EYRIE DAY SPECIAL
The Leery Eyrie
by Outlander_
My Eyrie is leery
Of anything new,
He won't go to a new land
Or try a new food.
He is leery on cloudy days,
Staying inside,
Insisting that it will rain!
The Soup Kitchen
He avoids like the plague.
For, how can you get one soup
And then a new one
With a second scoop?
My Eyrie is content
With the same old routine:
Get up,
Go to Coltzan's Shrine,
And then have fun at apple bobbing.
My Eyrie is leery
Of anything new,
But he is my friend...
What can you do?

My Brawny Eyrie Punching bag
by Sugarypixiestix2
If I ever need to let off steam
or prepare for my skirmish team,
I get out my Eyrie Punching Bag,
which moves in a jumbled zigzag.
The Eyrie on it is really tough --
it'll make me quick soon enough.
With each punch I feel stronger
and my swings are rising longer.
To be like a magnificent Eyrie
is what I do wish to see in me.
Every time I finish my workout,
my energy is like a water spout.
Rushing through me with resolve
as my vitality begins to evolve.
During each session it urges me
to endure on the count of three.
In order to sustain my quality,
so I can be a hero of equality.
Battling along the side of good,
like a warrior made out of wood.

Emerald Eyrie Coin
by Dr_tomoe
It's spoken of in whispers,
rumors, and hushed tones.
It's thought to be a myth,
as it's seen by almost no one.
Most Neopians think it's a legend --
if one existed, the Thieves Guild would steal.
Even the Sway think it doesn't exist,
but I assure you, it's quite real.
The rarest coin in Neopia
comes in an emerald green.
It's the rarest of the rare
and is almost never seen.
An Eyrie's face is emblazoned on
the face of this rare currency.
It might restock just once a decade,
and the shop would swarm with urgency.
Or, perhaps, a high roller
could have a chance in Qasala,
but you'd be better off
saving all of that moola.
It's a restocker's dream
to be able to snag one.
A shame, one popped up now
while you were distracted with this poem.

Jahbal The Eyrie
by Toffeedatepudding
Fiery red fur and beak so sharp,
Wings contorted in a deadly harp,
In Neoquest realms, he spells trouble...
Beware, the Eyrie that is Jahbal!
Nefarious plans to rule the world,
The Circle of Twelve, he dost unfurled.
Let into corruption, saddest day
Sealed in Two Rings Valley, made to pay.
For a thousand years, Jahbal has seethed.
From his prison boundary, he has freed.
With minion hoards and ill intent,
Jahbal avenged to let Neopia torment.
He then returned with strength unseen,
The Circle of Twelve had not foreseen.
Crushed and defeated by Jahbal’s ire,
The world has never looked so dire!
Oh, white Lupe hero, come to our aid --
Undo the mayhem Jahbal has made;
Ruin and destruction, on land befall,
By Neoquest’s greatest villain, Jahbal!

Lord Of The Dance Floor
by Psycho_skittles
Hear that funky jam pumping,
Those feathered hips bumping,
Ready to boogie down till dawn.
See those golden toes strutting,
Through the crowd he's cutting,
Ready to boogie down till dawn.
A group of 'pets start swooning,
The crowd just keeps ballooning,
Ready to boogie down till dawn.
Flash of gold sparkling,
Shiny medallion in the darkling,
Ready to boogie down till dawn.
With a wink he keeps dancing,
To his admirers he is glancing,
Ready to boogie down till dawn.
Wings extend, far-stretching,
His golden beak, clearly fetching,
Ready to boogie down till dawn.
The golden Eyrie is quite catching,
His devilish charm, surely matching,
Ready to boogie down till dawn.
Home of Branston whose winning,
With a beat that's always spinning,
Ready to boogie down till dawn.

