Dearest Sparky

Beloved little buddy, a furry blue pup
Ascended on wings and, to the sky, flew up.
A loyal old pal from beginning to end,
Coltzan was lucky to have Sparky as a friend. 

They shared many memories over the years,
But now thinking of Sparky only brings tears. 
The desert king’s heart aches from the loss.
Perhaps, one day, their paths again will cross.   

Sparky’s spirit stretches far and wide;
To feel his presence, just close your eyes.
The Lost Desert sun is his warm old grin,
And his playful ways can be felt in the wind.

Coltzan is strong even as he cries, 
He is happy to have known Sparky
Despite the saddest of goodbyes. 

Time will mend the aching sorrow,
The sun will shine on a happier tomorrow. 
This sad farewell touched 
The great and the small
And so, Sparky’s memory lives on in us all.

I Have To Feed My Gnorbu

There’s every game that I could imagine,
I don’t know what to play,
For I must win some Neopoints 
To feed my Gnorbu today! 

First I’ll put some crooks away
In Trouble at the National Neopian;
I’ll press the right keys and earn some gold --
Oh, isn’t life utopian?

Then, I’ll knock down some blocks
In Destruct-O-Match II,
But quick, I have to beat the clock
To feed my poor Gnorbu.

Oh no! Is he lying?
I ask myself in Cheat!
Meanwhile, I am trying
To get the others beat! 

Yes, I could play games all day,
But now it’s off to bed.
No matter what my parents say,
My Gnorbu is my best friend.

Stock Market Woes

One day, you'll see good things happen.
Sigh.
How can I believe that, 
when I can only see red?
One day, you'll be able 
to hold Neopia in your paw,
she said.
She said good things would happen.

Now, it's all I can do
to scrounge up a few laughable Neopoints 
and head down to the pharmacy 
just to folly up enough courage 
to ask for some medicinal soap at a lesser price
to get rid of this Neomonia 
I must have gotten from 
not getting enough sleep, 
from worrying and 
worrying about the red, the black, 
the rarely green of the
stock market.

Mom, you 
promised me we would be rich.
"Only 15,000 a day" it would cost, you said, 
and we could improve our Neopoints 
by four-hundred-per-cent. 
Now, we have made negative percents 
and it doesn't make sense why.
We've earned three million Neopoints but have
nothing
(nothing)
to show for it except 
negative twenty-five percent. 

Sometimes I sleep, and
dream about the green; 
the four-hundred-percents, the sense, 
the day when we can sell 
a sensible amount to afford 
more than the Fleapit Motel.

"One day," she said,
"you'll be in the
AstroVilla,
and I'll buy you a 
Meowclops."
One day, when we're in the
