A poet sits near,
Reading rhymes out loud.
He's in his costume
And definitely proud.

There's many characters
To be heard and seen.
Like the disco Moehog,
With skin that's bright green!

Today is Moehog Day,
So don't miss out!

It's great, without a doubt!

Moloch The Moehog

During a "plevent" last year,
we all got to meet
a rather rowdy bunch 
who all loved to eat.

The assorted group took part
in an event that rocked,
between Scarlet, Myrtle,
Tuffy, and Moloch.

And, while Scarlet was a monster,
that doesn't mean to say
the other three couldn't 
show up to eat again one day.

If they do, Moloch is the one
to follow next time,
a rather big Moehog
who can eat on a dime.

This Neovian citizen
will do better, barring a curse
(though, considering he came in last
it would be hard to do worse).

All the Spooky Food he can eat,
from eyeball custard to Scary Soup --
a diet like that gives the fortitude
to make a hobby of taunting Werelupes.

Watch Out For The Scary Moehog

When famous Moehogs are spoken of,
there's one that's given no love.
He's rarely mentioned out of fear
that it might beckon him to appear.

Few Neopians have seen him nearby,
and they vow that this isn't a lie.
Most consider him as an urban myth,
in order to be shocked forthwith.

It is said that he likes to steal
your energy when he needs a meal.
So, if you're feeling tired today
and you can't lift up your crochet,

you could've been his chosen prey
while you were sleeping the night away.
Those who are widely superstitious
train their Petpets to be vicious,

hoping it'll deter this vile beast
from using their energy as a feast.
Though this legend is inconclusive,
the Scary Moehog lore is obtrusive.

The Sad Story Of Marie Scarborough

Whispers of fallen leaves
Crackle beneath uncertain feet.
A graveyard of silence and of sleep
Hidden in The Haunted Woods so deep.
An eerie place one never wants to go,
And the final spot for Marie Scarborough.

A speckled Moehog she was in life.
The kind of gal who avoided pain and strife.
How she passed is unknown,
But she is more than dates written on a stone.
For, her resting place was disturbed,
And she was among those 
Who were perturbed.

In silence she glides among the trees.
She can go almost anywhere she might please,
Except she can never return home,
So, in sadness she will forever roam
Through the graveyard and to the bog.
She is eternally lost, this lone Moehog.

So, before you dig, remember her story.
You may be searching for fame and glory,
But if you disturbed where the past sleeps
Then they might be doomed to forever creep.
Trapped in a place where time doesn’t flow --
Just like the sad case of Marie Scarborough.

Bringer Of Evil

He used to lay asleep,
Down in the Desert tombs.
Escaped, he’s evil to all of us;
There’s a danger that looms. 

The Bringer, as he’s called,
Fought a war against a Bori.
They trapped this beast in ice
So that his power could not be.

But, his minions came to help,
And the Bringer back again.
Waging war on the Thieves,
He used all his men.

This is a fearful Moehog,
Which none could truly match.
All the battling was futile,
'Twas merely but a scratch.

Until one fateful day,
When Armin came his way.
The fighting proved successful,
As the Bringer did decay.

He shattered into pieces
After being frozen cold.
The war, as we know it,
We shortly start to fold.

I’d like to thank Armin
For his quite noble action.
If only he would help me
By fighting for my faction!

Poker Face

Sophistication assured,
Can you sense a weakness,
A fault in the sleekness
Of his manner and expression?
A technique so well secured.

He stares down his opponent
With nary a tick or flaw
In the perfect execution,
The bewitching distribution

In his hoof he fans them out,
Making ready for his play.
Across the table they all sweat,
Cannot tell what they will get,
When he lays three cards before them
With nothing to betray.

The audience waits in silence,
Waiting to see if he will flinch,
But he is ever-reserved,
His reputation well deserved,
Agent Double Oh Hog,
Never budging an inch.

And when the deception is exposed,
The game wrapped up slick and neat,
The Moehog will prevail,
And his challenger will fail,
Trampled in the dust
By this champion of Cheat!

The Bringer Of Night

Across the sand,
where the pyramids loom,
awaits a powerful Moehog
in a Lost Desert tomb.

The stuff of nightmares
is the Bringer of Night --
Haunting your dreams,
a legend of fright.

The guild of thieves 
once gathered to plot.
A "key to the heart"
their shady leader sought.

A map with strange symbols
was all the thieves had,
but their crafty ways
would soon lead them abroad

to where the sun scorches down
and the water is thin.
The map's next clue said:
"...awesome power lays within."

And so, with the help
of a few wicked pals,
the last resting place
of this Moehog was found.

Many years prior,
the Bringer of Night
terrorized the Bori,
and they were frozen in ice.

But now his tomb's disturbed.
His power, it grows.
Can the courage of the Bori
defeat this great foe?

The Bringer of Night
has a desire to seize
the Heart of the Mountain
and put an end to a species.

But the Bringer's one goal
was foiled by a key
held in the mittened paws
of a friend of the Bori.

Instead of victory,
he was turned into ice,
much to the disappointment
of the Bringer of Night.

Ode To Agent 00 Hog

So, you have come upon
the tricky card game of Cheat!,
where rules are nonexistent
and the players despise defeat.

There are so many levels
to play, to set as goals.
When you reach Level 8
surely you are on a roll.

You excitedly await the next opponent
and see a shadow appear.
You widen your eyes as two tusks show
and his hooves seem to leer.

Agent 00 Hog steps into the light
and you defiantly beckon him to sit.
You gulp as you gaze at your cards,
and you examine the Moehog bit by bit.

He has a golden mane, 
sunshine bright skin,
and two silvery white tusks.
You're worried that the confidence in his eyes
will keep you playing till dusk.

He suddenly slams his hoof on the table
and yells in a reverberating voice.
You cower as he shouts, "YOU CHEAT!"
and over you washes the noise.

In a tough and close drawn game
00 Hog wins, very slim.
You stalk away in anger --
seriously, how great is him?
