Hip hip hooray it is Tonu day! 

Let us celebrate and have lots of fun. 

For we love our rhinoceros like friends, 

Because they are super-fast when they run. 

 

Charging around on their four legs, 

Moving their big heavy toes. 

Causing havoc and making things tumble, 

Where ever our friend the Toun goes. 

 

Although they are clumsy and make lots of noise. 

They are also loving and kind. 

With their big fluffy mane, they engulf you. 

You'll be nice and warm, so won't mind. 

 

So happy birthday to the Toun's 

We hope today is special for you. 

The best species out there, 

This is surly true.

Happy Tonu Day - Gentle Giants

Although we may appear scary
And our stature is large and a little hairy,
We really are friendly and love to play!
So come help us celebrate Tonu Day!

Our favorite food consists of berries,
We come in colors like Royal and Faerie,
All colors of the rainbow we do love,
And our happiness fits us just like a glove!

Brimming with tons of joy and fun,
We will spend all day in the warm glowing sun,
With tons of games, streamers, and cake,
This celebration will all day take!

Come laugh and play and sing,
Without worrying about anything,

The Diligence of the Tonu Guard

The churn of the magma pool sounds
Behind the sternly stoic Tonu Guard.
His mane ablaze, he stands his ground
Resolutely in his fireproof Moltaran garb.

“Only those well-versed in the ways
Of Moltara may enter. Try again later,”
He repeats to tourists at their dismay,
Which makes him stand a bit straighter.

Though loyal to his duties like all Tonus,
The Guard overzealously never rests. 
At times, a visitor catches him in a snooze,
Whereby the Pool becomes free to access.

The Guard reawakens with a jolt, only
To find magma puddles from the pool.
“I must be more diligent, for it is my duty!”
The Tonu Guard says without losing his cool.

Though he can be strict and uptight, too,
At his job and you may be turned away,
Let’s give him credit where credit is due
And celebrate his diligence this Tonu Day.

Keeper of the Magma Pool

Deep in the Moltara Caves,
Is a magma pool,
If you take a dip,
You will look really cool!

The only thing,
A neopet I would say,
A magma tonu,
Stands in your way.

This tonu of flame,
Is the keeper of the magma pool,
And his saying are always the same:
"I'm sorry,
Only those well versed in the ways of Moltara,
Are permitted to enter the pool.
Try again later."

He guards the sacred pool,
With his tonu mane aflame,
Do not dare to challenge him to a duel,
For he is armed with a spear in hand,
I don't even think that you can.

If you think you are well versed,
In the history of his land,
Visit the magma tonu,
And see if he grants you,
A dip in the Magma Pool.

But the one color I would love to see,
is a Marble Tonu in various shades of greys.

Letting Tonu's get painted,
with a marble paint brush would be.
The very best gift to all Tonu lovers,
it would be amazing you see.

So this Tonu day,
all of Neopia has their fingers crossed tight.
That marble is one of the new Tonu colors,
everyone is wishing with all of their might.

would be so amazing to see.
It would be a dream pet for many,

Headfirst into the frey
But today it's a different story
For it is Tonu Day.

Moreso than any other
Three-sixty-four we know
The Tonu species remember
That they must be on show.

With pride and with such glory
Celebrate the horn and mane
Not those of a uni
But pets of a different vein.

Accomplished in so many ways
Since first that they were found
Be it in science discovering worlds
Or lawn bowls on the ground.

Do not dare doubt the Tonu
For it would be too bad
If the next charge laid on you

But not the pet that people say "I love you" to.

I'm big and strong and playful too!
That's the story of a real Tonu.

That doesn't mean I don't have feelings
Even tough guys have loving feelings.

I look kind of mean and fat I guess
but with a loving heart I've surely been blessed.

People love the kacheeks and poogles too
But if your're looking through the pound for a forever friend
Don't pass up the loving Tonu
For he will surely tell you
