The Many Uses Of A Fuzzy White Towel
by Sharnee_sparkle

A Fuzzy White Towel seems plain at first,
But it possesses many uses,
So don’t throw it away if you obtain one,
I don’t want to hear your excuses!

It could wipe away the tears of a Lupe
Who has been abandoned in The Pound,
It could make an impromptu
Diaper for a baby Draik,
Though I doubt you’ll find many around!

It could be fashioned into a bag for a traveler
Who has not many goods to carry;
It could be used to wrap a birthday present,
Unless the gift is a large galley!

It could be used to dry stacks of dishes
After a hearty winter meal;
It could be shredded and used as stuffing
For a toy -- the young owner will squeal!

It could be sewn into a pair of socks
To prevent heels from getting blisters;
It could soak up a dripping Borovan spill,
That occurred because
Of the fights of your sisters!

It could heal a wound from the Battledome
That your 'pet got from a tough contender;
It could be used to wipe away the drool
After, to Chai Tea Cake, you did surrender!

It could become the flag of Faerieland
To use in the annual Altador Cup,
It could whack pesky Draphlies at a picnic,
Rather than smashing your aunt’s teacup.

It could be used as a sun shade on holidays
When you are visiting Mystery Island;
It could be used as an effective parachute
When jumping off the highland!

Although I’ve come to the end of my list,
I’m sure that there are plenty more ways
To be creative with your towels...
If not, you could exchange it for mayonnaise!

Snow Faerie
by Smile1_0

Silence
A fragile word
Like freshly fallen snow
The edges, frost-crisped -- threatening
And break.

Come close,
To the Mountain
From steep cliffs, your first breath
Of wintery wind -- look in her eyes!
Ice Blue.

My quests
Are not simple;
Only some are worthy,
For most come for power and wealth
To fail.

Seek it!
Claim what you will,
But bring me what I want;
Show me to trust you again,
Through time and time,
Prove it to me!
Or else.

Weary
Ages have past
And the white snow falls.
My spells are weakening,
I sigh.

A Guide To Everything 8-Bit
by Indulgences

A background of the Mystery Isle
Depicts a land that's green and wild;
An ocean winds from left through right,
The stone heads are an awesome sight.

The 8-Bit Mushroom's cool, as well.
When worn, you fall beneath its spell.
A trinket that's the prettiest,
It sparkles like an amethyst.

The 8-Bit Moehog Plushie's dear.
Its hue is garnet, full of cheer;
A shock of hair is grey and tall.
I hug it close, I'm so enthralled.

The Snowchomby is sparkling blue
And bright like diamonds, white and true.
A trinket won at Christmas time;
It's made of ice and so sublime!

The 8-Bit Staff is regal gold
And quite bedecked with ruby globes.
It glistens in the morning sun;
Its elegance will leave you stunned.

A potion that will power-up
And change your 'pet on its lookup
Will turn your 'pet into some squares;
Your 'pet will now be 8-Bit fair.

The 8-Bit Mossy Rock is boss;
A rock that's overgrown with moss.
A trinket that is grey and green --
The cutest sight that's ever seen.

The 8-Bit Altachuck is new;
I love its clever 8-Bit hue.
The 8-Bit Ukali is sweet;
I must admit, they're all so neat.

These 8 new items make me smile;
They're lovely and they do beguile.
Go buy yourself some 8-Bit things...
You'll love them more than anything.

The Friendly Cultist’s Appreciation Of The Toes
by M14mouse

Oh, toes!
How do I love thee...
You come in many forms and shapes,
Especially if I have to wrap you up in tape.
Some are big and small,
Perfect for wandering through the mall.
Some are flat and some are not;
Some are cold and some are hot;
Some have nails and some do not...
Some are even boiled in a pot!
Some 'pets have many and some have one.
I often wish that I had a ton!

You allow me to run and play --
Hit on those doors that are in the way!
You allow me to reach that shelf up top.
Maybe, even with a little hop.
You allow me to turn and twist
To Sticks and Stones's Greatest Wish;
You allow me to decorate
With a little paint here and there.
Curl up in socks with gentle care;
You allow to me feel the grass under my feet
And water in the deep.
You are wiggly and tickly,
And a tad bit prickly.

I feel sorry for the 'pets that have none.
Oh, toes how I love thee...
Each and every one.

Ode To The Esophagor
by Doorknob39

Red, pulsating eyes, glowing like starved coals,
Viscous green skin pulled apart at the seams,
The monster lays, with a neverending hunger.

It haunts me in my sleep,
Macabre visions
Of skeletons dance in my dreams,
Thinking about the neverending hunger.

I shudder -- walking to the grocery store,
Having tea at high noon,
Taking a dip in the Rainbow Fountain,
Contemplating the neverending hunger.

The grisly voice speaks
With a tone like rough-grit sandpaper,
Making known his neverending hunger.

I startle, realizing my worst fears,
My most horrific nightmares, are coming true,
Hearing about the neverending hunger.

Quivering, I drop an Almost Gummy Rat,
A Spooky Gooplecream, a rare Blumaroo Steak.
Trying to satiate the neverending hunger.

With a rumbling of his stomach
And a contented sigh,
I saw the evaporation
Of the neverending hunger.

With a gratuitous token in hand
And some newly-found knowledge,
I walked away,
More at ease with the neverending hunger.

But, until the rumbling of his stomach
Is no more,
And those red eyes
Have shut tightly in contentment,
I will forever be wary
Of the Esophagor's neverending hunger.
