Kacheek Day Special
Kacheek Day with Shoonee
by precious_katuch14
It's Kacheek Day once again,
A day to frolic and celebrate,
When no Kacheek in their right mind
Ever wants to be late!
There are parties, there's food,
And many, many smiles so bright.
But who brings upon these faces
Such a happy, elated light?
She soars upon the clouds
With bow and arrow in hand.
She cruises the winds
And ranges across the land.
This Kacheek draws her bow
And fires a heart-shaped shot.
Any trace of sadness
And anger she will blot.
A faerie has blessed her
Now she blesses others.
Shoonee will not stop till
Everyone's good to each other.
This Kacheek Day, she returns
Spreads her wings and takes flight.
She won't let any frown escape
Not one, not even slight!

Florin's Walk
by cookiez101
Conversations grew tired, he thought.
Shrivelled and brown, grey
like forb leaves outgrown.
Crowded company,
that bumbling and jostling chatter of town
quickly evaporating from the hum of loam
a gentle crackle of water
as Sunflower roots are quenched,
cheered by the bleating of Babaas.
The glowing yellow:
a gold mirror
so a smoking chimney
and clamouring factories retreat.
To the tree line perpendicular
a trail worn well and encapsulate
in boot-worn scars.
Every green, emerald, moss
that glazed eyes gloss or
careless feet snuff
a familiar, a welcome.
As he observes the known bloom, seed, crumple.
These cycles that encircle: of trees dormant
and grasses, forbs past.
He watches, waiting
for his friends to return.

Grove of the Ghost Kacheeks
by miraday
Where Neopia Central becomes
The Haunted Woods, the thickets
Giggle and old songs are sung in
The Grove of the Ghost Kacheeks.
In the daylight, the forest is quiet
But as twilight settles in, ghostly
Lights emanate from the Kacheeks
Like lanterns guiding passersby.
Like the living, the Ghost Kacheeks
Enjoy the game of their namesake:
Namely, Kacheek Seek, and mainly
In abandoned attics do they play.
I heard their games go on and on;
There’s infinite more places to hide
When one’s translucent and less
Confined by their physical binds.
The grove isn’t marked on any maps;
It’s hard to track its moves and rove.
You know you've found the Ghost Kacheeks
Once you hear them giggling in the grove.

Ode to Sir Cheekalot
by honeybee54321
A good defence
Better than a strong offence
Is what Sir Cheekalot would say
Helping new battlers
By providing a shield
Is the Sir Cheekalot way!
You can find them cheap
On the ol' Shop Wiz
If yours has gone astray
Some Neopians
Like to set
Their shield on display!
One for All
And an All for One
On this happy Kacheek Day!

The Breadmaster
by azn__kiddo
Taking a stroll along the bazaar
A familiar scent, far from bizarre
Wafts about as you turn to face
The warmth and charm of a well-known place
The smell of pies, puffs, pastries galore
Cakes, crepes, cookies in store
"The local bakery!" You start to rave
Inner desires you start to crave
There now stands a humble Kacheek
Frazzled about, quick on his feet
At breakneck speed, he works away
Baking all day for paltry pay
Beckoning you to come and taste
Sweet treats baked with love and haste
The simple passion of one so bold
To spread joy with each baked good sold
Give three cheers for our favourite Kacheek
Known to be a reliable shopkeep'
Never forget the words he may say
and "eata loafa breada day!"

Famous Kacheeks
by andypopo
Kacheeks are a rather tiny pet,
but full of personality do not fret!
To celebrate this splendid Kacheek day,
lets explore some of our favourites in a rhyming way!
Mr. Chuckles
Silly zany and slightly unhinged,
a fierce battle dome opponent, hard to win.
Seriously he wants to be taken,
a very hard task when a clown costume dressed he is in!
Florin
The Altadorian protector of crops,
mild mannered, selfless and kind.
Restoring Altar from plague and pestilence,
for this King Altador bestowed upon him hero status.
Sir Cheekalot
Handing out shields left and right,
arming Neopians in case of another Darigan fright.
Don't try to sell his armour, or he will call you quite dense,
and you will hear a lecture about the importance of defence.
Eliv Thade
No one knows what drove Eliv Thade insane,
his love for puzzles will never wane.
After 22 years how did I not see,
the words Evil Death quite chilling to me.
The Blue Kacheek Group
The craze is here, get your CDs, jackets posters and shirts,
careful or these stunners will your heart hurt!
Their tunes are timeless and still sell out shows,
their fandom, nothing larger will we know!
Well there you have it, 5 of my favourite Kacheek,
Much easier to see than a game of Kacheek seek!
Why not go and adopt one today?

