WOCKY DAY SPECIAL
Wock 'Til You Drop
by Chavo_guerrero
On the plateau of Tyrannia
Is a name on every lip,
A very famous rock band
Who rehearse without their script.
They're known to play some music
That will get you in the groove,
And of which the elder Neopets
will likely disapprove.
Hopping with the kids
As they lay down some great beats,
This band is really "up there"
With the musical elites.
"Wock 'Til You Drop" they call themselves,
A pun, of course, because
They're all Wockies that play this music
And await your wild applause.
You can see them every month
At the Tyrannian Concert Hall,
So if you're travelling that way,
Don't forget to give them a call.
But they'll be playing a private party
Upon this Wocky Day --
They won't be for the public,
No matter what you pay.
They'll be onstage at the grand parade,
Where only Wockies go,
And I've been told by a reliable source
It'll be an amazing show!

Wocky Warrior Outfit
by Indulgences
My favorite Wocky outfit is
The Wocky Warrior.
So tough, and also feminine,
It's something I adore!
It's rare. Not many wearables
Are female, strong and hale.
Complete with wig and ruby skirt,
It's certainly not male!
A shining sword completes its look,
Aglow with silver light.
The blade is carved with mystic signs.
It is a lovely sight!
Enjoy the Wocky's day today,
And dress your Wockies well!
Perhaps they want to be
Both warrior and belle!

Mmm, Gingerbread Wockies!
by Sugarypixiestix2
If you love Wockies and gingerbread,
here's a treat you'll want to be fed.
Gingerbread Wockies are obviously it,
which are better than a banana split.
They come in endearing Wocky shapes,
and look as if they're on a traipse.
They're almost too decadent to eat,
but to not have one would be a cheat.
You may think they're only a dessert,
but they can also be a snack insert,
being ideal if you need a pick-me-up
when you have no coffee in your cup.
These Wocky sweets make nifty gifts,
they'll give anyone numerous uplifts.
Just their smell as they are baking
can give you a fun festive shaking.
For Wockies they're very traditional,
being their stocking stuffer ritual.
No Wocky is without one as a prize,
for being good all year and so wise.

The Wocky Crusader
by Fyora_fyora__33
The Wockies, fierce and brave,
Do triumph over foes
And outfox vicious knaves
With ev’ry marking blow.
But there is one quite odd --
Some knight of sunny fuzz,
Himself he likes to laud,
The whole town is abuzz!
Oh, he’s fought once before,
Hence he’s a highly name.
Now, armour’s turned decor
For golden, bouncy mane.
He sits like a hero,
With a polished face, shield,
A gold cape of ego,
Even foes have to yield.
When arms cross their blades,
Such a gallant knight goes,
“Fellows, I can’t give aid,
But only a chesty pose!”
With ev’ry tread of pride
He shows his armour’s gold,
Polished, and shiny hide.
Who could be much more bold?
Oh knight, despite your plight,
If the world comes to fall,
You must stand up and fight --
If gall should save us all!

At The Auction House
by Treeword
One day, I stumbled upon
The Auction House,
For I had some spare change
To spend on a blouse.
I was so lost at first,
With all the goodies to see,
Till this Wocky popped up
To come assist me.
He was strange in appearance,
Floating without feet!
With turban on head,
So strange to meet.
Yet he led me past rows
Of top hats and coats,
Plushies and potions,
And all types of motes.
He cried “Alakazam,”
Which scared me a tad,
This Wocky, I thought,
Must surely be mad.
Yet, next second he held
A blouse in his paw,
This Wocky had left me
Standing in awe!

Wock 'Til You Drop
by Dr_tomoe
Wock 'Til You Drop
a command and a band
that plays in an
ancient, prehistoric land.
Wock 'Til You Drop
dance to the beat
of these heavy-metal Wockies
playing in the heat.
Wock 'Til You Drop
they play hit after hit,
and entice their fans
to make a Tyrannia trip.
Wock 'Til You Drop
just one show a month
at the Concert Hall,
which is more than enough.
Wock 'Til You Drop
they'll blow out the amp,
and are the only band
immortalized on a stamp.
Wock 'Til You Drop
might not be the best around,
but they make up in popularity
by being the most loud.
Wock 'Til You Drop
and for this Wocky Day
this should be the only
music you listen to today.

