I can hear the music and see them dancing
I can’t help but glancing
What a funny gecko

I can’t help to think of the pirate, always so serious
Dancing wildly under this disco ball
In a maraquan dance hall
It looks delirious

I bet they got great moves
Flexibly as they are
If it were a competition, they would sure get far!
They are great companions, that sure proves!

Dance with your techo, whatever their paint
Let your robot dance the robot
I bet their moves take the jackpot!
Owning one of these cuties, isn’t for the faint!

Doctor Death's Lament

The pound isn’t such a bad place,
At least, not as far as I can see.
We have plenty of rooms,
And other things included in the fee.

There’s food and warm beds,
Soft plushies for the little ones.
We sing songs together at night,
And always try to have a little fun.

I pretend to be mean,
To be horrible and unfair.
Otherwise we’d be overrun,
Everyone would abandon their pets here.

It’s not such a hard job,
Pretending to be the bad guy.
If it helps a few stray Neopets,
As they are struggling to get by.

So stop by our place sometime,
Come and have a look around.
A grizzly old Techo is hardly the only one,
You’ll find at the local pound.

Techo Mountain

We shall never escape your gaze, 
Your eyes shut by their stonework.
Yet just beneath, the rocky facade
Twists and rises into a clear smirk.
We curiously imagine the older days.

Perhaps you were a Techo Colossus
Whose tired frame came for a rest
Atop of Mystery Island’s mountain.
There you remained, a relic manifest,
A volcano shaped like a Techo in stasis.

Or you were a subterranean beast,
Who moved the tectonic plates aside
Simply for a view of the Island sunset.
The earth you moved was petrified,
Creating the landmark you creased.

Or maybe you were a tiny little Techo,
Whose heroic deeds were eternalized
By a proud people into a grand statue.
They may have provided no reason why,
But you were immortalized as a volcano.

The origin of Techo Mountain eludes us all,
Though there is one aspect we are certain.
The colossal Techo is unwaveringly watchful,
Its stony expression loving and determined
Every morning sunrise and every nightfall.

The Terrible Techo Fanatic

I'm at a game of Yooyuball,
Seeing who can best them all,
When I hear a piercing sound.
Startled, I look all around!

Behind me, an annoying dude
Is screaming, being very rude!
This Techo's shout shall pierce my ears
So I'm unable to hear!

I wave my arms right in his face.
"You are a complete disgrace!
The whole crowd will be deaf tonight.
Stop such noise—it's not your right!"

He ignores me and keeps at it.
I feel like throwing a fit
Because this monster's screams won't cease.
Could he tone it down, at least?

Eventually, I leave the game.
Yooyuball is not the same
When there are most shocking shouts
That make me want to get out.

Celebrate Techo Day!

Techos are magnificent Neopets.
With long tails and agile frames.
It’s a special time for them today!
So it’s time to celebrate with fun and games.

The Cheese Maker with his feathery hat 
Will give the Techos a cheese to roll.
They all giggle and laugh as cheeses dive left and right.
SLAM!
Turns out cheeses aren’t so easy to control.

“Free Training for all Techos!”
A message from the wise, old Techo Master.
Techos swarm to learn new skills
And come out being stronger and faster.

Dr_Death once was a cheerful, joyous Techo.
Always happy to help abandoned Neopets find a new home.
Though over crowding at the pound made him devastated.
Seeing all the neopets alone.

Techo day will soon come to an end.
As the party is almost done.
But one thing these Techos know
Is they’ll never stop having fun!

The Techo Thief, Kelland

In the very middle of Altador,
among the statues in the heroes' hall,
there is a statue of a thief,
standing eternally proud and tall.

To many it is quite strange
that a thief can stand with a knight.
But a thief is not all that he is:
he tried to help solve the poor's plight.

In life, Kelland the Thief
was named a protector of Altador
for his efforts in relocating wealth
from the rich to the needy poor.

For to Kelland the only real law
was to not be anyone's fool:
Don't let yourself be taken advantage of
and don't let them make you their tool.

So for Techo Day be sure to visit
the Heroes' Hall to see his art.
But best be careful if you go,
lest he steal his way into your heart!

Techos Are Great

The Techo is quite a magnificent pet!
I'll prove to you it's one of the best!
Just look at it from its squiggly tail,
To the smile that says, "I won't fail!"

Lets go through the many Techos one by one,
To show that they are more than their sum.
There's the Water Techo, a vision in blue,
All the little details, that swirling tail too!

There's the Island Techo, with the white tattoos,
Whose grass skirt adds a touch of frou-frou!
Then there's the oh-so-scary Halloweeen Techo,
Whose mummified look makes screams echo!

Finally, there's Techo that's the grooviest of all,
In those cool shades, they're the bell of the ball!
With all these truly amazing Techo colours,
Isn't it any wonder that they're so popular?
