The Mutant Kiko

The Mutant Kiko doesn't have
A bandage on his head.
With eyes of red, his hands are clawed,
He has something else instead.

A potion he consumed one day,
What a mistake that had been.
His reflection in the lake had changed;
This creature he had never seen.

Dribbling slime, so green and cold,
This Kiko is a ghastly sight.
A creature foul, yet misunderstood;
He wouldn't harm or bite.

His skin is blue and bubbling,
He has two piercing teeth.
While other Kikos float above,
This one lurks beneath.

The World That Doesn't Exist

Legends tell of a hidden world
That wobbles to and fro.
Made of a transparent substance
That everyone should know.

The smell will lure you toward it.
Your stomach will let out a roar.
Until you have a sudden bounce in your step,
From its gelatinous floor.

As you bounce, the buildings shake,
As if they're laughing in glee.
You'll somersault into the air,
And make wary pedestrians flee.

But you must control your hunger pains,
And keep bouncing down the street,
For if you even lick a house,
It'll be someone fist you'll happen to eat.

Don't distress, for not far along,
A shop stands tall and proud,
Where delicious treats are served with a smile,
Though eating the shopkeep is not allowed.

Sadly though, your pocket is empty,
And you continue your bouncing parade,
When suddenly you notice a wobbling mountain,
Where others have gone to invade.

You bounce as fast as your legs will let,
Sinking into the ground,
But trip and fall flat on your face,
And start flying all around.

After bouncing between buildings,
And over a few Neopets' heads,
You catch yourself and head towards your goal;
Where the road has led.

You stop before the massive thing,
Your long journey having sweetened,
But suddenly you're stopped
By a big, red guard saying:
"The Jelly has been eaten!!!:("

Your weary legs give out beneath you,
Your eyes grow wide with surprise,
A sniffle escapes your little nose,
And your poor heart screams: "WHY!?"

You close your eyes as a tear streaks down,
And open them up again,
To see yourself back in your home,
Inside your comfy den.

You blink a few times and rub your eyes,
You could have sworn you were there.
Your friends don't believe you
No matter how much you insist.
Poor little Neopet, Jelly World doesn't exist!
