A Nimmo's Lilypad

The Nimmo begins in a cluster of eggs,
One of many, waiting to hatch.
Squidgy white with a black center dot,
Clinging together in a single batch.

When each tiny egg bursts open,
A newborn Nimmo arises from the shell.
A big bobbly head with a little tail,
Eyes googly and skin like gel.

The baby Nimmo treads through water,
As two back legs begin to sprout.
It’s not long before two more follows,
Four legs now and ready to come out.

His first leap onto a lilypad,
Was unfortunately rather clumsy.
But he tried twice and again,
With ever increasing glee.

Finally sitting atop the floating leaf,
He looks around from his handpicked throne.
His brothers and sisters have not yet arrived,
Patiently he waits but, for now, he’s alone.

Ode to the Mutant Nimmo

The mutant Nimmo:
An underappreciated color combination.
It looks like a Nimmo
Went through a horrible mutation.

This Nimmo is unlike others
In terms of physique.
Most Nimmos are skinny
But this one is unique.

This chubby friend is easy to obtain
If you have the neopoints on hand.
When you spend the neopoints on this potion,
You’ll make your Nimmo not so bland!

This color came out on Mutant Day
In the year eighteen, day twenty-fine of the month of hiding.
It was the best color released that week
And it the new color came in smiling.

The Nimmo is chubby
And covered in spikes.
I think for a mutant,
It’s a combination a lot like.

His colors are blue and orange
Both are complements to each other.
The colors work really well with together
As they seem to fit one another.

When thinking of what color to make your Nimmo,
You don’t need to use a paint brush!
Use a transmogrification potion but don’t worry,
The color isn’t going away so there’s no rush.

Ned The Nimmo

Ned the Nimmo spent a lot of time alone,
he didn't quite fit in.
He wasn't like any other Nimmos he knew,
though he always wore a giant grin.

Ned didn't like sitting on lily-pads,
he didn't like the way they felt.
He wasn't even really a fan of swimming,
what a strange hand for a Nimmo to be dealt.

Ned did not like to eat flies,
like all Nimmos do.
He much preferred pizzas,
and hamburgers too.

The only thing that Ned and other Nimmos had in common,
was a love for Nimmo Day.
