I Love To Wear My Friendly Slorg Gloves

Every morning that I step out my door,
putting on my gloves is never a chore.
Because the pair I own has personality,
which truly shows off my individuality.

I'm very happy when it's cold outside,
since wearing my gloves gives me pride.

I'm sure you've all heard about
The Home for Socialized Slorgs,
Run by my Cybunny BeWitchy
And kept strictly secret from Florg!

BeWitchy's run the Home for years
In honor of her very own Petpet,
Purty Peculiar the Royal Slorg,
Which she protects from every threat.

(Such as that hungry Turmaculus,
Whom we don't visit anymore...
As well as staying clear of beaches
And the salty sands of the Forgotten Shore.)

BeWitchy's been gathering her Slorgies
And a couple of Slorgclops, too.
She spends hours with them every day...
But today she discovered something new!

One of her oldest Slorg friends,
It might have been Hank, Joe, or Max,
Was looking a little bit wrinkly
And his grin had started to collapse.

Who knew that Slorgs could grow elderly
After years of kind, loving care?
(There are rumors 
A Petpet Paint Brush was involved,
But BeWitchy says that no one would dare!)

So, my Cybunny has me putting in a ramp
Next to the steps of our Neohome,
And I'm increasing the size of all of the signs
So the Slorgs know where it's safe to roam.

I'll admit the Elderly Slorgs are quite cute
As they mumble about soup and the weather...
But I thought we were running 
A day care of sorts;
A retirement Home is 
Something else altogether!

Slorg Hat

The Slorg Hat's adorable. I love it to bits.
It's slimy with mucus and greasy with spit.
Two really cute eyeballs adorn its yarn top.
They wink and they blink 
And they flutter nonstop.

I love this blue hat and I wear it with pride.
It's squishy and warm, and it's gooey inside.
Although it smears mucus all over my hair,
The Slorg Hat is lovely. I don't have a care!

When wearing this hat at my station at work,
My co-workers think that I'm nuts and berserk.
They don't understand my addiction to goo.
They stare at me oddly. They haven't a clue.

The Slorg Hat is lovely. It's special, unique.
It's one of a kind, and it's stylish and chic.
I'll wear this hat daily, until it's worn out.
I'll then buy another... I never will pout!

Slorg's Sonnet

Today we celebrate Slorg Day,
But can the Slorgclops join in, too?
He is terribly similar,
But he's not a Slorg, it's true.

But not a Meowclops, either,
So where does he fit in?
Let's let him join the disco,
So he can dance and spin.

I know that he's not gooey,
And has a bit more fur,
And instead of making squishy sounds
You can often hear him purr.

But he still belongs with other Slorgs
And deserves to have his day,
Hooray for Slorgs and Slorgclops,
Is what I often say!

And though he only has one eye,
And is adorned with claws,
I think we should be giving him
A welcoming applause.

Huzzah, yippee for Slorgclops,
For Slorgs hip-hip-hooray!
Let's throw them all a party,
On this fantabulous Slorgclops Day!

The Slorg Play Pen

Faerie Slorg

Above the tops of ancient trees,
Against the cloudless sky,
Soars a small, swift, salmon shape
That wasn't meant to fly. 

Over mountains, under sky, 
The Faerie Slorg doth glide,
Greeting each ethereal
Figure of her kind.

Like a Beekadoodle's wings,
Her wings of gossamer
Flit so quickly and powerf'lly 
That they become a blur.

Zooming clear across the blue, 
She flaps her wings to prove
That o'er her cousins of the earth,
She floats so high above.

Once in a while, the Faerie Slorg 
Descends to Meridell
To feast upon, with other Slorgs,
Marrows ripe enough to sell.

Folding up her pale blue wings,
The hungry Slorg tucks in.
Though she has wings, her Slorg nature
Compels her from within. 

Gazing at her fellow slimy
Shapes scarfing the greens,
The faerie grinned, for she belonged 
To Marrow-munching teams.

How To De-Slorg Your Farm!

It’s not as easy as it seems.
Slorg-B-Gone causes them no harm;
It only gives them sweet dreams.

Now, what you need is something stronger,
Something that’ll make ‘em cry.
They shouldn’t be a problem any longer
If you give onions a try.

And if that doesn’t work, oh well...
There’s more that you can do.
Try ringing one hundred bells
Or shouting at them, "BOO!"

If those pesky Slorgs stick around,
You needn’t lose hope!
Sprinkle Sneezle Powder on the ground,
They’ll never be able to cope.

And if none of that does the trick,
You’re really in a crunch.
You’ll have to get out of there quick
Before they have you for lunch!
