Red, green, yellow, pink, and blue
Carefully she sets them down,
Each as precious as a crown

Straighten bandanas, tighten bows --
All set in a perfect row,
Soon shoppers will come and pay
For a precious plush with which they'll play

The clamor grows louder -- they just can't wait!
They all must be early, for she isn't late,
The clock ticks down the seconds,
She ties her hair up tight...

One, two, three, four...

I'm waiting in the Chocolate Shop
For the shelves to all restock,
Trying to see if I'm lucky --
If I can get an avatar to unlock.

Turns out I'm not brilliant
At this tough restocking game,
I don't think I'll succeed at this,
And that really is a shame.

I must quickly buy an item
With a nice, high rarity,
A sweet that is a gourmet food,
If the avatar I'll see.

But I'm not quick on the buttons,
And the chocolate's all sold out,
Seems I'll never get this,
My heart is full of doubt.

Then suddenly -- a restock!
What's that in the corner there?
A Mint Chocolate Blumaroo!
I don't have time to stare.

Click as quickly as I can,
Throw Neopoints their way,
"Congratulations on your purchase,"
This has really made my day!

As well as a nice profit,
The avatar shines for me!
Now to use it on the Neoboards
So everyone can see!

Neither one backing down.

An object of great power,
An object of great laughter,
Air against land,
Flight against comedy.

A time when Neopets gather around,
A time to share in an event,
Friends and foes alike
All crowd in one place.

Three health points left for each opponent,
Three health points away from victory for one,
A wrong move could mean a loss,
A correct move could mean 
A winner's celebration.

The victor stands tall,
The victor stands proud,
A howling erupts,
The crowd exclaims.

The loser retreats,
The loser slinks back,
Hiding the shame
From the Neopets in the crowd.

After the winner breaks free,
After the winner receives their prize,
They visit the loser
And give words of advice.

“Never give up,
Never give in,
There is a winner in all of us,
Just try again.”

The Twins Of The Awakened

Hand in hand, they wandered feeling lost. 
There was a cold breeze that felt like frost.
Together they stayed and wandered together,
Hoping this day would bring warmer weather. 

The sights they were seeing 
Were like no other! 
The wailing from the clouds 
Made them shudder.
Reality set in 
That something bad had happened
As they wandered farther into the dark.

Wraith shadows taunted 
As they trembled in fear, 
Oh so brave, they didn't shed a single tear. 
Instead, they started whistling 
A happy song they knew, 
And far, far away, the wraith shadows flew. 

Their song was heard from miles away, 
Along came Hubrid Nox, 
Who came to save the day! 
"Come with me, little ones, 
I have a place for you."
When they saw the mansion, 
Their smiles grew! 

Plenty of room to run and play, 
Thank you, Nox, for saving the day! 
And giving the twins a safe place to stay!

In the darkest storm she offered light,
Amidst the swirling sky,
She danced with strength and reckless hope
That made the faeries cry.
Bright ribbons twisted 'round her form,
A desperate flurry, fierce,
The fire burning in her eyes,
A heart of stone, could pierce.

A solitary flame, her brilliance 
Cut through deep despair,
As she, with wild abandon
Threw her arms into the air.
A tambourine, so sweet and light
Sang brightly to the sound
Of frenzied, graceful footfalls
As they touched upon the ground.

She twirled and twirled as if
Her dance alone could raise the sun,
'Til all else blurred before her eyes 
And chaos came undone.
The clouds began to fade as 
Golden rays lit from above,
The hearts of all who watched with
Inspiration, joy, and love.
