Shaigirl was very excited to go out tonight.
It was Halloween and Shaigirl wanted candy.
She was waiting for the the dark to override the light.
When she could go next door and get her best neofriend Mandy.
Then the two would roam the in the dark
telling scary stories of ghosts, and ghouls.
In the misty fog the two neopets lark,
looking to play a joke on two unlucky fools.
When around the corner comes Giggles and Bits.
Shaigirl looks at Mandy and gives her a smile.
She has a good joke to play on those misfits.
They have been waiting to do this for a while.
They quickly run to a nearby tree to hide.
They put the scary masks in the right places.
they looked at each other and Shaigirl cried,
"Oh I can't wait to see the look on their faces!"
As Giggles and Bits walked casually by,
Shaigirl and Mandy jumped out of the tree.
Yelling "boo" they threw their hands to the sky
They were laughing so hard they could barely see.
But Giggles and Bits didn't get scared or shout.
They just walked on by like nothing was there.
Shaigirl and Mandy wondered what that was about.
They shook their heads and looked for a fool to scare.

A boy walked up the the microphone
with his slick black hair and his nauseous tone
he said " I wrote a poem today
and I'll read it to you if that's ok"
he whipped out his paper for all to see
I wrote it myself, I swear, honestly
" I have a neopet, his name is bob
I can't buy him food cuz I don't have a job
he sits on his page and he makes a big mess
We like to play poker but my card's always lower
(I couldn't find a word that rhymed with less, I mean mess)
When I went to the space station up in the sky
I had to take a bus cuz bob can't fly
When I got there I made a big fat mistake
I adopted a small yellow thingamajake
I came back to earth and I bought bob some food
but he didn't quite like it, boy was that rude
he said it was bad and that he wouldn't eat
so I turned around and I stood on his feet
(I would never do that, cuz bob is so sweet)
He went on to tell us about other neopets
about the ones he has and stuff he gets
I tried to take notes but I fell behind
because his words didn't keep a rhythm and they didn't quite rhyme
(sorry, bad joke, neither did mine)
(sorry again, i'll hold it next time)
He finished abruptly it's true he was done
And what do ya know, the kid, he won

My owner wasn't good to me,
He was too busy to read me a book,
My stomach was always empty,
Because he was too lazy to cook.
Then finally my dream came true,
On a foggy September day,
He ditched me for a Blumaroo,
And threw me in the pound to stay.
The pound is a very bad place,
For a lonely Neopet to be,
Every day I'd walk and pace,
Dreaming of the day I'd be set free.
Then one day a guy walked by,
My dusty, dirty cage,
He stopped and looked me in the eyes,
His eyes were filled with rage.
He was mad that they had locked me up,
So he took me home with him,
He acted like I was a sick pup,
My nice new owner named Tim.
Now every day I have fun,
With my owner every day,
He treats me like I am his son,
And he always has time to play.
So here is some advice,
If you're thinking of disowning your pet,
Please, oh please think twice,
It'll be something you won't regret!
