Peophin Day Special!

Pleasing Peophins: A Flamboyant Fusion
by _brainchild_

Those Peophins are oh so grand--
They're totally divine.
They're creatures of the sea, not land,
Yet one is surely mine.

A fusion of a horse and tail
Of mermaids oh so sweet,
The grace of Peo will prevail,
Impossible to beat.

They neigh like Ixis roaming o'er
The hills of Meridell,
Yet Peos swim to never bore,
Like Naia, oh so swell!

They come in many awesome hues.
Should I choose blue or something mellow?
Quite certainly, they will amuse
In shining bliss of sunshine yellow!

The pet who joins my family,
A fusion oh so mystical,
Will be a pleasing horse, you see---
They're so amazing, never dull.

Pleasant Peophins
by yzhen_121993

Denizens of the sea,
Swim ever so freely.
Tides high to low,
They go with the flow.

Shy and reserved,
Their energy conserved,
For the lucky souls,
Who encounter their atolls.

Rare and magical,
Sweet and fantastical.
Beautiful creatures
With pleasing features.

Gentle and kind,
A better friend you won’t find.
Loyal and suave,
Like Marak “The Brave”.

Praise the Peophin,
Today let’s go all-in,
Happy they’ll be,
I’m sure you’d agree.

Lustra the Golden Peophin
by myncithemonkey

Through the windy skies,
A golden Peophin soars,
Across the land she flies,
Enjoying the great outdoors.

Her luscious golden mane,
Glistening in sunlight,
The sky is her domain,
Observing from great height.

Lustra patrols the land,
Looking for certain prey,
The ones to reprimand,
Are Jetsams on this day.

She spots them below,
Treacherous foes indeed,
Diving into the flow,
She swims with grace and speed.

A great pursuit ensues,
The Jetsams try to flee,
But Lustra will not lose,
For she, too, knows the sea.

A Peophin Day Poem
by a_ramsell

On this wonderful Peophin Day,
Let's celebrate a 'pet who is regal,
Elegant, and brave,
With a mane that's quite beautiful.

This mysterious Neopet
Is quite graceful,
And also happens to be
Fiercely loyal.

A curious combination
Of fins and hooves,
You'll be impressed
With his underwater moves.

As we celebrate the Peophin today,
Let's clap our hands and cheer,
Because Peophins are the best Neopets!
Here's to another amazing year!

Peopatra on Peophin Day
by gumgum101230

Today we honor Peophin,
Full of elegance and grace,
Who live all over Neopia--
Even a desert place!

Far from oceans, rivers, or streams,
One manages to thrive,
Tending to the needs of Petpets,
And helping them revive.

She rises early, when it’s still dark,
To search upon the dune,
Looking to see if a Petpet
Lies lost beneath the moon.

Wadjets, Apis, Kepru, and Geb--
Peopatra helps them all!
Why don’t you visit her today,
At Sakhmet’s Petpet Stall?

Asterotia - Happy Peophin Day!
by imoutokoneko

My beloved aqua pony
With flowing mane so fair
You dazzle others when swimming
They cannot help but stare

Majestic and shimmering as always
Dancing in the bubbly mist
Your faerie wings glimmer brighter
Almost as if it's sunlight kissed

I cherish you and dote on you
My adorable little girl
It makes me very elated
When you smile as you twirl.

Peophins are perfection
by orlytheowl

There once was a magical creature
The creature was first of its kin
The creature had a very strong feature
The creature was called Peophin

The Peophin thrived in the water
And from birth knew how to swim
The Peophin was kind and no plotter
And its' features was a long way from grim

The Peophin looked like perfection
Like a mix of mermaid and horse
With nature it had a connection
And struck our hearts with an eternal force

It's Good to be a Peophin
by lil_reef

Swimming through the cerulean sea,
Thinking about its beautiful blue,
It fills her heart with joy and glee,
To think about the ocean's lovely hues.

Every day the water is different,
As the current swirls and moves it along,
These natural forces are quite indifferent,
To the buzzing of life, a daily song.

These forces balanced so delicately,
Hold an inner strength so fierce,
Brushing past her so elegantly,
As through the water she will pierce.

She enjoys the water flowing across her fins,
As through the waves she floats and swims,
She cannot help but to think and to grin,
About how lucky she is to be a Peophin.

