The Petri-Pied
By Mamasimios

By now we know the dire fate
Of the faeries, who in stony silence wait,
For their rescue, which is surely nigh,
But I ask you, what of the petri-pied?

While Brynn and Jazan and King Altador
Search for clues to seek the cure,
What thought is given to the pie
With crust so cruelly fossilised?

What pastry this doomed ne'er again
To waft its fragrance on the wind?
Surely I must speak up for
This tart, doomed to perfume no more.

For can this pie retain its pieness?
(And here I do admit my bias),
But I say a pie has no reason for being
When it's a pie that can't be eaten.

The curse is shared by Fyora's rose,
Her stony cake, the flutes are froze,
And, yes, the faeries have turned to statues,
But it's for the pie I cry for rescue!

A curse! A hex! Bad luck! A pox
Upon the head of Hubrid Nox!
For if Hanso can be believed
'Twas the warlock who did this foul deed.

The Faeries in Ruin
By Ang3lgurl72

Once upon a faerie tale,
It was the festival, so faeries gathered there,
Until one horrible moment, in blinding light,
They were petrified in their fright.

But who had done this evil deed
With such lightning speed?
Maybe the Ixi Hanso can tell us who...
But who knows what trickery he might do?

He told his tale, Hanso did,
But did he have something hid?
However, he told us it was Nox,
But he seemed quite sly, like a fox...

And so forth King Altador went,
To Hubrid's lair he planned to torment,
But Hanso went ahead to find Nox first,
Did he warn him or try to have him cursed?

Can we trust him, this sly one?
Can we reverse the deed that has been done?
So many questions, so little time,
Can we catch the one committing this crime?

Petrified
By Autotune

party no more
glitter no more and
sparkle no more
no more magic
no more song and dance
no more faerie cakes
dusted with sugar

first we wonder why
the wind sings no more
and the earth stirs not
from its slumber
and water never rushes sweet
never fractures the light
and the rainbows disappear

sooner than later we realise
that even the brightest fire
has fizzled and waned
and the spark of life has gone
from those once-bright eyes
now stone and shale and
petrified.

The Faerie's Ruin: A Poem
By Krn55

All across the land,
How the faeries loved to roam!
But they were dealt an evil hand,
And now they've turned to stone.

But who would do such an act,
When the faeries had always been so fair?
Whatever the reason, it is a fact,
That the faeries now retain a frozen stare.

Neopians everywhere are distraught
At such a predicament taking place.
Perhaps Neopia should ought
To uncover this evil-doer's face.

Into silence Faerieland fell,
Even Queen Fyora has been turned to stone!
But what is there left to tell,
Except that Neopets have a right to moan!

Without the faeries, Neopia is dull,
Why would someone do this to them?
Faerieland has fallen into a lull,
Life will be restored, who knows when?

Who is behind this evil plot?
If only we could see.
Hopefully whoever it is is soon caught
So the faeries can once again be free.

Stone Faeries
By Luckifrog

Don't worry about us,
We shall fare fine,
Our outsides stone,
but inside we are alive.
The only thing that
You must worry about,
The one thing that
You must all change,
The only item that is
Precious to life,
Is the one,
The only,
Pie.
