The Usuki Doll Convention is here!

Better known by the name Usukicon,
this annual convention is a showcase
of all the great, new Usuki designs
soon to hit your marketplace.

Meet the other Usuki enthusiasts
on the opening day of the event.
Breathe in the joy and anticipation;
you'll surely be glad you went!

So you best be sure to stop by
and take in all the wares:
the new dresses, the cute shoes,
and the ever-swappable hairs.

But make sure before you leave
to walk to the tables and snag
your very own collection of treats:
your Usukicon Y20 Goodie Bag!

The Uber Usukicon Caper

I race down to the oh so grand
Usukicon, my points in hand,
To buy a doll gorgeously swell
And get a goodie bag as well.

Once I dash into the store,
A myriad, choices galore,
Of dressed-up friends stand next to me.
I sprint around the shop with glee!

Which Usuki shall be mine?
Jerdana looks simply divine.
Astronomer, class shining through,
Would be a stellar option too!

Eventually I must decide.
Hundreds sitting by my side,
Air Faerie is the one I buy.
Above the other ones she vies!

As I leave, I hear a shout.
"You'll love this goodie bag, no doubt!"
I rush over to claim my prize
And gasp at the contents inside.

A beautiful Usuki stares
Into my eyes. Her stunning hair
Complements her dress so fair.
The other loot is barely there.

Reflecting on the day of joy,
I had a blast with charming toys.
I can't wait for next year's Con,
A neat event of which I'm fond.

The Day of Usukicon

That time of year has come around;
The wonderful day where joy abounds --
You say you don't know what's going on?
This glorious day -- USUKICON!!!!!

Frenetic fans in line jump with glee,
Checking for notices on the marquee;
Spotting a Usuki that makes them fawn
And buying it to remember this Usukicon.

Panels of chatter about the latest model
Get so intense the crowd might dawdle.
Impatient fans call for them to move on --
Hurry up and finish, there's more Usukicon!

There's fighting over a rare design,
Bidding until one must finally decline
The victor, a legal automaton --
Forget it pal, it's Usukicon.

Finally, an announcement calls
Sighs and cries echo from the halls
The crowd trudges out, woebegone;
And thus ends another Usukicon.

At the Usuki Convention

The Usuki Convention’s
that joyous time of year
when collectors from
across the lands gather
to browse, shop, and cheer
Get ready to run in and grab
toys from Usukiland shelves
If you happen to be quite
slow or weak, then I hope
you brace yourselves!
Take a look around
and admire each toy,
wonderfully made to
be cared for and enjoyed. 

My favorite thing about the
convention is how
(as crazy as it can be),
no matter where you look
someone’s big smile you’ll see.

Pros(e) and Cons of Usukicon

A brand new Usuki set’s
what I aim to get at 
the Usuki Convention. 
I saved NPs for a year
for words I long to hear:
“Thanks! You’re the best!”
The lines may be long 
but my will is very strong
Thus, to Usukiland I go
I enter the crowded store
and begin to explore
Soon, I spot the Usuki set!

As soon as she sees me
My Neopet leaps excitedly
and thanks me with
a great big grin.

I hide a bruise on 
my right knee from 
somebody tackling me 
in pursuit of that gift. 
With my pet filled with glee
it was a worthwhile injury
I suppose Usukicon
is just not for everyone.

an exciting time for all to 
pick out new boxed, 
inanimate friends. 
I hope you have enough
NPs stored in your purse
Coming in with pets and 
empty pockets is the worst. 
Whether you come to
UsukiCon to shop for
your Neopet or yourself
you will certainly find a 
new and precious find
up on an Usukiland shelf. 
You are bound to have fun

an event that always brings

Annual Usuki Doll Convention

Clutching her doll tightly,
Sara made her way through the crowd.
Dodging Neopets as she walked,
through a room that was quite loud.

Looking around as she passed,
booths full of many things.
There were Usuki doll themed food items,
Usuki doll clothing and even a few rings.

Sara love the Annual Usuki Doll Convention,
there was just so much to do and see.
She will probably buy a few clothing items,
and a new doll or three.

Sara's favorite part,
of the entire day.
Is seeing the newly released Usuki Dolls,
that are for purchase and display.

Usuki Bow Shield

This lovely scarlet shield is shaped
Just like a bonny bow.
It sings and hums with inner force.
It has a ruby glow.

Despite the fact that it’s a shield,
It’s made to glitter bright.
It twinkles in the morning light.
It shimmers every night.

More beautiful than functional,
This shield is gorgeous stuff.
It’s shiny and illustrious.
It’s hardly strong or tough.

This shield is not so practical,
But buy it for your pet!
It looks so pretty when adorned,
The nicest trappings yet!

Usuki Prophecy

I scream and sweat until I sit
Quick am I to look about
And peer in darkness until I find
The large display of my Usukis
That look back so perfectly
Unlike the dream that took my sleep

I dare not wink and lay awake
and stare in darkness at the place
Where all my dolls lay in wait
Until the lovely morning break

Magical Hair & Prom Queen
Beaming bright into my sight
Sets of Sushi and Shipwreck
I dare not look away in fret

That they may one day disappear
For that day might soon grow near
Because my dreams foretell my fear
Of the day my heart will tear