Ode to Peophins
by laciyz

Unknown remains grace,
until one fixes their gaze
upon Venuquin, who with a beautiful face
guides lost sailors that lost their trace.

Unknown remains valour,
until one reads about the tidal bore
ridden by Marak, protector of Altador,
who brought justice from shore to shore.

Unknown remains tenderness,
until amidst Sakhmet's hotness
one visits Peopatra, whose kindness
helps stray Petpets find a new address.

Known is elegance and taste
to Peophins, bearers of jewelled crests
and a long mane so well-placed
that anyone who sees them feels blessed.

The Mutant Peophin Leviathan
by miraday

The beachfront was not austere earlier.
No, the weather must know the impending
Presence of the beast rising from the depths
To address those carelessly seafaring.

Deep in the trench where pressure binds,
The massive Mutant Peophin stays in stasis
Waiting for a disturbance to end its slumber—
Awaken the leviathan of the silent abyss.

The marine layer thickens above the water,
Torrential rain pours at the clap of thunder.
A whirlpool emerges and spills onto shore
As the Peophin emerges from the under.

Neopets gather on the sea cliffs above
To see eye to many eyes with the Peophin.
The Mutant’s voice booms as it pries,
“Who here leaves litter in my oceans?”

“Your flotsams and jetsams make it unsafe
For the Flotsams and Jetsams living here.
Shipwrecks ruin the Kiko’s coral reefs,
The Koi and Tuskaninnies steer clear.

The Lutaris and Krawks cannot explore
A seabed damaged by your debris,
And close to heart are the Peophins,
Who cannot safely traverse such seas.”

The seafaring Neopets, hearing the plea,
Apologized for their harmful ocean handling.
“Take this message to improve your pollution,”
The Peophin said, “As this is your last warning.”

The Mutant Peophin swirled another whirlpool:
From murky waters rose a mass of trash.
The Peophin spun its giant, clawed hooves
To make the vortex spit it out back onto land.

With a tremor, the Peophin submerged again,
Its tentacle mane grasping with vengeance.
The ocean’s protector returned to its abyss,
The Neopets above in awe of the leviathan.

Peophin Day
by fourin

Imagine galloping stallions undersea,
Manes like flames and electricity,
Wild, unbridled, without a care,
Excited, delighted by sea currents dare.

Elegantly natural hooves and tail,
Magnificent, powerful, like wind to sail,
Hooves used to move, gallop and trot,
Tail entails currents rise and drop.

Between their eyes, jewel of the sea,
Elliptic, bright, colour of fantasy,
Mystery face plate so delicate,
Intricately scintillates.

Above the ground inexplicably hovering,
Gravity defying, magically soaring,
Never stranded on land by a mystical force,
The ocean fan, the sand and sea horse.

The sunrise sea shines bright for this creature,
For their birthday today is the main feature,
This holiday's honouree, pony of the ocean,
The carefree steed of the sea, Peophin.

I Wish I Were a Peophin
by tanikagillam

Everyday she watches at the side;
Watches their tails splashing in the tide.
Watches the salt dripping from their manes;
Watches them enjoying their summer games.
How beautiful they look, so spirited and free.
How happy they look, swimming in the open sea.
There’s a time for work and a time for play,
But with such creatures, fun is always here to stay.

I wonder perhaps, do they long for change?
Just a taste of a different range?
Why walk or fly when you can swim under the sea?
It seems a little absurd to you and me.
But for a Peophin, such is life.
Swimming and splashing and causing strife.
Raised by the sea from a young whipper snipper,
Into a joyful creature with many a-flipper.

Surely though, they must want more?
To open a new world through ocean-barred door.
As I watch them, I think out loud.
How I’d love to be a Peophin, so beautiful and proud.
But as I stare at my fur-covered paw,
And my feet that only seem to work on the floor,
I realize that it’s something that won’t happen soon,
I’ll never be a ruler of a Peophin lagoon.

So I know things will always stay as they are,
My dreams are hopeless- by far.
But they always come true in the end don’t they?
Maybe, just maybe, I’ll be a Peophin one day.

Until then,
Everyday she watches at the side;
Watches their tails splashing in the tide.
Watches the salt dripping from their manes;
Watches them enjoying their summer games…
