In The Service of Jhudora
By Sima_girl
In Faerieland, all pearly white,
Set high up in the sky,
I saw a dark, approaching storm
From the corner of my eye.
I swung around, and there it was:
A noxious cloud of heat.
My life was changed that day because
Jhudora I did meet.
I dared to flutter over there,
My wings were trembling.
It looked just like a ghostly lair
With mist and everything!
I held my breath and then I cried,
"Is anybody there?"
"Hello, my pretty!" she replied
And emerged from smoggy air.
Her eyes were glittering and black,
Her hair: long, like her gown,
Her nails were sharper than a tack,
Her lips: they formed a frown.
She asked me to do her a deed,
Said I'd be well repaid
And, out of fear and simple greed
I took up her dark trade.
I fetched her things of every sort,
From books to plain shampoo.
Impatience was her prime consort:
I served her impatience, too.
That was many years ago,
And now I'm very rich
I do her will, because I know
The powers of that witch.
Beware, or you will quite soon learn,
Jhudora can be cruel.
Help her, and you're helped in turn;
Don't, and you've played the fool.

Vroom! Slam! Crash!
By Lilmarron
Vroom! I swerve and turn,
So fast, making my insides churn,
Cruising in my blue car's fun
And this is just the first run,
Slam! I hit that yellow car
It's crinkly, bent, and marred,
I laughed just as I turned around,
Only to find that I was not safe and sound,
Speedy green car aimed for me,
I was panicked, I had to flee!
Luckily, red car interfered
As it damaged its rear,
Red car wanted payback,
Fortunately, aim I did not lack,
Crash! I scored a great eight points,
I knew with my total I could blow this joint,
But as soon as I hit Level Five
The other cars knew a better jive,
They destroyed and gave me scars
Thus ends my game of Bumper Cars!

Plushies Please?
By Queenofdogangels
"Just one more!" cried my little Kau.
"I have almost all of Plushies, but HOW?
Will I ever have every single one?
To display in my shop for fun?"
I sighed and smiled and patted her head,
"If you don't, you won't be dead."
Her eyes suddenly filled with tears,
as the shop put up
The Magical Cloud Gelert Plushie
she had been wanting for all these years.
"MOMMY! MOMMY!" she loudly cried,
"Hold that Plushie!" I screamed
with my hands open wide.
I made a big heroic leap,
and before anyone else I made the sweep.
"It's mine! It's mine!" she squealed with delight,
as she hugged the Plushie tight.
I paid for the loot and went to the shops
and layed the Plushie into a clear glass box.
I watched my Kau look in glee,
as other owners looked on enviously.
The next morning I opened the news,
and felt a small tingle from my head to my shoes.
Read the Headlines,
"ALL NEW PLUSHIES FOR SALE!"
I threw the paper and sighed, "Oh well."
"What's that?" asked my Kau from the door,
as she picked up the paper from the floor.
"NOoOoOoOo!!!" she screamed,
"What a horrible shame!
I have lost this collecting game!"
Then with bright eyes she looked up at me.
"Mom," she began, "Can I have some money?"

Jhudora's Quest
By Lil_vicky_girl
Welcome to Faerie City,
The magical place in the skies,
The sparkling pearls, so pretty!
You won't believe your eyes!
Faeries dance around gleefully,
Asking fellow Neopians on Quests,
You find them an item easily,
They might raise your pet's defence!
Everyone is happy with Faerieland Quests,
Right? Well, maybe not all...
Jhudora, the Faerie of Darkness,
Thinks her sisters just rip off us all!
She sits in her dark and dreaded lair,
With a grin that makes anyone cower,
She says, "I'll make you a deal that's fair,
For items of ultimate power!"
The offer is tempting, but what is the catch?
She smiles and says, "There is none!
You take on the Quest and I'll give you a prize,
My dear, this has only begun!"
The sickly green clouds surround you quick,
She demands you come back the next day,
You nod and run out, as you start to feel sick,
Are you earning rewards the right way?
As Jhudora sees you hurry off,
She relaxes and lays in her den,
"At last, the world will soon be mine!" She says,
"We'll see who's the Faerie Queen then!"
You go home and sit on your little bed,
Unsure of what you have done,
You hear a voice in the back of you head,
"My dear, this has only begun...."

Brain Tree
By Sonsofwar
I creep through the malevolent forest,
Looking both left and right,
For I fear I'll be drawn to the forage,
Of the denizens of the night,
I clamber over strange mushrooms,
Strange whispers come from the leaves,
I approach, as a shadow looms,
I kneel to the master of trees,
His roots reach to underground caverns,
Where the spirits of Neopets lie,
The gnarls in his bark are like chasms,
Empty sockets form his gaping eyes,
No leaves grow on his sharp branches,
Just a brain on the top of this tree,
I smile slowly, and take my chances,
He laughs, "What can you do for me?
I know all, I see all, I feel all,
More than the Faeries can tell,
Why should one so very small,
Be use to me, pray tell?"
I kneel before him with terror,
"Surely some knowledge you seek?
Maybe you've made some error,"
I tremble, so tiny and meek,
He laughs as loud as a foghorn,
"Perhaps you may be use to me,
When was the time of Eyrie Bjorn,
And where was his death?" speaks the tree,
I rush off ignoring the moaning,
Of ghosts that are writhing around,
I hear an assortment of groanings,
And reach a large hole in the ground,
Slowly something emerges,
A hideous, greyish mud-mound,
It hissed, it trembles, and lurches,
The Esophagor is what I've found,
"Find me fooooooooodsss," He spits,
His voice is a cold as the grave,
"I really is wanting Grundo Stix,
That is all, my slave!"
I rush off to the Shop Wizard,
I unload the bank of some cash,
I find someone's shop, named lil_blizzard,
Then I rush back quick as a flash,
I hand the it to the abomination,
He reaches and greedily smiles,
He devours it, an eating sensation!
Then turns, spraying Grundo flesh for miles!
He gives me the needed info.
I rush off to the tree, so wise,
I smile, speak the words I know,
"He was killed in the cliffs, 65,"
The Brain Tree screeches, then chortles,
He hands me my long-awaited prize,
He hands me 10 NPs, and a Snorkle,
Pretty cheap, for one so wise!
