Some Neopets are used to this.
Never a cuddle, never a kiss.
But Petpets have not seen this stuff.
They take one glance, then yell, "Enough!"
A mutant pet is bad, alright.
But Petpets, too? What a sight!
Their scary little fangs and claws.
What happened to their teeth and paws?
A thorny brush with greenish slime.
I try to stop my pet in time.
He strokes one stroke upon his pet.
I couldn't watch, I try to forget.
He morphed into a horrible sight,
And ran a cackling in the night.
We seached the the road and everywhere.
But all we found was mutant hair.
We asked the neighbors, we asked the Wiz.
He told us that's what happend to his.
We wandered aimlessly looking hard.
But as we walked back in our yard.
We found him whimpering near our door.
We kept him, and he's loved much more.
Although he's hideous and evil, too.
Wouldn't you want the same for you?

An Ode to Asparagus By Retnuah

With the cylindrical shape
Of these versatile plants,
Who knew a simple crop
Could be so grand?
With its dynamic flesh
And interesting appearance,
Consuming Asparagus
Will never be bland.

Magnificent on pizza,
Superb in pie,
No matter how you have it,
You'll love this little guy.
Cover with cheese,
Or roll up in a ball,
But let's not forget
The best method of all:
Squeeze out the juice
And add chocolate and mint,
To get that Asparatastic Crunch
Surely you'll sprint!

Asparagus is definitely
Nature's Candy for us,
If your Neopets like it, too
That's a definite plus.

Zafara Day is here, finally!
It's been a long time, truthfully.

Will there be new items for my pet?

It's a frightening day for all the others
They are just jealous, for one reason or another.

Maybe it's the new colors
Us Zafaras are getting?
Could it be the new artwork
In the Art Gallery, sitting?

Whatever the reason may be,
One thing's for sure
All these free gifts, toys, and moves...
What a lure!

The other pets will
Just have to wait in line
Because on the 3rd day of Awakening,
It's Zafara time!

Green and slender,
Crisp and beautiful,
Delicious, crunchy.

Adorned on many
Neopet items.
Asparagus cake is the BEST!

"Please mom, oh please!" I beg.
"Will you serve Asparagus for dinner?"

Stuffed in my lunch box
Almost falling out.
My friends look at me with weird faces.

"Mesh Afrrgs!" I mumble
Out of a mouth full of
The wonderful vegetable.

I swallow and say...

"IT'S ASPARAGUS!!!"

There is a new restaurant in town,
It's rated so well, it won't let you down.
But if you can't get into The Golden Dubloon,
Don't count on eating there anytime soon.

The only problem with this fine place,
Is occupancy, their biggest case.
This building is very tiny,
So no one has room for their hiney!

No more than forty will be able to dine,
So no wonder there is a line.
There are many food items
That you can choose from,
And The Golden Dubloon
Is the only place you can get some!

So travel by plane, car, or boat,
To the place where the staff can gloat,
About their job at The Golden Dubloon,
But get there fast, or you won't get in 'til June!
