Sandwiches: More Toppings, Less Bread!
by Vinetos

Adorable Slorgs
When put inside a sandwich
You are so yummy.

Towering so high
The Mega Tuna Sandwich
That's a lot of fish.

Mystery Meat food
Tentacles, bugs on a bun
Wherefore art thou from?

Mhm, Cheese Star Sandwich
Cheese tastes better shaped like stars
None left is the proof.

Draik Cracker Sandwich
Healthier than a Draik egg
Less Neopet, too!

Seared Salmon Sandwich
Scoff, swallow, scrumptious sammich
Such a superb snack!

Mega Meat Sandwich
You look like you're chewing
Chicken bones and all!

An Ode (?) To Artists On Vacation Day
by Auraichadora

Now, I don't disagree;
Even the artists need a day away,
So someone had to fill in
While they went out to play.

I'm not denying, not everyone can draw,
But everyone can be creative and goofy,
So, thanks to the Content team,
For your items of strange and... poofy?

I never thought that such things could exist!
But I guess it's always a possibility,
Especially since our creativity is so vast,
And everyone has that wonderful ability.

And, to their credit, I must agree,
These items are definitely interesting!
Food as weapons, changing lights,
And a big BOOM,
And an adorable Florg, that's really something!

I personally loved the foreground in the mall;
Whoever animated it must have gone crazy.
I know I would be after seven hours of work,
And I've done it before -- I know it's not easy!

Funnily enough,
I'd love for this to happen again,
Since I did get a good chuckle,
But I think we can agree
One day a year is enough...
Any more and it just wouldn't be special!

So, thank you Content team
For filling in on such short notice,
And when the artists come back
And see your work,
I hope they don't get too jealous!

Worldwide
by Noodle14070

I calmly enter the zone,
Feeling strong with the weapons I own.
Then I look at my foe,
I feel I really should go
As I let out an obvious groan.

As he holds the Ghosterkerbomb
Quite calmly in his palm,
I swallow a lump in my throat
and shiver even though I’m wearing a coat.
How could I have stayed calm?

Proudly wielding my snowball,
I cringe as he types in "LOL."
Charging with a loud war cry,
Hoping I won’t get a black eye,
We fiercely start the brawl.

It, not surprisingly, was over quite fast,
With only one painfully quick blast.
Glaring at the bruiser,
I felt like a loser,
But left that fight in the past.

Leaving the dome with pride,
There really was no reason to hide.
But as everyone looks at me,
I suddenly start to see,
The fight was cast worldwide.

Harris Haikus
by Pillarbox

He jumped up, scrabbling,
Seeking purchase on dark wood
Paws reaching forward.

The Harris climbed up
Over the twigs and branches
Leaves falling downward.

Sun shone on soft fur
On a leafy pedestal
The tired Petpet smiled.

That Game Of Bagatelle
by Wise_words

The woods of haunts and ghastly sight,
Forever stuck in looming night,
Have a tale to tell.
A story of a great Kacheek
Who braved the monsters once a week
For a round of Bagatelle.

His name was Trent, his game was chance.
He cast one longing, desperate glance
To the sun as it fell.
He kept his pace and clenched his jaw,
Then ran until his legs felt raw,
To play some Bagatelle.

Whispers of the ghoulish kind
Stayed by his side -- he paid no mind
Of monster goods they wished to sell.
He said, “No thanks, I save my earnings
And use them for my constant yearnings
Of playing Bagatelle.”

He approached the fairgrounds, dark and torn,
And passed an Aisha, old and worn,
Who wished his journey well:
“You’ve come this far! Please do your best
And fortune will handle all the rest
As you play Bagatelle.”

He smiled and, with a wave of his hand,
He approached the daunting stand --
His fears he could not quell!
He paid his dues then grabbed his ball,
A tiny Mootix that could fall
And win him Bagatelle.

Dear Trent! He threw the Mootix high
And -- plop! -- it landed with a sigh.
Then Trent let out a yell.
The Mootix landed on the golden star
And Trent was glad he’d trekked so far
For the jackpot of Bagatelle.
