The Dawn of the Chocolate Ball

Golden sunlight dapples down,
Its molten warmth is felt.
So promising, this cheery sign,
Unless things start to melt.

The dawn has basked on special day,
It's chaos all around.
Chocolate treats of every kind,
In boxes, on the ground.

A chocolate fountain is in place,
Its shiny shape aglow.
It must be filled to splutter up,
Then drizzle down below.

A millions things there are to do,
Before grand ball begins.
Seating plans are strewn around,
On messy, scribbled charts.

A crimson carpet must be sought,
And rolled along the hall.
Anyone of Neo-fame
Will walk here at the ball.

Delicious items must be found,
And on the platters spread.
To hold a party of this size,
It's best one plans ahead!

In the end it shall work out,
This panic is a waste.
Appearances don't matter here,
It's all about the taste!

A Chocolate Statuette

Fifteenth day of Gathering,
The Annual Chocolate Ball.
Chocolate fountain, twirling guests,
Pure splendour in the hall.
I wander 'neath the sparkling lights,
Toward me bounds an Ixi.
She grins and yields a chocolate gift:
A statuette of me.

Carved from finest chocolate slab,
A tiny, sugary twin.
Intricate is figure's form,
Stable, yet so thin.
I marvel at the perfect clone,
Amazing and incredible.
"A souvenir," the Ixi squeaks,
"Beautiful and edible!"

The thought of eating this fine piece
Sends down my spine a chill.
A perfect statuette like such
Is mark of first-class skill.
To eat this gift of craftsmanship?
I know of nothing worse.
With careful, gentle, clasping hands,
I set it in my purse.

The ball is over, guests depart,
I sadly leave the hall.
This night is one I shan't forget,
A memory I'll recall.
I stop to bring my statuette out...
I gasp out loud, befuddled.
It's gone! The statuette's gone!
What's this gooey puddle?

The Chocolate Ball

A chocolate hat for a chocolate king,
White chocolate gems in a chocolate ring,
Chocolate settings for them all,
Who come to the Chocolate Ball.

More chocolate than you could eat,
Even those chocolate elite,
Gathered over by a chocolate wall,
Waiting for the Chocolate Ball.

In a chocolate castle through and through,
White and dark, milk chocolate too,
A palace for chocolate fans all,
As they come for the Chocolate Ball.

The chocolate master waves and smiles,
Proceeding through chocolate aisles,
And over the crowd a hush does fall --
He's about to begin the Chocolate Ball.

"Welcome, welcome, chocolate fans,
Gathered here from all the lands,
I shan't make you wait for fall,
Come! Begin the Chocolate Ball!"

The chocolate master calls out loud,
His voice resounding over the crowd,
And cheers and cries come from all,
Beginning the Annual Chocolate Ball.

An Ode for Chocolate Day

An ode to chocolate fair and true,
What would I ever do without you?
You cover my Achyfi Lollypop,
And in my milk when it's hot.

Even on pets you do appear,
Only from the Ray and Fountain I hear.

After such a sweet pet, can you go back to before?

Nothing is better than returning to

From slushies, pizzas, and even sundaes,
You could have an all-chocolate buffet!
