The Jelly Chia
By Empiscool
The night is silent,
No noise at all,
A shadow creeps
On my bedroom wall,
I can hear someone
Far away,
Although that sound
Cannot be heard by day,
That old Chocolate Factory
So still, so cold
It is dark and dank,
With bits of foul mold,
I creep out of
My warm, safe bed,
Into that factory
That I so much dread,
I run out of my house
And into the night,
To investigate,
With my trusty flashlight,
I see something,
Bouncing my way,
I couldn't think
Of anything to say,
Was it an Usul? An Uni?
No, it was Ahh!
Jelly Chia...

The Trading Post
By Orcabreach
I browse through each
of the many lots,
looking all about,
until I find a friendly deal,
for a pretty fair amount.
Bottled Sand and green Palm Fans,
Petpets, Plushie poogles,
so many lots to investigate,
I'd say about a google.
I make a trade with someone else,
50 points for seven snowballs,
then continue browsing 'round,
much better than the real malls.
However, even though so great,
it never holds this seal,
a Bag of Infinite Neggs
on the newest 20 deal.
The Trading Post's my favorite place,
of all them in Neopia,
I love it so, it's so much fun,
it's always great to seea.

Switch-A-Roo Blues
By Alienzoe513
The game, Switch-A-Roo.
Eighty-five's the bet, going
For stupidly fast.
For this time I know
Somehow I'll win the big lot.
The game of chance starts.
It goes to the left,
To the right, then the middle.
Or maybe he switched.
The tension comes, with
The switching coming faster.
Finally, he slows.
He's done, I say, "Right."
Slowly he lifts the brown shell.
It's there... yes, I've won!

Coltzan's Shrine
By Luckyladybug01
With tentative, silent steps
Her paws sinking into the warm sand
My Shoyru approaches the shrine
Anxiously, cautiously
Waiting and listening.
"Was Coltzan a good king?"
She wonders aloud
And her voice seems so small
In the vastness of the desert.
*Come, my young Neopet*
She hears a voice say
It is almost like a whisper
Almost like the wind
Almost like a song
She approaches the pillar
Looking at the engravings in the stone
Worn by time and weather
She closes her eyes
Hears a rushing sound
Feels a surge of power all around
*I hope this helps*
Says the voice
And now she is stronger
She casts her gaze upward
Catches a glimpse of a face
A noble face
A phantom face
Then it fades from sight
"Thank you," she whispers
And turns in the sand to come home.

My Trip To The Wishing Well
By Xxrockergurl
As I walk to the Wishing Well
Full of joy
I make my donation
50 Neopoints for a toy
I fell asleep waiting
For my wish to be granted
I ended up having a dream,
The little birds chanted
My Pets are all happy jumping with glee
Except one,
She's nervous and sweating like me
I watched as she got up
And ran over to the Wishing Well
She suddenly tripped
On a long brown stick and fell
She tumbled right into
The red bricks
And hurt her head
The brick walls of the well
Had squashed it
Like it was bread
She started to cry
And cry and cry
To get her to the hospital on time,
I'm going to have to try
I set off for the hospital,
My Zafara in my hands
We passed by all those
Annoying street playing bands
As I looked down at my Zafara
To see if she had calmed down
I saw her look at me
With a little frown
I didn't know if she
Was going to be alright
For looking at her bleeding
Was such a dreadful sight
At last! We reached the hospital,
I was so happy
The nurse came and grabbed my Zafara
Which, by the way, is named Frappy
Almost two hours later
They walked out of the room
The nurse had wrapped her wound
And told me she would recover soon
My little Zafara, now feeling cured
Made a little sweet noise,
Almost as if she had purred
I thanked the nurse
And paid my fee
I walked into my house
And drank some tea
I laid my little Zafara
On the bed
With her little brown teddy bear
Called Ted
I finally opened my eyes,
But what do I see?!?
It's a Wishing Well
Right in front of me
Oh, I guess I was in a dream
But now I stare down
And there's a toy, colored cream!
