But, they’re so quick and cunning!
Blending with customers as they go.

When enough is deposited,
I’ll tuck it into the vault for good.
That should stop this Scorchio,
At least, I think it could.

He’s back again! Bar all the doors!
Flip the switch to sound the alarm.
Ah ha! We have finally stopped him,
And he’s prevented from doing harm.

I know this is a small victory,
For he will be back too soon.

He'll often cry for more,
His opponents are impressed by
The speed he works his jaw!

The Fire Breathing Contest

The Scorchios all gather,
To see who is the best,
In the fire breathing contest.
Who'll be better than the rest?

A dark and scary Darigan,
Takes swiftly to the stage,
His breathes a plume of flames,
That are orange; full of rage.

Next a Magma Scorchio,
Shows she can tow the line,
Her jet of fire goes so far,
In a thin and pointed line.

The Fire Scorchio smirks a while,
And then steps up to win,
When his goes further than the rest,
He doesn't hide his grin.

And finally to the stage we see,
A little Baby girl,
She giggles at the laughing crowd,
And gives her dress a twirl.

Everyone is laughing,
This really is a joke,
How can this little Scorchio,
Compete with other folk?

But then the Baby hiccups,
And a jet of flame leaps out,
Across the stage and further,
Causing everyone to shout.

She wins by quite a margin,
This Baby Scorchio,
For although she is just tiny,
Her fire stole the show!

The warmth fills the room,
Not a sound you will hear.
As he slowly walks towards you,
You wont see him there.

The fire it grows hot,
In his belly it will come.
His breath smells of ash,
His skin is so smooth.

He likes to play this game,
You will stand in fear.
The night with all his friends,
You can't touch them but you know they're there.

Blind you are,
But its light in the room.
You yell out to catch him,
But there is only thin air.

"Take that blind fold off ,
The cake is here"
There! You can now see your friends,
They are running towards the presents.
