for it is blocked from view,
darkness encircles it
and love cannot get through...
No warmth, no love, no touch or smell,
the feeling of doom may dwell.
Cold walls of ice, no floor to stand.
The seemingly endless fall to a distant land.
The hatred lingers in the very air you breathe,
so much pain you cannot beleive.
The sense of ones self seems to disappear
and the only feeling left with you is fear.
You want life to pass but the end does not come.
The lonely breeze, the lack of sound,
the thought that you will never be found.
your eyes are open but you cannot see,
you reach out to touch but there is nothing there,
you are trapped forever, in a frozen lair.

There once was a Lupe colored as a berry,
He was homeless and hungry and hairy.
He was always cold and needy,
and his eyes were black and beady.
The Lupe was blue and white and had a cute smile
he was starved and in need, not fed for a while.
With no shelter or warmth he decided,
he'd be better off living
on canned yams and apple cider.
When I peered into the adoption center one day
I saw this cute looking Lupe
starved half past Monday.
He was blue and white, and had a cute smile
and that's when i knew I'd gone wild...
IN LOVE THAT IS!!!!!
That's when I adopted him and noticed his name,
