Grey Day

A gloomy cloud,
Over your head,
No fun allowed,
Feeling quite dead.

The kind of day,
No joy around,
Everything's grey,
Despair abound.

Feeling hopeless,
Devoid of life,
A diagnosis,
Of dreary strife.

When will the sun,
Light up the day,
Restore the fun,
Expel the grey.

The Grey Evil Fuzzle

Grey pets and petpets alike,
On their faces, a somber expression.
Cheering them up is a difficult undertaking,
How could you deal with a mood, so sullen?

However there is one thing,
That does actually looks joyful,
With a grin from ear to ear,
it is the Grey Evil Fuzzle.

But Neopians, beware of
That happy looking smirk!
Because behind that smile,
Are evil plans on the lurk.

Maybe that is why,
Grey creatures are hard to satisfy.
They might have seen
What the the similarly coloured Fuzzle does,
behind the scenes

Gloomacinths: Blooms So Timid and Glum

Among the cheering blooms of song,
A loner has to frown.
The Gloomacinth, pose never strong,
Drags every spirit down.
Its petals bear no hues of grace—
Instead, the plant is grey.
While others cause all hearts to race,
The Gloom shall dampen days.

While yellow flowers sing with joy,
The Gloom says not a word.
Perhaps the Glooms are very coy,
So that's why they're deterred.
Their timid nature shall create
Pure silence from these plants.
Meanwhile, others compensante—
The Song Flowers shall dance.

Despondent, Glooms shall droop their heads—
No energy is theirs.
Their shyness leaves their spirits dead—
They always fail to care.
Speech from them succumbs to fear
Which they can't overcome.
Alas, their song won't travel near—
Their moods are always glum.

Just A grey Day

Today the strangest feeling, 

Has whoosed across the land. 

The sunshine has disappeared, 

And now everything looks rather bland. 

 

The clouds have changed in color, 

From tranquil blue to grey. 

The Neopets are gloomy, 

Not wanting to run, laugh and play. 

 

When will this day be over? 

When will the mood finally lift? 

Grey day is so somber, 

Everything moving in a sluggish drift. 

 

But the Neopets are hopeful, 

That tomorrow will be a brighter day. 

Everything will look better, 

And not boring, tiring grey!

The dull colours of grey,
That blend of black and white,
A sadness clear as day,
Yet their spirits shine bright.

They may not smile,
Not even at the best of times,
They may mope a while,
and no longer be in their primes.

However, grey is great,
Their emotions are clear,
Carrying the worlds weight,
You can imagine their fear.

They weep for others,
They care for all,
They may not have the answers,
But they stand tall.

An expression of my despair
But look a little closer
There's more to it, I swear

Grey is the ambience
Of storm clouds and rain
Sipping hot borovan by the fireplace
With an open book to entertain

Grey is moderation
At an impasse with two extremes
Not black, nor white
But bridging the gap in between

Grey is the wisdom
In an Elderlygirl Ixi's hair
As she recounts her many tales
And lessons to beware

Grey is progress
The difference you see
From an eroded wooden surface
To a shiny, steel gleam

Grey is my color
And all of the above
Sometimes I grow weary
But there's a lot of me to love

Everyone can a feel like they are in doubt
When painting a pet and the right paint to choose
First you want a bird but then you want a trout
With this little lesson you can never lose

If you're ever in doubt, then just paint it grey
It's inbetween and a mixture of all
Painting in grey is truly child's play
Makes every pet look like a doll!

I have a pet in this very shade
He might look upset, but really he's not
His color makes the other paints fade
Eventide, blue, red or robot

Grey pets are not really that very sad
It might look unhappy, but that's just it's face
Confusing emotion with appearance is bad
Happiness is something grey pets can ace!