Wocky Candy Floss
by Xapplecrumble
With four tantalising flavours,
Your taste buds are in for a treat.
Simply pick your favourite color
and chow down on this yummy sweet.
You can't go wrong with apple.
Certainly, for a 'pet it is a hearty meal.
Look forward to your daily dose,
As it will fill your life with zeal.
Strawberry must be popular;
Neopets queue hours for a piece.
If only this tangy candy
Didn't make our stomachs increase!
Grape is just the best,
But take care with your teeth.
Some of the floss might just get stuck,
If your 'pet is as hungry as a Skeith!
Lastly there is blueberry,
Not as adored as the rest.
Though, it has its own virtues
As it shall always be there on request.
So, on this coming Wocky Day,
If it is sold out, don't get cross,
As many must be enjoying
The wondrous Wocky candy floss!

Softpaw, Saviour Of The Stranded
by Flufflepuff
Her paws of softest velvet crunch
So delicate on snow,
Immune to penetrating cold
Staved off by furry toes.
With eyes of darkest brown, she scans
The merciless expanse
Of white, e'er growing, trying to
Put her in a trance.
But having grown in mountains fierce,
She's no stranger to ice,
Disorienting blizzards. She
Dispels them in a trice.
Maintaining senses so acute,
Her ears perk up, alert.
Frantically, she tunnels down
To where someone lies hurt.
On her back the Chia goes,
And with her paws so soft,
The Wocky echoes winds and leaps
Down, seeming aloft.
Having ensured the safety of
The Chia, she returns
To heartless peaks, where more may be.
For doing so, she's earned
Her name: Tyrela Softpaw,
As well as long, white stripes.
Though she is legend, she won't ever
Cease to save more lives.

A Wicked Wocky
by Nebuloid
Her mane is dressed with clover
And a gentle smile on her face,
She lures you to the kiosk
With her Wocky charm and grace.
"Hello!" she says joyfully.
"Would you like to buy a card?"
You shrug and shed your Neopoints;
Surely this can't be hard!
You become more excited
With each and every scratch,
But even after six attempts
You couldn't find a match.
Defeated, you turn to leave
And return home. But then,
A voice rings out from behind:
"Would you like to try again?"
Eagerly, you approach the table
And lay your points down on the stand.
This time you are confident
And scratch with a steady hand.
With each blank space and mismatched square
You feel yourself begin to panic.
Have you been cursed? Why can't you win?
Is this some sort of black magic?!
She laughs to herself quietly
As she drains your pockets dry.
When she's finally robbed you bankrupt,
She wishes you goodbye.
You saunter off into the night
Filled with shame and sorrow.
But from behind you hear her shout:
"Remember to come back tomorrow!"

Cecile
by Nativsis
There lives a faerie Wocky named Cecile.
Dabbling in alchemy, namely of plants,
The novice carries out her work with zeal
And reaps the fruits that her endeavor grants.
At last, her toils yield what she has longed for:
A new flower of her own creation.
In hue and scent it is hard to ignore,
But she minds not, swept up in elation.
Sitting atop a nightstand, the flower
Branches out slowly first, then forthwith
Explodes across the room. Its blossoms shower
Cecile, asleep, the hapless flowersmith.
The Wocky soon wakes, her wings aflutter,
Her fur on end at the ludicrous sight.
What a stench! What a mess! What a clutter!
Inside her, regret and fear ignite.
Within days, the flowers cover the walls.
After a week, the ceiling, too, fosters
A habitat for the blossom's wild sprawl.
Poor Cecile sees what her work has cost her!
Not an ounce of her amateur enchantments
Deters her creation's floral rampage.
She leaves the room, seething with resentment,
For her hard work has done naught but damage.
The frost of winter spreads through the forest
In the months that follow Cecile's defeat.
Soon will come the day of presents promised
As the sky wells up with flurries and sleet.
On the eve of giving, Cecile decides
To visit the room she has left behind.
Scarf around her muzzle, she walks inside
And, in shock, sees her invention confined.
As if naught had come to pass, the plant rests
Inside its original clay vessel.
A sensitivity to cold, she guessed,
Had rendered the organism sessile.
Promptly the faerie Wocky searches for
A means to limit the flower's advance,
Such that history shan't repeat once more.
Inside a glass jar, it resumes its dance.
