The Epic of Usuki v Quiguki

It was the night before convention day,
Just before midnight,
When the Usuki and Quiguki dolls
Staged their ultimate fight.

The hall lay still and silent,
The stalls were all prepared.
Every treasured toy stood gleaming
With perfectly-styled hair.

As if at an unheard signal,
Glass doors swung open wide,
Down from their shelves and to the floor
The dolls began to slide.

There came a cry, "To arms! To arms!
We'll strike out at our foe!
For through that curtain over there
Is where the foul Quiguki go!"

It was the Meridell Usuki King
Who led the collectibles to battle.
"Follow, friends, and we'll see a clash
That'll make every display case rattle!"

They marched in regimental rows,
'Cross the smooth, checkered floor.
First Brightvale Usuki with her lance
Then came Jeran with his sword.

The enemy was ready
And quite a sight to see.
Standing in military formation
Led by Traditional Welsh Quiguki.

The booming call rang out to "CHARGE!"
And the battle was away!
Even the Flight Attendant Usuki
Came to join the fray.

It seemed quite never-ending,
A miniature heroic war.
And soon every imaginable accessory
Lay strewn across the floor.

But suddenly, a light clicked on
At the far end of the hall,
And round the corner, yawning,
Peeked a security-guard Grarrl.

"What a mess!" he grumbled,
Looking at the fallen toys.
"Must've been a horde of raging Faellies
Judging by all that noise."

With care, he picked up every one
And returned it to its place.
He sighed, and returned Queen Fyora's wand
Before locking the display case.

Now all is quiet once again,
Soon it will be opening time.
But in the silence, Usuki Defender winks
And whispers, "We'll get 'em next time!"

I don't have just two or three.
My entire closet is full of dolls:
Usukis of all types, quite the haul!

Ballerina, Pop Star, Pretty in Pink,
Astrophysics Professor, without having to think.
Sabre-X, Rose, Schoolgirl too
How many Usukis belong to YOU?

They fill my closets, they line the shelves
I count them in dozens, in groups of twelve.
Tens, hundreds, thousands more...
But it's not enough! Let's go to the store!

Collecting Usuki Dolls

It is the 20th of Hiding today,
And I’m rushing to the marketplace.
I’ve got neopoints in hand, ready to pay,
Getting to the cashier is a rat race.

It’s the annual Usuki Doll Convention,
Where collectors show off their dolls.
The Magical Hair Usuki has extensions,
Playing inside the Dream Castle walls.

Then you can add on a car or jet ski,
Buying these extras gives me variety.
There’s a Ballerina and Bride Usuki -
So many to collect, I have anxiety.

There’s even a poet outfit to buy,
Or outfits for dressing in the summer.
The shop is running out of supply,
If I miss a stock, it’ll be a bummer.

I want the Queen Fyora doll the most,
Or maybe one of the School Teacher.
I’ve collected so many, one may boast,
Now if only I had that Bat Thing creature!

Annual Usuki Doll Convention

“Come one, come all! You are all in time for the Premiere!”, 
shouts an Usul with long, flowy hair and the full Usuki gear.
“Come one, come all! You will not get disappointed, I swear!”
she says, inviting every collector to join the colourful fair.
The Usukiland store sign flashes in a yellow, vibrant shade,
And the vendor inside gets ready for the new dolls parade.
Waiting for the store to open, you can find an excited crowd
happy to welcome new toys and other treats shouting loud.
The Usuki Doll Convention is the most loved, expected event
During the month of Hiding; every year is full of new content
To enjoy: from clothes to trinkets, dolls, and the famous gift bag
That plenty of attentive people would love being able to snag.
Rumours say that, on this day, rare stuff can be more easy to spot,
Which is a thing that collectors and casual buyers appreciate a lot.
If you don’t like to try and restock the whole day, or you don’t excel,
Just remember the gift bag can be also won at the Wishing Well!

At 12pm we catch a glimpse...

At 2pm we have a break...
Usuki icing on a cake!
At 3pm we went and tried...
Usuki ghost walk with a guide.
At 4pm I had a spend...

At 5pm, it's workshop time...
Usuki painting; mine's sublime!
At 6pm, we grab a drink...
Usuki pop, our glasses clink.
At 7pm? Karaoke!
Sang so much my voice got croaky.
At 8pm, it's time to leave...

It’s here, it’s here, it’s finally here
The day I’ve been waiting for.
It’s time for the Annual Usuki Doll Convention
I just can’t wait anymore.

I’ve saved all my money
I sold lemonade
I even mowed the lawn
Outside Illusen’s Glade.

“You have enough dolls”
My old parents said
“No way” I yelled
As I held up my head.

Which ones should I get?
Something old, something new?
Maybe a werewolf Usuki
The Snowager one too!

Last year I was late
Since I couldn’t decide
Which dolls I wanted
When I finally got inside

The rejects were gone,
The broken ones too
The one that was left
Only had the left shoe

This year I’ll be better
I’ll know just what I’ll want
Maybe the bakery set
With its little croissant

Or a spooky, scary one
I also like the faerie dolls
Oh, we’d have so much fun.

It’s time for me to go!
I still need to make my decision
