So get your favorite earthy tones
for Illusen's Day has arrived this year
We'll party like there's no tomorrow in
A celebration full of laughs and cheer

Gather cute petpets and Cheery Blossoms
for this event of the spring season.
Party like no one is watching for
Illusen herself it he reason.

We'll feast on cream cookies,
rose shakes, and flower cakes
for one of Illusen's great talents
is her ability to bake.

So let's celebrate Illusen
and all things that can grow
while we groom with rain water shampoo
while awaiting our Leaf Taco.

Illusen Day Between Rivals

Hidden deep in the dense forest,
Underneath Meridell shade,
Lives Illusen the Earth Faerie
Within her secret Glade.

Today she zooms around her dwelling.
What’s all the commotion?
Could she be brewing up a batch 
Of her Honey Potion?

Then suddenly, a guest arrives
In a poof of mauve smoke.
Jhudora’s grand arrival stood out
Against the ancient oak.

“What do you want?” Illusen asked
Suppressing her frustration.
“I am busy with preparations
For today’s celebration!”

Jhudora cackled, “Of course you are!
You’ve been working since fall!
That’s why I brought an offering:
An Illusen Faerie Doll!”

In Meridell's glade you can hear her humming.

Illusen, the fair and wise.
a lovely earth faerie, with sparkling green eyes,
that watch over the forests, rivers, and skies,
keeping them safe from evil's decries.

It's on this day that all Neopets sing,
from hard-working peasants to the grumpy Skeith king,
It's Illusen Day, hip hip hoorah!

To see her shine in the light of dawn,
We celebrate; no time for gloom,
when the Lady of the Glades appears upon

Illusen her name is, her domain's these lands,
No fairer Faerie ever walked Meridell,
So, for her, let us join our hands
And sing her praises loud, and sing them well!

Before Darigan's peace, before Darigan's war,
She came to spread her joy upon the ground,
Leaving behind a kingdom high and far,
For the sake of us, all around

Let us thank her, again and again,
We serve her in greatest pleasure,
Even if that noble day comes when
She pays one in her radiant treasure

In those days, we serve her still,
In days of strife and days of peace,
Performing tasks according to her will,
So Meridell may be at ease

Again, we sing! We thank her so,
O Lady of the Glade, the leaf-winged one,
Let us praise you before we go,
And enjoy that praise even after we've gone

Perched atop that is a stick

This year, in lieu of a trade
Why not try something homemade?
Like bake flower cakes

To share in her glade.

You could go the extra mile
And imitate her style.
A leafy dress to wear,
Or green streaks in your hair,
Is worth a flattered smile.

You could compose her a song,
It wouldn't be wrong.
Give her flowers you grew
Or a portrait you drew.
The list is quite long.

But the best way to please,
I'm sure she'll agree:

is Illusen's cup of tea!

The Kind Illusen

Once a Faerie nestled in Faerieland,
Now calls Meridell her homeland,
Tucked away in her private glade,
Twice a day, seeking Neopian aid.

You can’t miss her, with her red and green hair.
And unlike Jhudora, she’s not here for a scare.
Her glade is inviting, with shamrocks abound.
The beauty of her home will astound.

Rival to that green and purple Jhudora,
Surrounded in an evil aura.
I much prefer to assist Illusen first,
Failing Jhudora’s quest is far worst.

Many people assist her for an elusive prize,
A weapon sought out by those battling guys.
Many come close, but fall short by time.
Restarting from quest 1, it’s time to climb.

On this Illusen Day, you can celebrate in style,
With food and drinks, it’s worthwhile.
Try a taste Illusen Day Pizza or Cupcake.
It’s a festival you ought to partake.

You’d sworn you had seen,
A mythical faerie
Floating through the trees.

Deep in the glade
You’re seeking a quest
‘Don’t worry, she’s kind!’
You’d heard from the rest.

Locks of auburn hair,
A dress of green,
For a Fire Mote
She says she’s keen

To the marketplace,
To the bazaar.
“Visit ‘Brightvale Motery’-
It isn’t too far.”

Rummaging amongst the shelves
One Fire Mote is left!
You take your prize to the counter,
The store puts you in debt.

You carry out your shopping bag 
And head down to the glade
“Yay! You’ve completed my quest!”
You’ve received Illusen’s Blade!

Ode to Illusen

I heard of a faerie from a land far away, 
She requires many objects for an unknown reason,
She will reward you if her word you obey, 
But careful- she will dismiss you if faced with treason.

If you didn't know better, you might be mistaken, 
You might make the error of thinking of Jhudora. 
If it was her quests that you were given, 
You know a thing or two of her terrifying aura. 

Illusen, however, is a kind-hearted faerie, 
In her glade, she nurtures all living things. 
If you help her fifty times- how extraordinary! 
Her staff you shall inherit- 
It's said to defeat even kings! 

She holds forbidden knowledge and will not spill the tea,
Some say she is too thoughtful to even utter the words, 
The secret of Jhudora's evil deeds- will it ever be set free? 
If she's as much of a fairytale princess as she looks, she might have told the birds.
