Box of Crayons
by jo_eccentric

One hundred different crayons,
Laid out upon my table.
Sticks the shade of rainbows,
Colour everything - they're able.

I open up my little book
Filled with black and white.
The lines are just begging me
To colour them nice and bright.

Inside the Maraqua Colouring Book,
I see a little fin.
I pick a shade of blue and green
To match the Peophin.

The sea, it glistens in the light-
Yellow will be just fine.
I add a touch of orange,
That brings out the sunshine.

Green for the seaweed leaves
Grown on the ocean floor.
I cannot ask for better crayons,
I cannot ask for more!

There are so many books to fill
I don't know where to start.
But this I know, this box will be
What I'll use to create art.

The Problem of Being Transparent
by yarslov

Don't you think the problem,
Of being of being Transparent,
Is transparent as could be?

I mean,
You can see all,
Of what is inside of me,
My stomach,
It cannot hide,
The cake hidden inside.

My transparent face,
Which you cannot see,
Only shows the bone structure of me,
It cannot show,
A smile,
Or frown,
Being Transparent has turned my whole world,
Upside down!

Weather
by w_angel2131_w

Faithful as the sunrise, endless as the sea,
Like the air overflowing of endless bee's,

You can be the light ,warm and flowing,
When prompt you can be fierce and blowing,

You love with your heart and your mind,
To those that you love and are kind,

We soar together on breezes sure and true, We reach amid the stormy clouds to take each others hands,

There are no friendships stronger than a faeries bond.

Waiting for the Wheel of Monotony to Stop
by outlander_

It has been spinning for hours,
Or maybe days,
It feels that time has stopped,
But the spinning of the wheel,
Says that it has not.

Round and round,
It goes,
It does not seem to slow,
My Neopet is bored,
It just wants to go.

I have read the Neopian Times,
To the point that I have almost memorized every line,
But does the wheel stop?!
I think not?

Just One Lonely Jubjub
by evie3423421

So fluffy, so round,
Moves slightly, big sound,
Small body, big feet,
Seems cute, how sweet.

Lot's of attention, coos and awes,
So tiny when he sleeps, but then he snores,
What a noise, such an echo,
It hurts the ears, all people must go.

No friends you see, no one sticks around,
No Neopet can stand that awful sound,
No faerie nor petpet, no friend nor foe,
JubJub's left on his own, no place to go.

A noise in the corner,
A whisper, no louder,
I'm Flotsam, that's me,
I stayed, can't you see?

No longer was he, just one lonely Jubjub,
A friend had stayed, a Flotsam who loved,
Flotsam smiled and he laughed,
I don't mind your snoring, just go take a bath!
