Neopets - How to draw Roxton A. Colchester III
How to draw Roxton A. Colchester III : Printable Version
Start by making a slightly flattened circle for Roxton's head. Next, draw a wide oval that overlaps the head shape for the brim of the Lutari's hat. Finally, make an arc above the hat's brim for the top of the hat.
Next, make two long, curving lines that begin at the bottom of the head shape. These lines will form Roxton's body. At the end of these lines, make another, shorter line to create Roxton's legs. Remember to make his left leg (the one on your right) slightly bent.
It's now time to make the Lutari's arms. To do this, draw a pair of curving lines from each of Roxton's shoulders. His left arm (which is on your right) is bent, so those lines will be more curved. For his hands, add an oval to the end of each of his arms.
At the end of Roxton's right leg (the one on your left), make a rounded shape for his foot. His other foot is behind his right foot, so draw a curved line on the back of Roxton's right leg (on your left) and another, smaller curved line on the side of his right foot to show his left foot.
Next, make a large, rounded shape behind Roxton's body for his fluffy Lutari tail.
Give Roxton's hands more definition by dividing the hand shapes you made into separate fingers.
Let's begin working on Roxton's face. Draw his eyes, nose, and smiling mouth. Keep in mind that, because his head is turned, his left eye (on your right) will be a bit smaller than his right eye. Don't forget to add his little moustache.
Give more shape and detail to Roxton's hat. Then, make the hair that is sticking out from underneath his hat. Finally, add some tufts of fur to Roxton's cheeks.
Erase any extra lines that might be left on Roxton's head. Then, begin drawing his clothing by giving him a collared shirt and a waistcoat.
Continue working on Roxton's clothing by drawing his trousers, boots, and belt.
On his right arm (the one on your left), add a cuff to his sleeve and a fingerless glove to his hand. Also, include a few creases on his sleeve to give it the appearance of cloth.
Do the same for his left arm (which is on your right). Remember that his left arm is bent, so the perspective will be a bit different.
Erase any extra lines you might have left. Then, give lots of fluffy texture to Roxton's tail.
Erase the last of your leftover lines. Your drawing should now look like this.
It's now time to give your drawing some colour. You can use anything you'd like, from markers to a computer program.
As a finishing touch, add lots of shading to your picture to make it look especially realistic and three-dimensional. Does your drawing of Roxton A. Colchester III look like it's ready to explore Neopia?
