Neggs are fun and really cool,
they put everyone in a very good mood!
Neggs are popular and everyone loves them,
I cant believe that they are food.

Neggs have many different patterns and designs,
just thinking about them blows my mind.
They come in different shapes and sizes,
you never know what you are going to find.

They come in various colors,
any color you can think.
Every color under the sun,
from black to blue to pink.

Some neggs look like cybunnies,
and some sparkle and shine.
There are even neggs with gems and fur,
I want to make them all mine.

You can take them to The Neggery,
nestled up high in Terror Mountain.
You can give them to the Negg Faerie,
which is more exciting than Rainbow Fountain!

The Negg Faerie takes your neggs,
any ones you want to give away.
She gives you negg points in return,
which you use to buy special rare neggs, hooray!

There is even a festival dedicated to neggs,
it happens once a year.
The Festival Of Neggs is a time to celebrate,
it fills of all of Neopia with Cheer.

Chocolate Neggs

Five little chocolate neggs – I wish there were more!
Topsi ate one; then there were four.

Four little chocolate neggs- as tasty as can be
Kari ate one; then there were three.

Three little chocolate neggs.. I haven’t got a clue
The Pant Devil stole one; that leaves only two.

Two little chocolate neggs – we’re almost done!
Flora decided to plant one, and that left one.

One little chocolate negg – We’re having fun!
I ate that one and now there’s none.

Passing on the Festival Tradition

you think that Kari would be near.

This is not the case however,
Topsi has taken over this endeavor.

He hides the neggs, and hops around, 
leaving them out to be found.

All of Neopia sends out their cheers,
for this very time of year.

Do you think Kari feels left out?
Does she sit in the Neggery and pout?

Perhaps her festival time has passed,
and she loves being retired at last.

Now she can watch from her mountain above,
while Topsi continues to spread her love.

The Great Negg Hunt

“Wake up, wake up!” my JubJub cries,
“The festival is here!
The Festival of Neggs, of course,”
He squeals in my ear.

I comb my hair and brush my teeth;
I’m ready for the day.
My fellow Neopians full of glee;
My JubJub leads the way.

“Over here,” he says with a smirk,
“To Topsi’s place we go!”
I feel excitement in the air
As we weave through the crowd to and fro.

Two cybunny ears appear in sight
Above the massive crowd;
It’s Topsi bouncing up and down
As he begins to speak aloud,

“Neopians, the day is here!
The festival has begun!
A clue each day will lead you toward
Sweet prizes to be won!

Look high, look low, look left, look right
Search for me all around;
For gorgeous neggs and pastel treats
Are waiting to be found!”

And with a hop and a skip and a bounce
Topsi disappears,
Calling “Find me if you can my friends!”
As the crowd erupts in cheers.

 “Well let’s go find him!” my JubJub cries
As he glances at me and grins.
I smile right back, beaming ear to ear
And the great negg hunt begins.
