Neopets - How to draw Trapper Remis

How to draw Trapper Remis : Printable Version

Start by drawing a circle for Trapper's head. Then, make an "S"-shaped line that begins on the left side of the head circle. This line will serve as a guide when you're drawing the Poogle's body.

Next, make a large oval that overlaps the head circle for Trapper's body.

It's now time to work on Remis's arms and legs. First, make four small ovals for his hands and feet. Then, connect the ovals you made for Trapper's hands to his body using two pairs of curved lines. Finally, make the upper part of the Poogle's left leg (the one on the bottom) by drawing a curved line between his body and his left foot.

Lightly sketch a pair of crossed lines on Trapper's head and another pair on his body. These lines will be guides for placing his facial features and adding more detail to his body.

Using the guide lines you made in the last step, draw Trapper's face. He's obviously in the middle of an intense Yooyuball match, so give him a furrowed brow and a snarling mouth. Be sure to include plenty of pointy teeth!

Now, give some more detail to Trapper's hands and feet. He's wearing his Yooyuball sling on his right hand (the one that's raised in the air), so remember to include his glove on that hand. Then, draw his boots and shin-guards on his feet. Finally, make his pointed Poogle ear by adding a sideways rounded "V" shape to the side of his head.

Next, let's give Trapper some of his Yooyuball gear. Draw his sling on his right arm, and remember to add some ornamental scrollwork to it. After all, he has to look the part of Team Captain! Then, make the sash that runs across Trapper's chest. Lastly, add the wristband of his glove to his left arm and a band along the top of his left boot.

Yooyuball can be a rather rough game, so Trapper needs even more equipment to keep him safe. Add two more straps around his right arm to hold his sling in place, and give the glove on his left hand some more detail. Then, make some kneepads on his boots, and begin to sketch in the shape of his toga.

It's now time to show off Trapper's Altadorian pride by giving him a laurel wreath. Then, add some more detail to his toga. Finally, draw his short Poogle tail and make some triangular markings on his head.

Erase any extra lines that you might have on your drawing. Next, fill in Remis's pupils and the inside of his mouth. Then, add a bit of grass beneath his left hand. Your drawing should now look like this.

Give your portrait of Trapper Remis a bit of colour using anything you'd like, from pastels or crayons to a computer program!

Add some dramatic shading and highlights to your picture to make it look especially realistic. It almost looks like Trapper is about to score another legendary goal, doesn't it?
