The colours of despair;
Gripping endlessly

Uncertainty ebbs.

Look over your shoulder --

There’s a noise,

Quicken your pace;
There’s something there.
Gallop along now
To your warmly lit home
And hide away safely
Beneath the stair.

The sunlight will come
And not a moment too soon.

Simply Living The Simple Life

I'm certainly
no rich Neopet,
even with those games I play,
so I always make sure
I collect my interest
each day.
3 NP every morning's
embarrassing, I'll admit,
but I value every 'Point I have,
even the smallest bit.
I play my games
and send those scores
three times before I sleep.
When I get bored, I'd even play
a few rounds of Kacheek Seek.
I have no shop
to call my own,
but maybe I will soon.
For now, though,
I occasionally
auction off spare dubloons.
Being Neo-rich isn't everything,
I know that this is true.
I'm happy with the free food I eat
and the things my owner and I do.
My bank account
might be meager
but I don't ever protest,
because who knows,
maybe one fine day,
I'll get thousands from interest.

Color Of The Dead

Full with ready kindness to others impart
And, as the Acara's good will is without bounds,
This petite Gatherer quite astounds.

Trident in hoof, he's heralded as brave,
Marak the tall Peophin known as the Wave,
And one coastal clan he did defend
From a village's attack in a feat to commend.

Battle-ready always, the Grarrl's got much might
With Torakor the Gladiator lethal in a fight
And although innocent villages he did once sack,
He deals with villains with a clack and thwack.

Mild and gentle, Florin the Kacheek is selfless
To the core with his patience near endless
And with rake and spade the Farmer does toil
To save dying crops in nourishing their soil.

Dagger in paw, Kelland the Techo is a Thief
Thought by many to be as quiet as a leaf
In the night and he is, indeed, just as cunning
As his custom of giving to the poor is stunning.

Luminous to behold, the First to Rise sheds light
On issues and places with Siyana's powers bright
And she once warned a village of attacks by guise
Of night in lighting up like a beacon or sunrise.

A sorceress, Jerdana the Aisha casts many spells
So as to guard as Protector the place she dwells
And 'twas to keep the land of Altador from trouble
That she encased it in that famed time-bubble.

And wise and moral, it is King Altador who leads
This band and is most known for unselfish deeds
Done for the sake of those in this Hunter's care
In hopes of building a kingdom 
Safe, just, and fair.

Though it's been alone for all this time,
it still waits patiently,
hoping one day to be remembered.

and it's nearly impossible to find something,
but it still stays strong
in hopes of a hug.
Then, one day, it happens.
The box opens up
and a hand reaches down.
The plushie is picked up and once again hugged.
