KACHEEK DAY SPECIAL

Kacheek Day Cheer
by chai7705

"Remember me? It's me, the Kacheek!
I love to laugh and to play
I come from the Central of all the lands
And today's my special day!"

Yes, they've been here for many-a-year
But they're still up for some fun
Their favorite game is Kacheek Seek
Their skills are second-to-none!

And though they're already seasoned vets
They're open to help and assist
They love to greet all newbie users
With tutorials - they insist!

Now today's the day to celebrate
With "Yippee!"s and a "Wahoo!"
And say to our own darling friends
"Oh Kacheek, how I love you!"

My Kacheek Friend
by icysnowe

O I once had the pleasure
Of meeting a Kacheek.
His smile was simply divine,
His manners were sublime!

O it was indeed a pleasure
To meet this fine Kacheek.
We talked about each other's day,
I couldn’t bear not to stay!

O what a great pleasure
It was to meet this Kacheek.
His sense of humour was priceless,
I rolled on the floor laughing witless!

O it was my pleasure
To meet that amazing Kacheek.
Now I’m smiling to no end,
Because I get to call him my friend.

A Game of Kacheek Seek
by guineagymnastics

In the warm and sunny afternoon, over the fields yonder
A circle of Kacheeks sat 'round a bed
Of lovely fragrant flowers

In need of a game to while the time away,
They came up with a solution
They'd hide amongst the greenery in most devious positions

All the while, as they hid, a lone Kacheek held back
Closing his eyes, he began to count
Laying atop the billowing grass

Reaching one hundred, he opened his lids, waving his tail around
The meadow lay still, a warm breeze blew through
Not a single Kacheek was to be seen

The Yellow Kacheek meandered by a quietly babbling stream
He peered behind the rocks, pulling back a curtain of
Delicately tangled reeds

In the divot sat a hidden Kacheek, covered head to tail in mud
Our hero shook his head, smiling to himself
And helped his friend back up

They searched together, finding the game great fun
Kacheeks hid well, some difficult to find
Like the pair that climbed up a towering tree

They played for hours, through countless rounds
Until they saw the setting sun
Crimson and orange light flooded the land
And the Kacheeks stopped to bask in its soothing glow

They lay down once again, enmeshed with the fading flowers
"That was such a game," said one Kacheek to another
"We must give it a name!" They mused amongst themselves

You already know precisely what name they chose to give it,
As this was the tale of Kacheek Seek's inaugural minute.

Eliv Thade
by xxsicklullabiesxx

Eliv Thade you slick Kacheek
With your creepy eye of red
You trapped me in your dusty castle
And filled my soul with dread.

Here I am solving anagrams
At first a joy to me
But now my brain feels like mush
I've done 'bout two hundred and three!

What have I done to get this curse?
Did I offend you lots?
I'd rather be walking on glass
Or eating flower pots.

Maybe, Eliv, you're misunderstood
A friend is all you need.
Or maybe, you're just out to get me
Because I don't like to read.

While I do admit your puzzles are
Certainly quite great
After so many, they get boring
And anagrams I start to hate.

But since today honors Kacheeks
You might say "Pack Yakked Pa Hey"
But to you, sir Eliv Thade
I say "Happy Kacheek Day!"

The Lovely Maraquan Kacheek
by indulgences

It floats in regal majesty
Amongst the waters deep.
Its tail is so ephemeral.
It flickers, soft, discreet.

Its fins are small and dainty things.
They shimmer, sparkle, gleam.
Its scales are lovely, amber hued,
The brightest ever seen.

It plays and dabbles in the waves.
It leaps and sings for joy.
It flickers in the ocean blue,
Its tail so quick and coy.

The Maraquan Kacheek is such
A beauty to behold,
A gorgeous creature of the sea
With skin of purest gold!

My Kacheek's Day
by andrewyeap

January 29th is the Kacheek day,
The time where the all the Kacheeks have a say.
Off they go gathering at the wishing well,
Wishing for trophies for their story tell.

My Kacheek is not an exception too,
As he wanders around for something to do.
He buys all the cheese at the Cheese Roll,
Till my money-filled wallet has a hole.

