Flotsams floating in the sea,
Splashing wet fins merrily.
Diving down beneath the waves,
Exploring underwater caves.

In Maraqua most Flotsams dwell,
Though they travel with the tidal swell.
Dangerous Jetsams they must evade,
Or else they risk being preyed.

Some have moved to neighboring lands,
Following the movement of shifting sands.
In their new homes they grudgingly live,
With prizes and plenty of snark to give.

Plesio of Tyrannia runs a mediocre wheel,
He’d rather be anywhere else, you feel.
His glory days as Captain are gone,
Until again the times of war must dawn.

The Underwater Chef is very stressed.
Mumbo Pango has him quite hard-pressed,
To deliver ingredients with much haste,
All of which must be of exquisite taste.

You’ll never find a Flotsam far from water,
They seem to prefer where the weather’s hotter.
Whether at work or at play,
A Flotsam’s smile is sure to brighten your day.

Underwater Chef the Flotsam

Happy Flotsam Day,
To a tireless cook,
Never time to play,
Or to read a book.

In his early years,
He cooked for royalty,
Skills beyond his peers,
With zeal and loyalty.

Now on Mystery Island,
He serves Mumbo Pango,
Waving with a smile and,
Asks you for some mango.

You bring the ingredients,
They are just as he sought,
For Mumbo isn't lenient,
Flaws punished by Cooking Pot.

Useful Flotsams

There once was a Flotsam named Jim
His most favorite thing was to swim
He swam all day long with his best friend Tim
Where they swam was based on a whim

Once they swam to a beach
It was further away than they had ever reached
They accessed it through a breach
Here they found someone to teach

He couldn't swim and his name was Bart
He was afraid from the very start
Piece by piece he learned the art
Now he has water forever in his heart

Gliding through the waters, 
From all across the land. 
There is a beautiful creature, 
Who likes to look at but avoid the sand. 

Submerged beneath the waves, 
Is where the Flotsam’s prefer to be. 
Swimming, playing and having fun. 
Living life totally carefree. 

They can sense when there is danger, 
And when they need to move fast. 
Being a smoothed skin Flotsam, 
Must be a blast! 

So today we would like to celebrate, 
The water loving pet we all adore. 
We can’t wait to party, 
And sail off from the shore.

Flotsam day

Flotsam day means the wettest party of the year
This year we celebrate in Kiko lake bay
We would like to make things decadent if we may?
So get ready to celebrate once the flotsam appear! 

They’ll jump out of the water in group
Jetsam will be in the bay with celebratory food
But don’t worry they’ll be enemies for good!

Did you know the tiny agile Flotsam can live on land?
They can even breath the ice cold terror mountain air!
Which is honestly a surprise since it’s something that is for me something that is hard to bear!
I wonder if they can even live in the lost desert sand?

One of the most famous Flotsams will maybe even attend!
So maybe we’ll see Plesio, the ever so apathetic host of the Wheel of Mediocrity
As little joy as possibly is this guys policy!
So if he parties on flotsam day, is it real, or just pretend?

An Underwater Flotsam

Slippery flippers glide through the water,
Whether fresh, or brackish, or even saltwater,
Keeping cool as the sun gets even hotter,
Under the refreshing, chilling current.

Water splashes along land's rigid shore,
As this flotsam races along the river's floor,
"Why?" You ask... well we're not really sure,
But maybe to best the rapids of the river.

The light dances through the fluid form,
Of the water that transforms and reforms,
Creating a visage very out of the norm,
For the creatures of the river to gaze upon.

Land dwellers may have stars and clouds,
But they also have so many noisy crowds,
And noises are so ear-piercingly loud,
When not under water's comforting shroud. 
If you haven't already you should give it a try,
Because only then will you truly understand why,
Flotsam day is so truly special.

The Poor Underwater Chef: A Flotsam's Stressful Assignment

Mumbo Pango needs a meal,
So fine food must be served.
Very ill is how I feel—
My vision's turning blurred.

I, the Underwater Chef,
Have such a gruesome duty.
My ears hurt; I am going deaf
From noise made by that foodie.

Has that monster ever heard
That patience is a virtue?
His foul demands are quite absurd;
My heart is feeling blue.

The Neopets can never find
Ingredients with speed,
So I'm about to go blind
From stress that I don't need.

I wish I had a better job,
Yet that dream won't bear much fruit.
I sit in the corner and sob
As I'm waiting for the loot.

Flotsam Day Fun

It's Flotsam Day, 
let's head to the beach!
Down to the cay,
to the coral and reef.
Be sure to bring sunscreen,
and snacks for our lunch
in a Green Picnic Hamper
with some Myncibean Punch!

Looks like everyone's here 
for this special occasion,
let's give Flotsams a cheer,
and a standing ovation!

The Wockys are wading, 
the Kacheecks catching sun,
I see Shoyrus out sailing,
full of Flotsam Day fun!

The Skeiths are all splashing,
as some Tonus get tan,
the Bori are basking,
true Flotsam Day fans!

I see Kikos in kayaks,
and Jetsams on jets,
I can say without bias
Flotsam Day is the best!

Every day in the water,
be it ocean or pool,
as the summer gets hotter,
Flotsam sure do stay cool!

And when Flotsam Day's over, we must pack up our stuff,
but Flotsam stay and remind us, that if things get too though,
there's a place we can go where the fun never ends, 
just come down to the shore, and splash some more with our friends!

The Flotsam Dance

Bubble, bubble goes the water
as the Flotsam breathes to the surface.
She bathes in the sunrays for a moment,
she enjoys the warmth, then suddenly she jumps!
High in the sky does she soar,
almost touching the clouds.
Spinning her tail and turning her fins,
she gracefully splashes back into the sea.
Out in the distance there are more flotsam,
swimming towards the shore, stopping next to her.
They all sing together and jump, arching down,
returning to the sea from whence they were bound.

I am a former Maraquan defender
True Maraquan spirit, I was no pretender
I defended with zest
And as you probably guessed
Opponents were left bruised and tender

Although I was living out my dreams
Fighting for victory against other teams
My love for a brawl

As drama ripped us apart at the seams

Without me, Maraqua just isn't the same
My departure has left the group tame
I wasn't fired
I've simply retired
