Brightvale Discovery Day

If you take a long stroll down the path,
A gleaming white castle will soon appear.
A town untouched from the war’s wrath,
Where the skies are sunny and always clear.

Brightvale was discovered many years ago,
Still ruled by Skarl’s brother, King Hagan.
From the castle’s tower, watching below,
Known to many as a very wise man.

There is a full city to see and explore;
Shops line the streets for you to peruse.
There’s the Scrollery, and the local bookstore;
The Wheel of Knowledge will certainly amuse.

Many Neopians call this great town home,
As it’s peaceful, lush and full of life.
Maybe you’ll pass Captain Brynn as you roam,
Or if in the Bogshot, some unusual wildlife.

Some of the wisest Neopians hail from here,
Professor Lambert and Sandro, to name a few.
If you wish to be enlightened, simply lend an ear,
As they retell stories and give an overview.

A Stroll Through Brightvale

Rolling hills and orange skies, 
Dirt paths with wagon tracks. 
Brightvale's perfect for a stroll, 
So grab your backpacks and your snacks. 
Cross the bridge from Meridell, 
Over the cobalt stream. 
Your first stop is the armoury, 
Brightly do the chainmails gleam. 

The Scrollery is where you'll find 
Knowledge from the eve of time. 
Parchments telling tales of old, 
Scholars with more research chime. 
Lineup stretches half a mile 
To spin the Knowledge Wheel. 
Caped Cybunny welcomes you as 
You bargain for a potion deal. 

Brightvale Books: not to be missed, 
For tomes and illustrated tales. 
Air mote, dust mote, mirror mote, 
The Motery's got a Brightvale Day sale! 
Onwards, then, to the glazier, 
The finest artisans in town. 
Windows arched, roses of glass, 
Be careful as you browse around. 

Fanfares sound and drawbridge lowers, 
Your stroll ends at the castle fair. 
The gates are open for festivities, 
Much laughter in the air. 
Jousters, jugglers, scholars bright 
Gather beneath the sandstone walls.  
King Hagan steps out with a smile, declares,
"A happy Brightvale Day to all!"

The Great Library of Brightvale

Ascend the steps of Brightvale Castle,
Don’t mind the grouchy guard.
You’re here to visit the Great Library,
At the end of the hallway, ‘cross the courtyard.

For hundreds of years since it's been founded,
Lie as many books as Neopia has ever known,
You find yourself by knowledge surrounded,
In this treasury of the mind, erected in pale stone.

You'll find books on every possible subject,
From Kreludan weaponry to the Shenkuu dialect.
The goal: to bring together all there is to know,
And the collection continues to grow.

What great minds have visited this place!
And even greater minds visit still.
No sound is to be heard in there,
Except for the rustle of pages,
and the occasional scribbling of a quill.

Alas, the time of closing is near,
(You have but wandered through one corridor)
Tomorrow’s another chance to wander anew,
To visit the Great Library is such an honour.

Hagan's Dilemma
