What Do You Do On Neopets?

Ever been asked the thing that
Gives you the most reward?

I find it very difficult
To answer this, in truth,
The thing is I like everything,
And have done since my youth!

I collect stamps for my album,
Along with avatars and cards,
And I've always held my gallery
In the highest of regards.

I work at earning trophies
To make my lookup great,
And I feed my Neopet gourmet -- 
Although expensive -- by the crate!

I read and fish, do faerie quests,
Spend time shopping at the Mall.
How can I tell you what I do
Without saying I do it all?

Entering new captions,
Poems, stories, art.
Whenever there's a site event
I'm always taking part.

It's easier to tell you
What it is that I don't do.
The answer is there's nothing --
I do it all, and that is true!

The Order

Taste Of Magic

A taste of magic in every bite,
Faerie foods taste fluffy and light,
Made with love from Faerieland,
You'll want to eat as many as you can.

Airy textures are commonly baked by faeries,
Like the unique Air Faerie Munparaberries.
A Chocolate Cloud Cookie is also light;
I couldn't resist it with all my might.

Dark faeries make a Jhudora Jelly,
But gag at the Illusen sandwich from the deli.
Jhudora herself prefers a wrap
And likes Baked Faerie Corn as a snack.

There's dark, light, earth, or fire sundaes
Topped with a yummy sauce puree;
Faerieland ice creams are a dazzling dessert,
Hastily eating one might spill on your shirt.

My favorite are the cupcakes with icing,
Gingerbread Earth Faerie Cupcakes are enticing,
Or Fyora's famous baked goods --
I'd eat a million Fyora Day Muffins if i could.

Faerie Bonbons are a mound of sweetness,
You'll think it was the best thing to exist.
In fact, I think I'll have one now...
*takes a bite* "MMM, amazing, wow!"

Air Faerie, Full Of Beauty

Madame air faerie, again,
You give a boost of flight
In exchange for a scented soap
Whose color's just not right.

Time and time again you're shut
Away, refused, turned down,
But when you find an assistant 
I cannot help but frown.

Wond'ring how much more

Foundation your sweet face can take.
Despite what you collect,
Mirrors, too, you cannot see

I, too, refuse your wish.
I will not fetch a grooming brush --

If you're displeased, revert!
Remove the hair clips and makeup,
Show cheeks rosy and pert.

Items if you must,
But never lose sight of yourself:

Defeating Xantan

Excitement mounts within me;
I'm nearing Xantan's lair.
I zip right through the main cave
As though it isn't there.
I find the ramp that leads to
The upper temple floor.
I ask myself the question,
"Just what am I here for?
He might not even be there,
As I've already won."
Then I recall the answer:
I'm looking just for fun.
For many months beforehand
I could not find his home.
Eventually I gave up
And just began to roam.
I went around exploring,
But then, one day, I felt
Like going back and trying
To find where Xantan dwelt.
So, yesterday I found out
'Twas more there than I'd thought.
There was the ramp and stairwell,
And creatures to be fought.
I found the upper temple,
The lower, and the maze.
Then finally I saw him
And found myself amazed.
"His health is only 80?
I thought he'd have much more!"
I only had ten fewer
(Seemed like a lot before).
I'd beaten harder creatures
And barely had to try.
'Twas then that I decided,
"Foul beast, your end is nigh!"
We then began the battle.
He brushed off my absorption.
My Wall of Flame, it burned him;
He lost just one health portion.
My Snowball did no damage.
My Fire Ball stopped dead.
I didn't like my chances,
But soon I pulled ahead.
I'm glad I had so many
Health potions, for I know
They saved my life quite often
When life got rather low.
I started getting closer
To conquering the beast
And, after a short while,
I'd brought him to the least
Amount of health he could have
Ere being vanquished, for
He only had one health point,
And couldn't heal for more.
I knew one hit would beat him.
On this I reminisce:
I attacked and didn't hit;
He charged and didn't miss.
But I had health aplenty,
And Wall of Flame did rise.
It burned away one health point;
I'd brought the beast's demise!
A teleporter waited
To take me from that place.
I exited the Dank Cave,
A smile on my face.
So, now it is the next day;
Again I find his lair.
But I do not see Xantan...
Just the teleporter there.
