Edna By Luckyladybug01

Into the arena the dark shadow fell,
And heavy steps followed behind.
I turned to the figure but couldn't see;
The bright sun was making me blind.

Surely it was fearful, evil, and mean!
Its robes were as black as pitch!
The sun went away, and I squinted to glimpse-
The challenger was Edna the Witch!

"What are you doing here?" I asked her then.
"Why aren't you up in your tower?"
She raised her arms in a menacing way,
And prepared to unleash all her power.

It was strange to see old Edna this way;
I wasn't sure whether to fight or flee.
She reached deep into her robes and then-
She flung a banana at me!

"What is all this?" I said, getting pelted
With a blue skateboard and orange juice.
She cackled and hit me with a ball of red yarn;
I could tell Edna's screws had come loose.

All I could do was laugh my head off,
Which just made her madder by the minute.
I knew that when she went back to her tower
It'd be a long time til I was welcome in it.

I was laughing too hard to fire my weapons,
So I actually lost the fight that day.
While I wasn't hurt, I'll tell you this,
I'll never look at yarn the same way!

Ice Cream Factory Blues By Zucchini55

Mouse in hand, can't wait to move,
Dodging scoops-green, pink, and blue,
Starts out slowly, they're no trouble,
I keep winning, they pass on the double.

I lean left, and they fly right by,
Missed me again, I get a high five!
Try to grab onto the minus signs,
It slows them down, left easily behind.

Ooh how I want that cute, little guy,
Makes me small so I can squeak by,
The scoops they are now flying fast,
Can I hope to outplay and outlast?

Looking grimmer, they whiz by me,
Flying so fast I can hardly see,
Oh my, they have stepped up the pace,
SMACK! I got one right in the face!

Game is over and I'm all done,
Just how many points have I won?
All that work and this is it?
Less than half is my little bit?

It's a love/hate relationship!

Kauvara the Kau and Potions Master
By Gallop1988

One day I came across her store,
I saw her working and watched in awe,
Her agile hooves were moving fast,
Her knowledge of potions was oh-so-vast,
She shook and mixed and whipped and poured,
That Kau looked like she never got bored!
Her potions bubbled and she worked faster,
Kauvara the Kau and potions master!

It was getting dark so I hurried home,
Thinking if she would give us a loan,
Her expensive equipment for two weeks or three,
For studying it would be the key,
I had a brainwave; would she be resistant?
For every great Kau needs an assistant!
I though about her while eating pasta,
Kauvara the Kau and potions master!

The very next day feeling so scared,
I went to her store, but I was prepared,
I showed her my skills from the books I had read,
Ingredients I know from the top of my head,
In brave desperation two bottles I grabbed,
To mix up a potion she'd see while I blabbed,
But alas, they exploded as soon as I tried,
Leaving me and the room partially fried,
In front of my hero I had made a Big Blaster,
Kauvara the Kau and potions master!

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" I sulked and I cried,
But the Kau came over; my tears she dried,
"That's okay for now, but remember little Koi,
Potions are not to be used as a toy.
Perhaps you should study much more," she said,
"So all this wisdom will stay in your head.
So if you learn more, perhaps, we'll see,
Maybe then you can work for me."
She went to work again with a friendly smile,
"I'll see you again in a little while!"

Mighty Monocerous By 4nne

"Amongst a dark and shadowed dome,
Brave and fearless for I roam.
Grinning teeth and binding claws,
Open eyes and hanging jaws.

I am coming, for my rage,
Left upon a silenced cage,
You brave warrior draw your sword,
But you will lose," the Monocerous roared!

I approached him, Attack Fork and all,
But compared to him, I felt so small.
Up I looked, my thoughts drifted…
Hidden fears were too twisted.

I made my move, and missed the boar,
He rammed me hard against the floor.
I got a sudden sickly tone,
And the planet shook, from his angered groan.

He kicked at me, and made me whine,
I knew this victory could not be mine.
For he spewed at me with all his might,
And I was forced to lose the fight.

Now I wonder if ever there be,
Someone who can defeat the Monocerous, thee.
And yet, though I tried hard, it was quite fun.
So to start a new fight - the fun has begun.

What A Chia's Gotta Do By Bunnygirl1987

I see the Lupes licking their chops
And making a broth for me
They drool and groan for my soft, sweet flesh
But I don't want them to eat me!

What a Chia's gotta do is cry out
And tell the world how hard it can be
To be a Chia, chewy and young
Locked up in a cage, longing to be free

But the Lupe pack's got another plan
And they sharpen their long knives
To mince me, dice me, fry me, chew me
Garnish me with onions and chives

What a Chia's gotta do is run away
Bust down the trapdoor, and scram!
'Cuz if I don't, well then I'll be
Nothing more than ham!

But the Lupes are hungry, it seems
And they come to the trap that I'm in
With bibs and plates, and forks and spoons
It's obviously time to din

What a Chia's gotta do is stand tall and proud
Facing the end like we ought
And stand strong in the frying pan
You're the meal that they've long sought

The Lupe comes close
He opens the door
I peer out
And I jump to the floor

I'm free!

Sorry Lupes, no Chia tonight!
By the time you come here
I'll be out of sight
But, hey, you've plenty of garnishes!
