Birthday Alabriss

Instead of treasure chest clasps shut
And opening once more,
A sound of squishing quietly
Comes through the open door.

The Alabriss’s cupcake hooves
So meekly enter in.
Though he cannot pull chariots,
He’s sure to cause a grin

Or two, with motions full of grace
And frosting.  He defies
All sorts of physics as he leaps,
And through the air he flies.

The nonpareils and sprinkles that
Do dot his icing hide
Contribute almost zero weight
To his own as he glides.

Purple eyes blinked slowly when
He journeyed from a bag
Sought after by some hungry hordes,
Who, for a price, will nag.

On cupcake hooves he tottered out
And shook his frosting mane, 
Glad to be alive and well, 
For sugar’s in his veins.

But one thing terrifies him so:
They say, at parties, he
Is lively beyond any words,
He always tries to flee.

Excuses tumble from his lips,
For it’s his life at stake.
It’s piteous to see him go:
He never stays for cake.

The Abominable Snowball

If you want a Petpet who’s easy to please,
Very low maintenance and free of fleas,
You’ll like the Abominable Snowball,
Who isn't abominable at all.

While other Petpets become ill
When the weather delivers an icy chill,
The snowball takes it all in stride
And winter’s fury is denied.

He tends to be the silent type
Who never complains and hasn't a gripe;
He stands alert with a silly grin,
And never would think of raising a din.

He’ll be a good and faithful friend,
Loyal to the bitter end;
So long as freezing cold persists,
He’ll stand with you in frozen bliss.

And when the winter bids adieu
And spring revives the earth anew,
The Abominable Snowball melts away,
But will return next winter’s day.

The Hungry Skeith

The mechanical parts creak and move
As a conveyor belt delivers the food
Through shoots and tunnels of the factory,
Into the jaws of a greedy blue beast.

Flitting and flying to and fro,
The foreman Buzz mustn't move slow.
For, he must drop the colored fare
In matching vats with utmost care. 

The hungry Skeith sits, his mouth agape;
Gluttonous habit explains his over-sized shape.
He readily scarfs down his favorite food,
But eating the others just ruins his mood!

The insatiable dragon wolfs all that's in sight,
But eating the red ones will make him ignite!	
The nasty blue jelly and gross green cake
Make his face grimace and his huge belly ache.

No other Skeith is as hungry as he;
For him, every meal must be a large feast.
He will be eating 'till the end of his days, 
And his greedy appetite is here to stay.

My Trusty Blue Poogle Flying Disc

As the weather begins to get colder,
I can feel its chill on my shoulder.
It makes me want to be outside more,
since winter will soon be at my door.

So, I grab my Blue Poogle Flying Disc
and run outside into winds so brisk.
My Neopets follow me out with smiles
as I toss it so far it soars for miles.

Enjoying the fun autumn can bring us,
I put on my jacket without any fuss.
Then I go right back to our disc game,
practising my speed, timing, and aim. 

I've had my aeronautic disc for years,
yet it still flies in perfect spheres.
You may think this toy is too plain,
until you take it outside in the rain.

It's so diverse any Neopet can use it;
they'll be unable to just watch or sit.
Not many toys are as timeless as this,
or as wonderfully easy to reminisce.

Rainbow Pool Dreams

In search of a magical fountain

I dream of a brand new coat
As I’m quite ordinary, you’ll note

Maybe I’ll be painted faerie
Or even Christmas? How merry!

There’s silver, striped, and rainbow
Starry, spotted, and even snow

I always wanted to be painted cloud
Oh, how my owner would be so proud

I once had a friend who was a Chomby
A splash in the pool and he turned zombie

Hopefully I won’t turn out grey
But if I do, it will be okay

So many possibilities await;
Just step into the waters 
And meet your fate
