FYORA DAY SPECIAL

Fyora's Doll
By _Razcalz_

Perched proudly in the sparkling case,
A doll of purple bright.
All who hold this figure in their paws
Feel sense of pure delight.
Always a favourite, this doll is,
Not without reason, too.
For it is the Faerie Queen Doll,
Exquisite orchid hues.

(Fyora's doll upon the shelf
Is prettiness itself.)

Simple form, yet elegant,
Perfectly curved wings.
Gently tapered at the tips,
Ready to flutter, sing.
Arching just above her head,
Bordered with violet.
Delicate, the fragile wings
Favour a careful pet.

(Appraising, the slanted eyes,
Amethyst gaze, so wise.)

Lilac hair streams, long and straight,
Behind the doll's pale face.
Mini crown upon her fringe,
Fyora's royal grace.
Faerie Queen Doll's eyes do shine,
Two sparkling round gems.
Widening dress supports the doll,
Complete with darkened hem.

(Majesty of the Faerie Queen,
Captured in this doll's sheen.)

They also say that, when you squeeze
This pretty toy,
The eyes will glow, beacons of pink,
Just once from this doll coy.
One almost expects the wings to quiver,
To fly and never fall...
Hard to believe something so magical
Is just a simple doll.

Ascension (To a Young Fyora)
By Precious_katuch14

Fyora, from this balcony you shall be seen
No longer as a princess, but as a queen.
Relinquish your circlet and take your crown;
Smile for your supporters, and never frown.

Fyora, you shall rule, no matter what they say,
Faerieland is now yours, each and every day.
The sceptre once mine now bears your name,
It waited for you ever since you came.

Wield your power wisely and well,
For ignorance is how some past queens fell.
Learn from history, lest it repeats
Bringing back strife, chaos, and defeat.

Fame and prestige are not everything,
There is also thinking, deciding, and doing.
It's more than just sitting on your throne
Or strolling around the palace you own.

Keep these reminders in mind, dear Fyora,
And you will indeed go very, very far.
Don't take this lightly; it's never easy
(If you do, it will definitely make you queasy.)

Arise, Queen Fyora, and stand tall --
My time is over; now you answer the call
As I pass the royal reins to you,
I believe that you will reign true.

The Ultimate Fyora Day Muffin
By Soaringeagle25

Flittering and glittering,
It swoops through the air
Leaving a trail of pink sparkles
Both gossamer and fair.

Sugar-spun wings
With raspberry flavouring
Delicately propelling
A muffin worth savouring.

It glides and circles,
It tumbles and turns,
This decadent pastry
Is one for which a Neopet yearns.

Sweet creamy icing,
A pale purplish pink,
Dazzles like diamonds;
Enchanted, I think.

There is just one fault
To this muffin's perfection --
It seems nobody but Fyora
Can catch this confection!

Upon Entering the Throne Room
By Larkspurlane

You feel her before you see her --
Pure magic, it thrills with her name,
Leaves you breathless --
Fyora, the Faerie Queen.

In her look is a living freshness,
Summer rainstorms, the quiet power
Of distant thunder, the potential
To burn heart-strings with a
Lightning flash.

Her face is the cloud-moon
And the water-moon reflected
On distant still lakes,
And her sceptre a beacon, a rule,
Old magic and old power
Clasped in a hand of ivory grace.

Her calm is that of the sea --
Flooding deep and heavy
But a force unstoppable when
The pulse of righteousness shakes it.

Ages has she lived, and many wars fought,
And so when she arises to welcome you,
Purple hair drawn back from a face of white,
Look her in the eyes, and hear her words wise --
But read on the lips that part
The whispered notes of a weary heart.

Jhudora's Ode to Fyora
By Anjie

Oh, Faerie Queen of brightest realm!
Oh, gentle lady fair!
She who guards the tower high,
And treasures that dwell there.
(Oh, how I wonder, my dear Queen,
How different things could be,
If you were booted from your throne,
Replaced by... let's say me.)

Fyora Day, we celebrate!
Our queen so kind and sweet!
The faeries wish nought but a chance
To bow at graceful feet!
(I wouldn't bow if I were paid,
To one as bland as you!
Such sweetness must be one big act,
I won't believe it's true!)

Fyora, hear our praising cry,
Upon your gracious day!
We seek the wisdom of your words,
And treasure all you say!
(To be honest, Faerie Queen,
I find you ramble on.
The only order I would like,
Is one to see you gone.)

How can a day to honour you
Come but just once a year?
Sheer weeks we should all set aside,
To praise Fyora dear!
(Between you and Illusen too,
A wonder I'm not ill!
Of faeries sickly sweet and good,
I'll say I've had my fill!)

So raise our glass to you, our Queen,
We wish you all things fine.
In honour of your gracious self,
Tonight we feast and dine!
(Yeah, yeah, another boring year,
Fyora at the helm.
But if I can get my way,
It soon will be MY realm.)

The Faerie Queen's Tale
By Icesmith

Pristine, intact, the tower stands,
A glimmer of hope and truth,
Memories glisten in the crystallised bricks,
Memories of time gone by, of old, of youth.

The violet walls release a glow,
The summer heat cascading upon the pink,
The clouds below flutter, a golden hue,
Each building outlined with silver ink.

Inside she stands, her wings sparkling wide,
Both glimmering shards of magic,
Her eyes glazed with benevolent warmth,
No room for the disastrous, sick, or tragic.