My Kacheek is filled with thrill,
As he rolls the cheese down the hill.
But he gets careless stepping on the soap,
And off he go rolling down the slope.

I then brought him for a swim,
Just at the Faerieland's Healing Spring.
Seeing him splashing happily in the water,
I realize that is all that matters.

Oh my dear little Prokacheekyeap,
Even though to you I always yap,
But i just want to let you know,
In my eyes you will always glow.

Alas poor Albert
by dr_tomoe

Most Kacheeks love
spending time in the sun
playing some games
and having some fun.

They love outdoor activities
But sometimes danger shall lurk
like in the tale
of poor Albert

He was the best gardner around
and tended to his blooms
this spotted Kacheek
did not know disaster loomed

For one day it happened
according to the lore
when Albert was cursed
by the Esophagor.

His body mutated and
became quite frightening
as his sunny days were filled
with thunder and lightning

But curses can be broken
and now Albert serves
the same beast who cursed him
in hopes to be cured

Will he ever return?
Only the Esophagor will know.
But hopefully Albert can return
to making his flowers grow.

Deserving Kacheeks!
by chavo_guerrero

There should be three cheers today,
For the tiny, sweet Kacheek,
A real little cutie,
Who keeps its fur so neat.

A nice little button, turned-up nose,
And ears that downwards swoop,
This happy little friend, it's thought,
Is perfect for any group.

The Kacheek is always smiling,
With a heart that's full of cheer,
And they're even more excitable,
At this splendid time of year!

Kacheek Day brings new colors,
And other nice things too,
And everyone is happy to say,
The Kacheek gets a great review!

If you have any of these lovely pets,
Today's the day to spoil,
All the colors, everywhere,
From Grey right up to Royal!

After all these little marvels,
Deserve a fantastic day,
So let's continue with the party,
And let Kacheeks all lead the way!

For A Kacheek, I Seek
by kahlen369

From the sands of the lost desert
To the skies of Faerieland
There is no place in Neopia
That I will not look for you

I will swim through Maraqua
I will climb up to Shenkuu
I will even trek through lava
Just so I can reach you

Whether far or wide
Whether rain or shine
So long as you hide
Then I shall find

Not even the scary fairgrounds
Or the dark space of Kreludor
Could make me stop my search
Though they may test my nerves

I might get wet from the water
I may grow cold from the weather
Eventually, I will grow weary
But even so, I will not give up

So long as you need me
Then I shall seek you
For you are my Kacheek
And I love to play with you

Albert, the Cursed
by jellybabysa

A young and carefree kacheek there was,
Who liked to garden all day.
He had hopes, aspirations, dreams, of course
But, sadly, they were ripped away.

One day he said to his mother dear,
He was going to the Haunted Woods.
He had a brilliant idea, you hear
Of growing plants in every neighborhood.

“No, no, no!” she cried, “please do not go.
I fear what will befall you there.
I have heard of all the tales they tell
Of the dreadful Esophagor.”

But Albert did not listen,
He did not seem to worry.
He wanted to be rich!
And he wanted it in a hurry.

He often remembers this time with sorrow
Of the moment he walked through the wood.
Perhaps if he hadn’t stopped at the flowers
His life would have still been good.

One moment he was bending down low,
Inspecting the quality of the soil.
The next he was pulled to a fro,
He was in a lot of turmoil.

When Albert came to he was not the same.
He was hideous, repulsive, disgusting.
And the cheery kacheek who just wanted fame,
Is instead depressed and mistrusting.

So if you go down to the Graveyard of Doom.
Make sure that you help the beast.
Because if the Esophagor is fed fast enough,
Perhaps Albert will finally be released.

Eliv Thade
by enchantfuls

Do you dare to enter this castle,
This castle of deep mystery?
You may have to solve a puzzle,
Maybe two, maybe three.

My puzzles are quite famous,
Causing chaos within the mind,
I have stumped many of neopians,
With solutions you may never find.

Some may find me clever,
But many say I'm quite mad,
So take your time, solve what you can,
Though beware, the consequences could be bad.

Though I only remain a spirit,
My games must still be played,
You've wander a bit too far, dear Usul
You are forever in the Castle of Eliv Thade.
