My Fuzzy Blue Ogrin Slippers

As soon as I'm home I put them on,
they are softer than silk chiffon.
My feet feel so comfortably cosy
that I am then as happy as Rosie.

Never again will I get frostbite,
thanks to their soft toasty might.
I wish I could wear them outside,
but the ice would make them slide.

If I have a cold they're the cure,
since they keep me snugly secure.
Whenever I glance down at my feet,
a smile emerges and I am complete.

Thanks to my blue Ogrin slippers,
which fit me without any zippers.
Once I had to use them as gloves
and they were as smooth as doves.

Versatile and reliable as can be
is what they are in every degree.
These Ogrin slippers are terrific;
to lose them would be so horrific!

Blind Ogrin Of Top Chop

In the misty mountains
that hide the land Shenkuu,
there is a school for learning
what the mystic arts do.

The concentration needed
to be a Top Chop master
must be taken with care,
it can't be done faster.

The Blind Ogrin is the teacher
who can show you the way
of breaking those objects
with patience, this day.

Even though his sight is gone
his skills have not gone rusty,
so much that even the Emperor
is impressed by his mastery.

But patience is needed,
as well as a keen reflex,
to aim for the block
when there's no passing Vernax.

Outstanding Ogrins

Ogrins are red,
Ogrins are blue,
I wrote this poem
in lieu of you.

I'm loving your mohawk,
your antlers, too,
we want you royal,
that much is true!

You're under appreciated,
they say you're unloved.
Nevertheless, 
you're thought well of. 

The form of a lobster
or a chocolate cream puff,
you are one 'pet,
i just can't get enough!

Said to be intelligent
yet rather shy,
reading all those books --
oh me, oh my!

You study nature,
what a naturalist!
Everyone should own an Ogrin,
I must insist!

So, dear Ogrin, as the poem ends,
your special day draws closer,
invite all your friends.

Baby Ogrin Plushie

I love the baby Ogrin so.
For now, I own its plushie.
I hug it close, I hold it near.
It is so soft and smushy.

It will behoove me, one fine day,
To buy the Baby Paint Brush.
I'm saving all my Neopoints.
I'm in no panicked sales rush.

The toy is cute, with wide set eyes
That sparkle black and shiny.
Its ears flop cutely back and forth.
This plushie is so tiny!

Its paws are softest yellow felt.
Its limbs and hair are green-hued.
I hug this gorgeous plushie close
When I am in a bad mood!

Enjoy the Ogrin's day today,
As well as all its plushies!
Perhaps you'll love them as I do
And find them sweet and smushy!

To Young Ogrins

When you are an Ogrin today,
Your kind new to this life,
Your path will not be easy,
It will be at least one part strife.

Ogrins have not made history yet,
But that is a yet you have to go get.
You must puff out your mane, get set,
Go out and show them you’re the best.

You will never be popular as an Ogrin,
Never coveted on the Pound board,
But show them what you can really do
And I promise you they’ll all be floored.

Hold your head high, ears up, smile for real.
Be proud of yourself, not despite
But instead because you are a cheap species
You are going to be a true delight.

Your value does not come from rarity,
There is no need to look at popularity polls.
Value comes from being yourself,
Whether fighting or reading is your goal.

Though not well known or widely praised,
There have been many Ogrins before you.
They had one thing in common:
All of them did what was right and true.

So, do not envy Draiks or Krawks,
Neither shun the Grarrls or Skeiths,
For all that matters is one’s integrity.
Honesty and heart are treasures to keep.
