A sense of fashion to offend
His rule has been tyranny
And justice not sustained
And so, for all these reasons
We will be free of your domain

Oh Sloth, how you have fallen

Your selfishness led astray

Grundo Chef's Delicacies

There's gargapple, roasted to perfection,
Cherries Jubalee and Iceberg Sundae.
Cosmic Broccoli - smells delicious!
Blueberry Gateaux and pills of Green Tea.

What's that, Deep-Fried Space Rocks?
Among my favourites. And Beef Rouladen;
although they might not look like the
originals, they're delicious all the same.

Okay, I can see how you're suspicious.
But have you seen the Grundo Chef, my friend?
How could you doubt with his determination
he'd make you a delicious meal in the end?

Sure, you might have to travel to the
Space Station to track down this Chef, 
but if you are willing to make the journey
you're sure to have a treat served up.

Grobleen Fruit Punch, the list goes on.
Sloth Surprise, Rocket Corn on the Cob.
Intergalactic Spiced Beans, and finally
everyone's favourite: Impermeable Cheese Log.

There's a never-ending supply of dishes
as long as you are not faint of heart,
and your stomach can hold up to it all,
what are you waiting for... let's start!

Make your way to Virtupets, 
make a weekend out of it if you'd like. 
But be sure to stop 
by Grundos cafe and try out some foods.
For today is Grundo Day,

The Grundo Leader Attacks!

Garb is his name
He likes to grab things
Even though he's too big 
To get far on those wings

What kind of thief,
Would want to be pink? 
The Grundo Leader, of course! 
At least we know his name! 

An item gone in the blink of an eye
Can only mean you've ran into the guy
Look for the event at the top of your screen
Who'd have guessed he could be so mean? 

Or he could be nice, no not one person knows
Where his next stop is 
Or where he goes
One thing is for sure, though...

I have no choice but to let him go
If he came from space 
Then how can I follow? 
This sliver of sadness is hard to swallow

This misery, oh my! 
An item stolen is an item lost
I would have placed it away
Had I known the cost

Now he's gone, vanished
Like a leaf in the wind
My sorrow unquenched, a thirst for revenge
One day he'll be sorry if I see him again!

Friendship

Our freedom if there remain still
Those among us who will side with
Our enemies?
If only there was time to make 
You see, but I must help Cylara
And when I turn you have fled
Like a coward.
Perhaps the only thing left is to
Accept the past and embrace the
Future. In my heart I accept this last
Terrible truth.
Turning to follow my new friend,
I spare one last look to the way you fled.

The Island Grundo

The island Grundo wears a mask
Of wood that's lacquered white.
It's carved with tribal images.
It is an awesome sight!

A skirt of grass adorns its waist,
And wrists are graced by straw.
Its arms are bare and tan in hue,
Held high in a hurrah!

Beneath the mask, the Grundo wears
A smile from ear to ear.
Its island temperament ensures
It's always full of cheer!

The island Grundo's marvelous,
Nobody can deny!
It's lovely, perfect, wonderful.
It's gorgeous to the eye!

Guzzling Grundos House Special

Should you wary from a flight,
In deepest space alight.
You’ll find your tummy starts to roar,
When Grundos is in sight.
A merry space port café there,
That serves a hearty dish.
You’ll find a feed and friends to see,
If that is what you wish!

One thing you’ll note as you sit down,
As stated on each wall.
The house special does get a rave,
“The best!” reads menu scrawl.
You order fast, this food sounds good!
You sit back, chat, and wait.
Who knows what goes in Grundo’s best?
With such reviews? Sounds great!

Then meal arrives, you stop and blink,
With fork you slowly poke.
Should you have ordered something plain?
Regret now that you spoke?
Before you sits a glob of goo,
Pale hue with shimmered sheen.
A lump of blue doth bulge straight out,
The rest? A pallid green.

You stare now at the meal you have,
(But now, does it stare too?)
Paid your fee, now dare you eat?
One bite, all up to you!
Soon you find your plate is clean,
You order meals galore!
For once you taste this Grundo treat,
You’ll come back soon for more.

Spider Grundo

Eight arms hold so carefully the web spun
The silk tapestry hung out of the light
In the center waits the dangerous one
His fangs dripping with desire to bite

Red eyes that glow fiercely peer through the dark
Awaiting some foolish adventurer
Who chose to on a cave mission embark
Believing him a mere conjecturer

It was not his choice to be so monstrous
For this harsh fate he did not volunteer
His future could have been oh so lustrous
Yet he fell to servitude, flaw, and fear

His mind sometimes shifts to that horrid day
Sloth's order so quick and no time to hide
He fought and wrestled but had to obey
With a Grundo Warrior on either side

"Soon Neopia will be mine!" Sloth cried
Unstoppable Arachnomorph power
But success to the Doctor was denied
A faulty potion he did devour

So with his mind under his own control
He disappeared into the wilderness
To find him you must pay a hefty toll
His great hunger outweighs any loneliness

Tourists crazed or without any fear
His greeting a vacation would scupper
Out from the dark a voice chillingly clear
Come right in you're just in time for supper

My Favorite Grundo Things

First is the I Club Sloth Grundo T-Shirt 
A witty way to mock the dictator!
Wear it with pride, nice and green;
Tell slavery you will see him later!

