Today we all celebrate, 
The Acara’s from all across the land. 
The celebration will be amazing, 
There is so much planned. 

This is because we love Acara’s 
As they are fluffy and love to cuddle. 
A friendly loving companion, 
Who likes nothing more than to snuggle. 

They like to run on the land, 
Playing games and having fun. 
Giggling and laughing, 
All day under the glorious sun. 

The Acara’s also like to be in the water, 
Swimming amongst the kelp. 
Splashing and diving, 
Giving out and excited yelp. 

They are very loyal, 
And will stay by your side. 
No matter the situation, 
They take it all in their stride. 

So thank you to the Acara’s,
For being the best of friends. 
We will celebrate this day, 
Until it comes to and end.

Alice the Acara

I'm Alice the Acara,
I am painted Ghost.
Terrified shrieks at me,
Are what I hate the most.

I love eating spooky foods,
They taste quite delicious.
Bat cookies are my favorite,
But people judge me so vicious.

I don't want to eat your brains,
Or haunt you in your sleep.
It's really just a silly myth,
I feel like the black sheep.

So on my way to this Acara Day,
Please don't run for cover.
I came to celebrate just like you,
I'm not a fighter I'm a lover!

The Acara - a wonderful pet

Also has a witty mind
She makes a noble, graceful royal 
Painted halloween, she’s spooky loyal

When brushed with ice, she’s a frozen storm
Unwavering friendship and her heart stays warm
And If you go to paint her gray 
Your sadness she will keep at bay

So let’s celebrate this wonderous pet
A truer soul you have not met.
She deserves our recognition 
And in your group, she’ll make a great addition!

A Brief History of the Acara

Mipsy, Fauna, Ylana, Masila,
Fernypoo, Roberta, and Vira.
Who may they be,
One might ponder?
Why, they are famous Acaras!

It has been said, 
And you may have read,
That they were once known as Tigrens.

While their history is a bit of a mystery,
One shouldn't doubt their authenticity.

They are a playful bunch,
Who like to live by the sea.
They are, in fact, an aquatic Neopet,
Though furry they may be.

They enjoy a hunt
Of the treasure kind,
That sometimes takes them underwater.
But being wet, they do not mind,
In fact, the wetter, the better!

On the beach, Gormball they play
Play, can they, all day.

Acaras come in all colours,
like Darigan, Royal, Faerie, and Blue,
Just to name a few!
But if you prefer Jelly or Cloud,
They come in those too. 

There is an Acara for everyone,
And owning one is lots of fun!

They are available to create all year round,
But consider adopting one from the pound!
An Acara is sad all alone,
Like all pets, they need a home.

Acara or Tigren, whatever the name,
They are a great Neopet, all the same.

Magic on Acara Day

Where we make the impossible happen in a blink,
Where we turn sunlight and rain into snow,
And celebrate Acaras, what do you think? 

Acara... Uh, Abracadabra! That's how it goes,
During this show, you possibly cannot forget,
That little something everyone knows, 
Abundant admiration for this special Neopet!

Magic all around - up, down, to the right,
A round of applause for a trick or two,
Turning daylight into an early night,
You'll be hypnotized by the time we're through

Ah, who am I kidding... There is no magic show,
No tricks up my sleeves, no acts to master,
Even despite wishing I were a pro...
I merely wanted your attention faster

So I could introduce you to these special pets,
These wonderful, sweet creatures I see,
Of my lies I will have zero regrets,
After this day, I'm sure you'll agree

Thank you for coming to our not-magic show,
Even if the only magic I could convey, 
Was the existence of Acaras, as you now know,
I'm wishing you a happy Acara day!

Acara Aquatic Festival

Acaras really are
Quite agile as they dive deep into the 
Undulating, cerulean sea.
Acaras also enjoy looking at the bowlas, who
Traverse the fathomless waters
In order to desperately escape the Acara's
Competent fishers.

Fierce fishers and adept swimmers, Acaras are
Equally as happy on land as in water.
Sleek, thick fur keeps them warm
Traveling down to the sea's crevices.
Insulated, long horns on the Acara's head insure
Very high speeds in water, faster than the Jetsam.
As you can see, if you want an active pet,
Leave it to Acaras to be the best choice.

Granny Hopbobbin and the Vandagyre in the Pound

Once upon a time, in a land renowned,
Granny Hopbobbin visited the Neopets Pound.
The Acara was researching her Charity Corner list,
And was searching for Neopets who needed an assist.


She knew the Pound was where Neopets were most lonely,
And she aimed to help them be happier, only
She needed to find one with the saddest tale
So Neopians would donate on a grander scale.


She wandered the aisles, seeing Myncis and a Jetsam,
And wished she could give to all of them some.
But on a young Vandagyre her eyes came to rest.
"Hi!" he said cheerfully. "You look stressed."


"Stressed?" Granny was surprised to hear.
"You're the one in the Pound! What have I to fear?"
"Don't ask me," said the Vandagyre, "but I know
You look like you're not happy with the status quo."


"Why, that's true," Granny said, "Helping is my quest.
I seek donations, and use them to make others blessed.
It's not glamorous, I seek no glory.
But what about you? What's your story?"


The Vandagyre said, "My story, unfortunately, is bleak.
My owner abandoned me after just one week.
But luckily, the Pound is a pretty nice place.
I get three meals a day, and all of this space!"


Granny was taken aback. It wasn't much space.
How could this Neopet be happy in this place?
But she knew she could take this Vandagyre higher.
So she asked, "Is there anything that you desire?"


The Vandagyre thought, and with a sigh,
He said, "You know - I like pie!
I could probably use some more towels...
Oh! And I'd love a cardboard box that growls!"


"Poor dear," sighed Granny, as her heartstrings pulled,
"You are the one to be shown to the world.
You will incite donations, people will opt in,
And who knows? Maybe we can get you adopted!"


"Adopted?!" The Vandagyre could scarcely believe.
"I had no idea! That would be a feat to achieve!"
And together, the granny and the young child
Felt hopeful about their strategy - and they smiled.


So Granny left the Pound, a plan in her brain,
Longing to ease the Vandagyre's pain.
The poor Vandagyre had given her a breakthrough.
Who might be his new owner? How about you?