Badeek the Kacheek
by atsypin
Badeek the kacheek hops around,
A cup of milk, and a jolly good cake,
Curranty and warm, he has found,
Tis a fine meal, that it would make.
He rushes out, into the meadow,
The soft grass brushes his round cheeks,
The sky is adorned with a lovely rainbow,
Parting the bush he takes a peek,
At the edge of grass, begins the woods,
There are lots of kacheeks here and there,
There are glowing mushrooms, the faerie food,
And climbing kacheeks in their gear,
To pick the hanging chestnuts high,
And make a bag of nuts to sell,
Pluck round Chokatos for creme pie,
flavorful berries in the dell,
Oh look, voidlberries, ripe and yum,
As many as you want to pick,
Also that tree is full of plums,
Careful, the raw ones make you sick,
The little basket's nice and heavy,
Now to have a smashing tea,
Not one neopoint, you can levy,
The meadow fruit is totally free.
But the meadow is protected well,
The kacheeks live here peacefully,
An ancient faerie magic spell,
Keeps out intruders and bullies.
Badeek the Kacheek lives and plays,
Like many other kacheek friends,
There's free entry on kacheek day,
Go, learn the community's trends.

The Legend of Eliv Thade
by sk8zac
The grinning ghost of Eliv Thade
A master of riddles
To which our respects should be paid
He was a smart rich Kacheek
A great writer of puzzles
A renowned author at his peak
He could answer any question
Until he met a riddle too hard
And fell into a great depression
This complex puzzle would be his bane
For years he tried his hardest to solve it
Until it finally drove him insane
Once a genius Kacheek with incredible skill
Now a mad ghost roaming his castle alone
A sight today that would give you a chill
We should celebrate his craft
But one must beware
To read all of his works would be daft
Reading his Grimoire of Thade would be most unwise
For those who have read it have lost their minds
And to read it yourself would ensure your demise

Of Greenery, of Dung, and Charlie Kacheek
by sarah_jackie
O! Meridell pastures; belly rounded with barley, spelt, rye, wheat so golden and hearty.
Furrowed land and fragrant thatches, sweetened thyme and strawberry patches.
Its splendours contrast to one fallow field - Meridell Dump, a BaBaa-barren weald.
O! Rubbish dump! Land of dung and potato sacks, kingdom o’ spoiled turnips and flax.
There, Charlie of the Kacheeks stands guard, Lord of stink and burnt meat so charred.
Dear thieves: Do you wish to steal a trinket, bric-à-brac, or vestment, ye delinquent?
Then take arms up with blue furred Kacheek, armed with pitchfork, tho he doth reek!
Ah! But if you ask sweetly, shyly, and coy, kindest Charlie will grant vittles to enjoy,
Of Treasures of half-eaten berries (still half-new!), spilled gravy - decadent as faeries.
Take squished tomatoes from Meri Acres Farm, have some gruel - it’s still warm!
Rowdy peasants, grab a bite! Charlie dishes out apple cores for all farmers to delight.
Ever each pet shall be served from the dump, whether gentilesse prince or old chump.
A bit of old barbed wire, as you please. For adventurous eaters, nosh on dung cheese.
Sing Charlie, sing! About gravel and old paper, our own beloved Rubbish Dump landscaper.
Natheless, legend speaks of a chance so rare, a paint brush might appear, or fae as fair!
Paint yourself motley, or be faerie blessed, Charlie Kacheek welcomes all his guests.
Merry is the frith, and castle too, al be that the Rubbish Dump is home to a happy few!

Kacheek Seek
by cassanthia
One, Two, Three, Four
Do you hear them rustling close?
Five, Six, Seven, Eight
Brushing against sticks and hiding in bricks
Nine, Ten, Eleven, Twelve
Count to twenty or simply peep
Thirteen, Fourteen, Fifteen...
Flowers under tempered feet
Sixteen, Seventeen, Eighteen
Silly laughs in kacheek-seek
Nineteen... Twenty
You take a look no pet in sight
Laugh surround- a funny fight
Was that a tail? Or an arm?
Was that their ear or a foot?
Masters of disguise...
You reach into a bush
"Getting closer!"
Your little kacheek giggles nearby...