Next is a very charming piece
The sunny Gardening Grundo Gnome
With bright red eyes and a giant smile
He will surely brighten any Neohome!

From Fyora’s Tower comes item three
A powerful weapon for battling
Multiple use, and difficult to block,
The Rainbow Clockwork Grundo is astounding!

If you like cute things, and who doesn’t?
Check out the Baby Grundo Plushie
Soft and squishy, he will melt your heart
Everyone in Neopia will surely agree!

Fifth is a book that is considered a classic
Definitely a must in every kitchen shelf;
It’s none other than 
The book Grundo Café Recipes,
Written by the Grundo Lunch Lady herself!

Finally, if you want to throw the best ever,
Whether in Kreludor or the depths of Kiko Lake,
Don’t forget to have a Grundo Piñata,
It's the only piñata that is stuffed with cake!

Those six are my favorite Grundo things
Some are rare and some are common...
Like my mallow Grundo, they make me smile,
And that is worth more than any fortune!

Grundo's... Cafe?

Way past all the clouds, 
Way up high in space.
There's an interesting shop, 
It's an... odd little place.

Run by Gargarox Isfuhblarg,
(Or however it is you say it.)
He makes... er, food for Virtupets
Never a recipe has he omit.

In fact, he makes new ones, 
And improves upon the old.
Because how can you go wrong with a
Cratered Pastry, served ice-cold?

He's invented quite adventurous dishes
Only for the most daring Neopets about.
Space Fungused Cheese and Roast Gargapple,
Served with a side of pickled Snorkle Snout.
(Yum!)

And what about Beekle Burgers?
Oh! What a culinary delight!
And Deep-Fried Space Rocks tickle my taste buds,
When they're served and cooked just right.

I also love to add a dash of Space Spice,
To give a zing to my Vegetable Deluxe.
And then, for dessert, I usually have
A delicious Grobleen Fruit Punch.

I guess you can say I'm a fanatic
For the delights made by this Grundo,
But really, who honestly doesn't love
An extra large serving of Blueberry Gateaux?

So next time you're visiting Virtupets
Eating boring old Vegetable Stew,
Try something sweet from Grundo's Cafe.

I once was a soldier for Sloth  
It was better than washing dishes  
But being a soldier for Sloth 
Was one of those dim-witted wishes 

I thought that the travel was fun
There wasn't much else fun about it
I wanted to just be SOMEONE
The end of each day made me doubt it

If anything's true as the moon
You can't quit in Doctor's Sloth's forces
So I found a desert sand dune
And hid out with some local sources

If you asked me to say just when
I decided that life should be wet
The desert will do that my friend
A decision I'll never regret

Undead Grundo Shopkeeper

In the forbidden accursed city,
an Undead Grundo Shopkeeper
does merchanting no more,
that vile mutated creature.

Rotten gross food to lure
travelers on the brink of despair,
in one fell swoop,
his visitors are gone in a flare.

Blank-eyed and restless,
his spirit eternally haunts
anyone who dare come 
to the ruined city with wants.

Staring into the misty fog,
he sees a wandering explorer
but soon, very soon,
the city will be filled with horror.

Grundo at the Rainbow Fountain

Purple or orange, which do you choose?
The Grundos of Kreludor find it urgent
But there are so many alternate hues 
Why not follow something divergent?

Mallow is what first comes to mind 
A Grundo so white, puffy, and sweet! 
Of course, no arms and legs is unkind 
But the cuteness factor cannot be beat! 

Maraquan would grant you the power to swim
And faerie, the coveted chance to fly!
These athletes are so elegant and trim 
In the deep water or the soaring sky!

There's always zombie, so sallow and pale 
Those leaden white eyes, and rotting clothes
Perhaps a bit scary, since this would entail 
That Grundo learning to decompose. 

How about 8-Bit? So retro, but new! 
To be two-dimensional, lose resolution – 
It might be a difficult choice to undo 
A Grundo in reverse evolution. 

Grundo, do you see? There are so many more 
Colors and lifestyles available to you! 
Not just purple and orange like on Kreludor 
But a rainbow of options for you to review.

The Grundo Leader Attacks!

The Grundo Leader attacks!
He steals your Blue Grundo Plush,
And as quickly as he arrives,
He leaves again with a whoosh!

Why did he do that? What does he want?
With a plushie so small and so blue? 
The answer is really quite a surprise,
What do you think he’ll do?

He’ll take it to Faerieland to sit with his friend,
A discarded magical guy,
Who is lonely all day with nothing to do,
Except sit by himself and sigh.

Together they’ll have the greatest of times,
With sandwiches, small cakes, and tea,
To Grundo plushies and the Leader himself,
Oh, how I wish that they’d invite me!

So if the Grundo Leader attacks you,
And you want your beloved toy back,
Try visiting Faerieland, he might be there,
With a picnic set out on a mat.

He acts like he’s all big and scary,
But really he’s made of pure win!
He loves to spend time helping Grundos
Who aren’t quite as lucky as him.
