Typical Day On Neopets

They're really quick and easy and
I never have to think!

My codestones are hard won!

The Healing Springs is my next stop.
The faerie there is kind.
She heals my battle 'pet and then
She soothes my worried mind!

I check my Neomail as well.
My Neofriends are sweet.
They are the finest folks that
I'd ever want to meet!

My final destination is
The funny Neoboards.
I laugh and chat with regulars.
Our humor's in accord!

And when I'm fully chatted out,
I'm scribbling poems new,
Submitting them to contests and
Desiring trophies, too!

Another hobby that I have
On this most awesome site
Is writing NT articles.
They're positive and bright!

So, that's my daily ritual!

Baby Paint Brush

Longing to have a Baby Paint Brush 
but knowing the same answer. 
Always expensive, never enough Neopoints; 
together, we can play for hours. 
Seeing how cute she looks is candy to my eyes, 
doing anything and everything. 
If only I could see her face, 
It's been ages
since she ever looked so cute. 
Thousands of Neopoints away -- 
what's the worth 
if it ain't ever gonna work? 
As if I don't know any better, 
truly wishing
that someday I will get a Baby Paint Brush,
but, alas, that day has never yet come.
Time passes and we just get older, 
but truth be bought, 
maybe I still do need that paint brush.

The Splendid New Species

Finally, after eight years,
A new species came to appear.
This sweet addition, viewed as dear,
Was called the Vandagyre, you hear?

A cross between an owl and
A panda from wild nature's clan,
This gem is sure to delight,
With its huge eyes so full of light!

Rush over to Create a 'pet --
You'll make a Vandagyre, I'll bet!
How could anyone resist
Those eyes, that tail, those cute clawed fists?

They come in four colors so mellow --
Red, green, blue, and sunshine yellow.
I must select between four hues;
Which variation shall I choose?

Oh! I'd like a Ruki, too.
I try to make one, but boo hoo!
The Ruki's now an LE 'pet!
I hadn't heard that as of yet!

My sweet Vandagyre and I 
Leave for the NC Mall to buy
Cute clothes to suit my darling's taste.
Excited, my 'pet sprints in haste!

Once there, we're enthralled to get
A freebie based on my new 'pet!
She opens it and, filled with glee,
Exclaims, "Two treats resembling me!"

My dear decides upon a dress
More fair than mine, I must confess.
With that, my charming wide-eyed friend
And I go home as daylight ends.

My Vandagyre is just the start
Of a new species with a heart
More massive than Neopia's moon.
I yearn to meet more of them soon.

Adventures On Pages

Today I found a book on the ground;
someone left it on the ground, 
not making a sound.

The book is named Gallion Dot to Dot,
and I figure: why not give it a shot?

The cover had colors and shapes galore,
as I quiver with excitement 
to see what was in store.

I opened the book 
and giggles and laughs were on every page,
a book that's meant for each and every age.

The tears of laughing and the cries of sorrow,
I have to go to bed now, 
so I'll continue tomorrow.

I'm so glad someone dropped this book,
so I could be lucky enough 
to take peek and look.
