wonder.)
Strange; what a puzzle.

Mysterious chap,
With no green around the gills,
Hardly any frills!

Just ask him. He’ll say:
Don’t bother with the Techo.
Come by for a day.

Swab the decks, count coins,
Can you fetch him a smoothie?
(He’s worked hard, you know).

And after some time,
You gain another level,
How very sublime!

Come again some time,
Especially those Eyries,
Free on special days!

Eyrie-volution
by exanomaly

A pet of indubitable prominence &
perhaps maleficent appearances,

of magnitudinal proportions, & with
undeniable mystEyrieousness –

their tousled tufts & crescent beak
a peerless combination,

brawny, bearded, & bonkers for
a balmy, equatorial vacation!

With origins inconceivable, &
frankly nonmathematical,

their rapid change from scales to fur
was evolutionarily quite drastical:

the horned, serpentine-skinned Cerpull
acquired dragonesque propentions,

metamorphosing its razor-rigid spikes
into a Tatsu’s more curvaceous-smooth dimensions …

but again! this species was struck in a manner so curious
by a magical force propelling Neopian magnificency –

the winged reptile amplified its mythological genesis
with a mutation that defied biologically-determined consistency …

& became a feathery Eyrie, the loftiest perch,
whose name evokes their nature, articulate & dignitary,

crowned by the sheen of their understated intellect,
as is evidenced by this poet’s conspicuously phenomenal vocabulary!

(note: this poem was transcribed impeccably from Diagram E, Appendix R in a flightless copy of “Everything Eyrie” by a humble Eyrie historian who shall remain nameless – for now!)

Eyrie Swordsman Outfit
by indulgences

She hefts her Sword in one strong arm,
And swings the fine, keen blade.
She’s quite a stunning sight to see,
A fierce and warlike maid.

Her Armour features plates of steel.
The arms are leather sleeves.
She wears the Armour expertly.
She’s surely not naive.

Her Trousers are of leather too,
And meant for brawls and duels.
She will not back down from a fight.
She’ll vanquish every fool.

Her Boots are light and durable.
They hop from left to right.
To see her fighting in these Boots
Is such an awesome sight.

And finally, her chestnut Wig
Is tied back with a string.
It’s absolutely marvellous,
And won’t budge with her swings.

This outfit is called Swordsman, yet
It’s meant for females too.
Beware the female Eyrie that’s
A swordsman through and through!
