Chef At Spooky Food's
by Sharnee_sparkle

I have been offered a new job
Within the spooky Haunted Woods,
Every customer's a slob,
Food is classified as "goods!"

The ingredients are quite foul,
Often past their use-by date,
Most make me want to scowl,
The kitchen's such an unclean state!

Despite the awful menu,
Customers seem to be quite pleased,
With many a good review,
Yet, into dishes, cooks have sneezed!

I really should complain
To the hygeine security,
I know it'd be humane,
But I don't possess maturity!

Would you care for Fried Worm Stew,
or perhaps some Pickled Eyeballs?
I doubt you'd join the queue,
For you might even find some mothballs!

Some things here that I've seen
Are, honestly, rather atrocious.
This place's haunted; ghosts have been,
And I'm certainly not precocious!

If you have an acquired taste,
You may even enjoy it...
For throwing out is such a waste,
That's why, my job, I wont quit!

The Gallant Space Faerie
by Luccayn

I know of a sprite; sly yet merry
Whose generous gifts, they do vary.
Her scintillating pants
Are reason to dance.
I present to you: the Space Faerie!

Adorned in her crimson and navy,
With electric hair -- puckish and wavy,
She fights through the night
With power and might...
So strong, she could cure Shaky Flakys!

She zealously defends the nation
From Dr. Sloth’s vile devastation.
Her skills are robust,
Her motives are just.
She’s Neopia’s steadfast salvation.

Speeding through space, she flies
With fiery sparks in her eyes.
As quick as a moth,
She defeats Dr. Sloth,
And tops it off with battle cries.

If you ever should battle her, know
There is not a more passionate foe.
In the 'dome, she outshines;
Some might say she blinds.
But, among the stars, she does glow.

Ode To The Magma Pool Guard
by Meowclopspurrcat

He remains before the Magma Pool,
Sending away every fool
Who dares to ask for a dip in the heat
Without understanding the origin of this treat

The pool guard allows those who are wise
To take a dip in the pool before his very eyes.
“Those well-versed in Moltara’s ways,” he says,
“May be the only ones to dip in the red.”

He looks for the historians of Moltara’s past,
Those who may speak
Of the events that passed
To lead to the wonderful world down below;
He bars the entrance to those who don’t know.

If you catch him asleep, though,
That’s another route.
You may be able to sneak past him
Without a clout.
But to do so, however,
You must know the right time;
Unfortunately, finding it isn’t so sublime.

But, if you only complete his task,
He’ll let you walk past if you kindly ask.

He only wants you to be educated --
Honestly, it isn’t that complicated.
Yet, when I come forward, why won’t he
Let my 'pets take a dip in his fiery sea?

The Perilous Catacombs
by Kaddiez

Encompassed on the outskirts
Lay the crypts of yesteryears.
Beneath the ruins beyond Neovia
Dwell mystifying fears.

Relics of aristocrats,
Disciples of taboo arts.
Union with the darkness
Wrenched their prominence apart.

Their legacy built on corruption,
Remaining riches sealed away.
Buried in the farthest depths
Of a tomb no soul risk stray.

Centuries took their toll,
Few fools dared embark inside.
Vaults became the catacombs
When no being left alive.

Horrors plague every corner,
Ancient runes inscribe the walls.
If spells or spectres extend mercy,
The curse of time will cause the fall.

Wander past the beaten path,
Behold the perilous catacombs.
Wishes granted of endless treasures
And the desire to pass alone.

Curse Of Fatigue
by Flufflepuff

Incantations, artefacts,
Within the old (but still intact)
Catacombs contain a lapse
Of energy: fatigue.

Depending on what you may choose,
The door in front could be a ruse.
You'll get some treasure, but you'll lose
Your strength, become fatigued.

While trying to reach the bottom first,
Opening doors, you're often cursed
With what's widely called the worst
Of spells: Curse of Fatigue.

You have no choice, waiting's a must.
You'll wish you hadn't picked to bust
The door to those who've lost your trust
And cursed you with fatigue.

You can't go on and try to scream,
But you're more tired than you seem.
You wait together as a team
And curse the Curse of Fatigue.

At last, recovered, well-rested,
You dart downstairs, and are quite fed
Up: the monster's gone ahead!
Darn that Curse of Fatigue!

Gritting your teeth, you hurry, glide
With monster hunters by your side.
You know the monster cannot hide
So long as you're not fatigued.
