Creep into the cave so dark,
"Lets go back!" says a Neopet sharp,
I turn my head and walk again,
Deeper into the Snowager's den,
Another pet cries, "I'm really scared!"
"But we must be brave and be prepared!"
Shouts a Lupe, with his bravery beared,
Suddenly he comes into sight,
The sky turns grey then pitch black like night,
I quiet all my pets then sneak into the cave,
My Lupe is whispering, "Hurry! Be brave!"
I turn the corner and what do I see?
A keychain glittering in the treasure hoard sea,
I aim for a Negg but its too far to get,
I grab the keychain then look at my pets,
One is shivering, scared from the cold,
Another talking softly, "Hurry! Be bold!"
I look at the Negg one more time,
Then run out the cave, the keychain is mine!
I smile at my pets then we hurry out fast,
"Now he's asleep... but it ain't gonna last!"

At the edge of the treeline
Of the Haunted Woods I stood
Waiting for my Usul
To come back with some goods
"GirlsBestFriend!" I hollered
Into the still stale air
For I was frightened beyond anything
And standing straight up was my hair
The gloominess of the woods
Pervaded all my thoughts
And soon I was all a-shiver
My eyes were seeing spots

Then suddenly my nose was clogged
With stenches evil and gross
The air around me enclosed me with fog
I could only see my hands shaking at most
I couldn't move. I couldn't run.
Frightened out of my mind was I.
Scared stiff as a corpse
I kept on thinking, "I'm too young to die!"

The stories I'd heard
Of the Swamp Ghoul late at night
Came flooding back to memory
And soon my face was white.
But soon I heard a scary sound
Like branches being stepped on
It snapped me out of my reverie
And then my fright was gone.

For out of the woods stepped my Usul
And in her paws she carried
A Supernova that she'd won in battle
Which explained why she tarried
I swept her up into my arms
And kissed her furry cheek
My heroine, my saving grace!
She thought I was a freak.

But whatever had been out there
Was only scared away
By my courageous and daring darling
Shining her prized nova bright as day.
So the next time we go back there
To those scary Haunted Woods,
Remind me to bring a flashlight
And to leave behind my goods.
