Some people find me cute,
others find me fearful.
As for those who quickly judge me,
they leave me feeling tearful.

I know I have extremely sharp teeth,
and a rather evil smile,
but as soon as people hear me roar,
they run a million miles.

Now I wish people would just listen up,
and hear what I have to say:
it's not my fault I was born a Grarrl,
but I have to stay that way.

Can't people get to know me,
before they make their call?
I mean, so what if I'm really big,
and so what if I'm really tall?

Whenever I jog down the street,
people stop and gawk,
and most of the time I wish
that they'd just continue with their walk.

Sure, I can understand
how they'd think I'd bite,
but didn't their parents ever teach them
that staring is not polite?

Well, now you've heard about my life,
and this I have to say:
treat people the way you want to be treated,
each and every day.

The Kacheek Who Hated Flowers

It's been whispered through Neopia
and there's no use hiding it anymore.
There's a Kacheek who hates
the daisies, pansies, and the oleaders.
He was born like any other,
then came that awful day
that the Kacheek complained to
Mother that he was having sniffles while
playing around in the hay.
So his mother took him to the doctor,
and that's when the truth came out,
that lil' Kacheek was allergic
to hay, pollen and sauerkraut.
Well, sauerkraut was no ploblem,
he didn't eat his anyway.
But, being allergic to flowers
was another story, Jose!
From then on there was ridicule
for that poor lil' Kacheek,
and his future was looking
more than just a tad bit meek.
So, if you see a Kacheek roaming
around the Neopian Pharmacy,
with a nose that's runny
and eyes that are blood-shot,
chances are you saw the poor lil' Kacheek
who's allergic to hay, pollen and sauerkraut!

The Deep Catacombs

Damp and dark,
The caverns unknown
Beckon me further
Into the hall of stone.

Spyders and Spoppies
Scale slimy walls
They say there's a door
At the end of these halls.

My breath held its own
As my goal came in view.
The door was unlocked
And thrown open askew.

Torchlight glowed ahead
And I stepped into the room.
My eyes opened wide
At the sights from the gloom.

The aroma lingered
Of sweet mocha and cream.
Neopets gathered
Around the bustling scene.

There were stories and poems
And artwork galore.
There was coffee and cakes
And reciting of lore.

I smiled with delight
As I scavenged the walk.
I found NP and trophies
And intelligent talk.

Hours later I left
With a grin and a smile
With hopes of soon return.

Carrotblade By Picperfect85

My Scorchio is the toughest pet
No one can beat him I bet
He is the master of the Battledome
All sorts of trophies he brings home

So, of course, when he told me
Owning a Carrotblade would fill him with glee
I decided right then I'd do my best
To make my Scorchio very impressed

I traveled to the Faerie Tower
The one made invisible by a magic power
For the Carrotblade I made my plea
And finally bought it for a hefty fee

I wrapped it and gave it to my pet
I was happy even if I was in debt
My Scorchio was very delighted
And his battle thirst was ignited

He marched over to the ring
His new Carrotblade he did bring
And then I could not believe my sight
As he challenged the Esophagor to a fight!

The hulking beast with his mouth open wide
Moved back and forth, from side to side
I watched up in the crowded stands
My Scorchio stood with his blade in his hands

Then before anyone could blink an eye
The Esophagor hurled foreward with a cry
My Scorchio let out a frightened call
The beast gobbled up the Carrotblade,
hilt and all!

My Scorchio gasped in utter surprise
And then, realizing he had no other supplies,
Withdrew from the battle with his head low
Back home he trudged in woe

No trophies did he bring home that day

Do not think my story is a mere fable
And beware any weapon
made from a vegetable!
