Lenny Day Celebrations

Today is a special day, 

A time to celebrate and have lots of fun. 

As we honor the Lenny, 

A Neopet who is loved by everyone. 

 

They stand quite tall on long spindly legs, 

Which support their feathery frame. 

And have two great wings, they use to fly, 

Although some disagree that claim. 

 

These bird like creatures are famous for their intelligence, 

And this is rightly so. 

Spending their days studying scrolls and books, 

To learn everything there is to know. 

 

So, we cheer happy birthday, 

For our favorite species, the Lenny. 

Come and grab a slice of cake, 

There is defiantly plenty.

Pink Lenny Morphing Potion

Drink?
Or not to drink?
For if I drink this drink,
I will be a Lenny,
I will be pink.

My claws will be feathers,
My snout,
To a beak,
This will only be,
If I take this drink.

The pink lenny morphing potion,
It's liquid swirling in my hand,
Pinkalicious,
It could be grand.

I open it up,
And drink it down,
And POOF
A pink cloud!

I look in the mirror,
What did I see,
Me,
But as a pink lenny.

Rainbow Lenny Plushie

So soft,
So cuddly,
Vibrant color is he,
Is my little rainbow lenny plushie.

Red around the head,
And the tips of the wings too,
Then yellow is the new hue:
Down its neck,
To the middle of the wings,
What a colorful plushie is he.

Next comes green,
And lastly blue,
All these colors,
So you don't have to choose,
Between the other solid color plushies.

Creating new puzzles

For years he has planned
and we Neopians have waited
for the newest arrival of riddles
and our breaths were baited.

After being gone for so long
the only answer to remain
is that he ran out of riddles
to wrack and tease the brain

The Lenny Conundrum Wizard
Will return from being gone so long
He must be creating new puzzles
with answers right and wrong.

The new questions must be
incredibly and devilishly hard
Until he returns to quiz us all
so we must be on our guard.

So we wait for the Lenny Conundrum Wizard
to make his return with aplomb
with questions about Lost Desert sand grains
or coconuts on a Mystery Island palm.

But we'll keep waiting
knowing the riddles will come
days, weeks, years, or more
we'll await the competition that's fun.

The Last Lenny Conundrum

The Lenny Conundrum is my favorite game
But I am left quite confused
For the Blumaroo Servant has been at work
And our answers are left unammused.

I blame that Lenny Conundrum Wizard,
He always stared down his beak
But he hasn't given a riddle answer
And getting one now just seems bleak.

Truthfully, I just want some closure.
How many buckets of sand did he take?
Poor Blumaroo Servant has had no rest,
How many sand castles did he make?

But alas, it comes back to the Lenny
His stature tall and slim
Surely he knows the Conundrum answer;
Surely it must be him!

"I come to you, wise Lenny
For an answer to your riddle!
Sir, it's been 5 years by now!
My patience has become quite little!"

But he looks to me and scoffs a bit
And turns his head to the side
"Well isn't it obvious, Neopian?"
What is he trying to hide?

"What ever do you mean, Lenny Wizard?"
I asked him with a sneer.
He turned his head once more to me
The answer still not clear.

"The answer, my friend, is in your heart"
He said with a big grin
I stepped back and thought a bit
But my anger grew within.

"Really, Lenny Wizard!?
Is that the best you could do?
You waited five terribly long years
Just to say 'the answer is you'?"

I cannot accept his answer.
He got the question wrong.
'Please reply with only the number of buckets.
Submit your answer in numerical form.'

There's no way the answer is in my heart.
There's no way an answer exists.
The only thing that I know,
Is that the Lenny Conundrum Wizard can catch these fists.

Finneus the Cleverest Lenny

Finneus is the cleverest Lenny around,
in the library is where he can be found
He is the Archieve Keeper for Altador 
and is familiar with every legend and lore.

He researches and studies all day long,
even on Lenny Day he won’t be in the throng.
He’ll spend the Lenny Festival hypothesizing 
in hopes of what his knowledge will bring.

But there’s one thing he loves even more,
he loves his meepit plushie down to its core.
Rumor has it he has a box of them hidden
but looking for his trove is expressly forbidden.

So spend Lenny Day in the library instead
discussing with Finneus all the books he’s read.
Maybe he’ll teach you a new thing or two
and he’ll change your Neopian world view!

Light on Lenny's Wings

Aloft, adrift the whispered wind,
Beyond the clouds, she’ll slide.
Caught on whim of breeze so soft,
Doth Lenny gently glide.
Guided by the sunlit ray,
She’ll trace the clouds so soft.
The gentle hold of summer breeze,
Doth keep her firm aloft.

Each feather parted by the wind,
She dives between sun’s beams.
With grace and beauty rarely found,
But for within one’s dreams.
No sight could ever match this scene,
When Lenny takes to wing.
Of merry flight aloft of all,
Such joy does this sight bring.

The creature seems a gangly bird,
Unlike Pteri, small.
But when it comes to seeking sun,
The Lenny flight beats all.
She scatters sunlight with her wing,
Lost in the joy of flight.
Form cast in the sunlit beam,
And traced by vibrant light.

Wheeler's Woes: The Lenny's Impossible Job

Demands are never fine.
Poor Wheeler has to fetch the loot.
Such rants are out of line!

The flustered Lenny bikes to try
To get the goods in time.
Across the isle the cocos lie,
Far from the one who dines.

Long distances shall leave the bird
Exhausted from the task.
The jobs he gets are so absurd!
Worn out, he'll surely crash!

He's dropping cocos, wrecking them—
The Lenny can't prevail.
Oh, Mumbo Pango's rage will stem
From every mission failed.

The Lenny can't endure the wrath
Of this antagonist.
Away from him the bird shall dash—
The rants will not be missed.

Lenny Festival

it is finally here!
It is time for the celebration,
that we have been waiting for all year!

Hurry up,
we have to go!
It is time to head down to Neopia Central,
there is no time to be slow!

Today is the Lenny Festival,
a day filled with love and cheer.
New Lenny colors are being released soon,
this is such an exciting time of year.

All over Neopia Central,
everyone is laughing and having fun.

and eating Lenny themed food under the warm Neopian sun!

The Skinny Lenny

Some people say that I'm too skinny
I think that's okay for a lenny.
We eat like birds for obvious reasons
Doesn't matter what the season.

Some people say I look like Twiggy
If that's an insult it's not a biggy.
Twiggy was a famous model
For that kind of money I'll gladly waddle!

Some people say my neck is too long
I think they are totally wrong
I can see over most of your heads
Which is more that you can say about most eggheads.

Some people say my beak's too long
All the better for singing my songs!
One of these days I might be famous 
If I don't come across as an ignoramus.

Some people say my feet are too big
If I were more sensitive I might flip my wig
But being a much more sensible type
I can ignore those silly gripes.

All in all I might be tall
But I don't see that as a problem at all.
And being skinny is fine with me
No one else is allowed to define me!
