The Altador Cup is Back!

I had nothing to do, until I remembered,
The Altador Cup is back at last!
It's my favorite time of the year,
And it has been for many years past.

I must confess: I cannot wait,
To play some Yooyuball.
Whether or not we score the most?
That's the other team's call.

I'll sling slushies as fast as I can,
I'll try my best to help my team.
I will not stop until we win,
And when we do, I can't help but beam.

I tap my keyboard rapidly,
Telling my Techo to shout!
I tell him to wave his hands in the air,
To show them what we're all about.

I try to entice the yellow Chia,
Tell him to move out of the way.
I know my team, Maraqua, will win,
We'll win one of these days.

Darigan Citadel for the Cup!

In old pastoral Meridell,
above the soft blue sky,
there hovers our proud Citadel
and there we all stand by.
For our team's on the ground now,
in Altador's half-dome:
the stadium where our team will win
and bring the gold Cup home.
Up here, we have drown restless.
Our victory is long overdue.
In that giant stadium
our merit will be proven true.
The years may have come and gone
but not our taste of glory.
The team's trained hard and plays to win.

Just An Ordinary AC Poem

A yummy ice-cold slushie
A ball into a goal.
A screaming screaming crazy fan and
Shiny CUP not BOWL.

A hurry scurry waiter
A player sweating fast.
Fanatics trying to scream as
The ball sails in at last.

A young red Tuskaninny
A rolling yooyu ball.
A blue Techo who's yelling
“COME ON, GIVE IT YOUR ALL!”

Orange and purple banners
And black and orange too.
Ac CUP-cakes eaten galore
I wear yellow and blue.

Altador Cup is here and
There is no time to waste.
Start cheering for your favorite team
Let's go and let's make haste.

It's super duper easy
To come join in the fun.
Come join us here and play
In "the land under the sun."

The Very First Goal

My searing blood, which was pumping,
My aching heart, which was thumping.
Crowds of people, were all staring, 
Bright team colors they were wearing.

A trickle of sweat cascaded, 
For a moment, everything faded.
It was just me and the yooyuball,
The moment of truth, my becking call.

With one swift move, it was done,
Into the air, the yooyuball spun.
The noise it made, when it hit the net.
In that moment, I had no regret. 

Screams of joy, filled the dome,
I had never been more at home.
I was no longer the beginner.
Now I was, my own heart's winner.
