Jetsam Day

Jetsam Day has been delayed,
and I must say I am dismayed.

I was so hoping to celebrate this 'pet,
And now that I cannot my cheeks are wet.

From tears I've cried over these poor creatures,
so rare nowadays, but with such great features.

The long, jagged tail and the shark-like fin;
they come in colors red, blue, yellow or green.

You can paint them any color you pick,
just take them to the Rainbow Fountain 
and it'll be quick!

That's all I have to say for now 
on the wonderful Jetsam, 
except that, if you don't have one, 
you should get some!

The Brightvale University Jetsam Lunchlady

Cooking at the Brightvale University
doesn't give her food much diversity.
The students only like certain meals,
and they have to have discount deals.

Hamburgers, hot dogs, and french fries
are what they eat (besides pot pies).
For dessert it's cookies or ice cream,
which seems to help their self-esteem.

At home is where she can be creative,
it's how she became a gourmet native.
Delicacies pile into her kitchenette
each time she makes her crepe suzette.

She hopes to be a sous chef some day
inside of her idol Chef Bonju's cafe.
For now, she is content with her life
(as long as she uses her paring knife).

Slicing and dicing up herbs and meats
to put in the cafeteria's tray sheets.
After all, she is the most famous cook
that is in the universities' notebook.

Sharkseas Rule

Jetsam Day is here!
And now, for the fourth year,
it's time for a Sharkseas update
so get ready to cheer!

The Quiggletons are beaten
and back in the dungeon,
having escaped last time
after the festivities were done.

But this time she assures
there will be no escape;
the Quiggletons will be prisoners
and such is their fate.

Now, from her aquarium castle
she'll rule with aplomb,
and those who don't comply
will be hit with Tomato Bombs.

But now, with her rule beginning
against the Quiggleton's wishes,
she'll start by making them 
do all of the dishes.

And then they have to
change the water vents,
or else get zapped by
her pointy trident.

When cleaning the castle
generally she'll be a bother.
She'll act just like a
faerie tale wicked stepmother.

To everyone else, as long
as they acknowledge her superiority
and accept that she's the 
ultimate Jetsam authority!

The Jetsam Sharkseas
and new servant Loyal,
together with her butler,
hope this year's Jetsam colors are Royal!

Faerie Jetsam

The Jetsam sails below the churning waves
And never wonders once of newer things,
Devoid of cold and moisture sweeping past
His skin. He revels in what water brings.

A sleeker, brighter shape sweeps past the top
And hovers over, under, as if he'd sew
A pattern filled with splashes and with blue
And green.  His flying strength would only grow.

Must those be fins or wings? I cannot tell
By first glance, but he just cannot keep still.
A faerie and a master of the sea,
Both are what he is and what he always will

Be. What a liberty to stretch and take
In light; with equal freedom, plunge into
The waiting surface and unite with friends.
No one knows next what this one will do.

His Encounter With Mr. Irgo

He travelled South of the desert of Roo 
And stumbled upon the Techo Caves;
Lost and confused, he knew not what to do. 
He feared he had found his own grave.  

In the darkness, he met a red creature --
Sharp teeth, strong brow, and rough fins; 
The traveler eyed the curious features 
Of this Jetsam that started to grin...

"Call me Mr. Irgo," said the red Jetsam.
"I can sell you the tools you now need. 
I have armour to get you out of this jam."  
The traveller never felt so relieved!  

Mr. Irgo explained his black market shop. 
The traveller was sent on a task to collect 
Some gems from the cave, he was to swap 
For armour with energy-absorbing effects.  

The traveller agreed, and off he went 
In search for agate, chrysolite, and serpentine; 
Inside treacherous caves battles were spent 
In search for these gems so divine.  

Levels increased, tired and quite fatigued, 
The traveller returned with the three rocks; 
Mr. Irgo was pleased and did as agreed. 
He started to chip away at the blocks.  

Mr. Irgo worked fast, fins nimble and precise. 
Three fragments he combined, skill displayed; 
The traveller sat down and merely blinked twice, 
And behold, his armour was already made!  

Mr. Irgo gave him an Energy Absorber! 
Damage converted to hit points, it’s true! 
Strong armour to help any quester recover,
Now battles will be easier to plow through.

The traveller thanked his new Jetsam friend;
He donned his fierce armour with such pride. 
He will see his Neoquest mission 'til the end 
With fond memories of Mr. Irgo by his side.

Majestic Jetsam Shield

Describing A Jetsam

That plea,