Her kingdom below dances with life,
Each being alive in the music of the clouds,
All joyous of a ruler, so generous and kind,
In glee and joy their bodies they shroud.

The banners rise, rich in purple,
"Fyora Day" golden ink elegiac it reads,
And all jump in such ecstatic praise,
Of Queen Fyora and all of her good deeds.

Smiling, she rests, and gazes below,
Where no evil will ever prevail,
And one day, when old, the children will talk,
Of the legendary Faerieland Queen's tale.

Crown of Fyora
By Concertogreat_8

A glint of gold to blind your eyes,
A shocking light of sure surprise,
Shines from the great jewelled tip,
Rubies, emeralds, clustered on the lip.

A spiral design runs gently up and round,
A strange and beautiful rune bedecks this crown.
Made of finest gold, each two points a pair;
Moulded gently, sculpted with the greatest care.

Craftsmen have toiled, workers have slaved,
To many this is madness; even then they raved,
But to all who gaze upon this piece of power,
This delicate crown that holds the very hour,
Then they know they are truly satisfied,
Their hunger abated, worth all they have sighed.

Oh, crown of Fyora! Most beautiful thing!
Rather I'd look upon you than a diamond ring.
Fyora's gaze lights up the dullest soul,
And with her crown, she is made whole.

One without the other is like bread without yeast,
Crown without the queen is a queen without peace.
Written in a language long forgotten and so strange,
Upon the crown; the story of the power it contains.
Faerie queen, Faerie crown, together bound,
With the purest magic, the brightest peace, round
In a rule of everlasting happiness and grace,
A thousand years as fine as fragile lace.

Bow down before her, Neopets, Faeries, too,
Bow to the queen, and the queen's golden hue
Of the crown that lies upon her head,
Making of her hair a gentle, ever-resting bed.
Oh, crown of Fyora!

Fyora's Encomium
By Ephemeral_love

Ev'ry ear, hark these words,
For today is hers, our noble queen!
Rejoice and let my encomium resonate,
Thou has yet to learn why
Fyora Day makes us most keen!

Who could not be enamoured by
Her glamours, that illuminate
Chatoyant eyes, wisdom imbued,
Amethysts shattered have settled there,
A gaze used to captivate.

T'would it not be an honour itself
To receive a smile from her amiable lips,
Dark damask'd roses arched,
Lilac beauty in themselves, they are.
Indeed, they illumine any eclipse.

Her cynosure would tie between
A niveous face, or her faerie wings,
Lithe and fluid, as she glides,
They will scintillate evermore, sempiternal
As vibrant as the Healing Springs.

Ev'ryone hurries upon her speech;
Ev'ry ear is desperate to hear her word.
Behind the lilting dulcet tone,
Kindly to even the lowest pet,
Never was there a voice so widely preferred.

Ethereal to be in Her Majesty's presence,
Drinking in her scent, redolent of a Rose Tree.
To hear the mellifluous whispers,
A glory beholden to few,
Never a more beautiful queen to see.

We are blessed in Faerieland,
Truly, we cherish her light within.
Exuberant are we on Fyora Day!
And now this paean draws to a close;
Let the festivities begin!

Ode to Fyora from a Loyal Subject
By Nut862

O Fyora, queen of our faerie kingdom,
Your gentle voice ever bids us to come,
Your whispers in our ears show us the way to fly;
Your sweet song carries far beyond our sky,
Through sunlight, darkness, or stormy weather.
Your rule is what holds these clouds together!
Your watch ensures that flights are smooth;
Your kind words can never fail to soothe.
All year long your gardens bloom green --
O Fyora, we are grateful for our queen!

O Fyora, though we live high above the land,
Still Your Royal Highness can understand
The wishes of those who dwell below,
The dreams they have that no one knows,
And if their hopes are pure enough for you,
Your magic makes these dreams come true!
How little they know from where their fortune came,
Hardly a pet below speaks a noble faerie's name,
Yet still you care for them as if they're your own.
O Fyora, we are glad you sit upon your throne!

O Fyora, your quest makes me dance for joy
For 'tis an honor to be in your employ,
So call me again to help at your side --
I'll spread my wings and soar far and wide;
I'll search all night over many a mile,
If I can only return and see you smile
When I successfully complete my chore:
What more reward could I ever ask for?
We are happy to serve a leader so dear --
O Fyora, we are pleased that you're here!

Fyora, We Have a Problem
By Ktkdk

Dear Fyora,

I thought you might want to know
How your party preparations go.

Everything is totally out of hand;
Basically nothing is going as planned.
Your party might be a little less grand.

I've already invited every faerie,
But that Jhudora is pretty scary.
You should warn your guests to be wary,
Or things might get a little hairy.

I still have more news to share:
Vira smashed your royal chair.
(Don't worry. It's already under repair.)
The Beast took all the food off to his lair,
And the balloons you ordered still aren't there.

The cook went off on a vacation;
His assistant left too, without explanation.
A Skeith ate all the decorations
And Sloth arrived without invitation.
It's really becoming a sticky situation;
You might need to lower your expectations.

Everything is in disarray
Because the Pant Devil simply won't obey.
He is still taking everyone's stuff away,
So you should probably come without delay.
That is all I have to say.
I hope you have a great Fyora Day!
Sincerely, KayTeeKayDeeKay