Thyora's Tale
by Binky1260
On the bank of Kumlaa River,
Forlorn Thyora wept from grief,
Deprived of home and brother
And consumed by disbelief.
So intense was her deep sorrow,
So shattered was her heart,
For, she never had imagined
Her world would thus be torn apart.
Upon this scene, a faerie came,
Compassionate and kind,
And inquired of the Eyrie
Why she so sadly pined.
When once she learned of Thyora’s pain,
The faerie did reply,
“My friend, you've suffered
An immeasurable loss;
That I cannot deny.”
With that, she brushed a single tear
From Thyora's wistful face
And magically transformed it
Into a glowing necklace.
“Keep this charm with you always,
And you need never fear
The fate that befell your brother
And all that you hold dear.”
Now, those who wear Thyora's Tear
Receive its strong protection,
Thanks to a faerie who
Embodied mercy to perfection.

Winging It Like An Eyrie
by Meowclopspurrcat
I have the problem that so many know,
The issue of which too many are aware:
I’m a procrastinator of the worst kind,
But I am not alone, I swear!
There are Neopets who scramble like me
To meet the deadlines raging through,
The ones we know as Eyries
Struggle as badly as all of us do!
They take beaks to finish simple tasks
That even I could complete in a day;
They ruffle the feathers of their professors
And scare all the intent planners away!
No matter how much they try to prepare,
Their ambitious goals rarely take flight;
They flutter along and forget to do things
And barely escape from
Their birdbrained plights!
If you confront one about his lack of drive,
He’ll squawk out a heated retort;
Excuses are prevalent in these silly ‘pets
And their escapades are common to report!
These crazy birds wing it like the best of them,
Yet, in the pecking order, they still perch tall.
They are so clever that,
While they don’t study much,
They claw their way to the top of them all!
So, even if your Eyrie infuriates you
With her lack of drive to compete,
Remember that they are innately loving 'pets
And that living with one is a treat!

The Eyrie Migration
by Ragecandybar
Wing-beats span across the sky,
Lofty feathers carry them high.
Sweeping plumes of every shade
Make up their flock -- an Eyrie parade.
With downy tufts and golden beaks,
Their group is great, but each unique.
The great migration has finally come,
But the Eryies’ journey has just begun.
The soaring herd arcs over the land,
Past Haunted Woods and Lost Desert sand.
Beyond charted islands and into the bleak,
A hallowed roost is what they seek.
The young ones grow weary,
But the flock will not cease;
Not ‘til they arrive at this marvelous peak.
The place is a legend, or perhaps a mirage,
Yet nothing will stop the Eyrie barrage.
At last, the clouds part
And it comes into view;
Fyora be praised, the legends were true!
A tropical mountain so pleasant and warm
Openly welcomes the whole Eyrie swarm.
With paradise found,
They are ready to rest
And at last they have found
A safe place to nest.

Ancient Eyrie Longsword
by Indulgences
Once forged in older, ancient times,
This longsword is unbreakable.
It's crafted from the finest steel.
This longsword is a miracle.
Its blade is indestructible.
It glints with lovely, golden sheen.
It's graced with sapphire on the grip.
The gemstone sparkles, shines, and gleams.
Its makers were an ancient tribe
Of Eyries who were expert in
The art of magic weaponry.
Their skills were versed and genuine.
When grasped, this longsword shimmers with
The power of its sapphire stone.
The longsword shines with aqua glow,
The purest halo ever known.
So, wield this blade in iron grips!
Although created long ago,
It's hardly brittle, weak, or frail.
It deals a hefty, painful blow!

Myrtle, The Spooky Food-Eating Eyrie
by Phoenix_through_fire
Seamstress by day and feeder at night,
she stuffs her face with golden delights.
In her heart, this is the greediest of Eyries,
washing food down with grog and strawberries.
Myrtle, her name, with feathers of blue --
Plates and forks... she eats all those, too!
A modicum of class is what she lacks,
even when she's sewing pairs of slacks.
She will win this time, that is for sure.
Her title of second place will be no more.
Determined, she believes she is worthy
before she returns
to her job at Prigpants & Swolthy.
An Eyrie to make the fattest Skeith proud,
this girl is as hungry as she is loud.
Food Club pirates might give a sneer,
but watch out, she says,
for the contest this year!
